What a wonderful experience at Cress. Sitting outside along Oak Creek under the trees on a warm summer night, this might be the most romantic spot in Sedona. A 3 course prix fixe meal with multiple choices and a great wine list makes for a great night out. Cheers
Perfect selections throughout
Everything was very good. We loved all of our dishes and the amuse-bouche from the chef. The ambiance was lovely. We would have preferred creek side seating but they had the windows open and you could still hear the water so it wasn't too disappointing. The service was great as well. We will return.
We celebrated my husband's 50th birthday at this phenomenal restaurant. The food was creative and delicious. While all three courses were excellent, we were particularly impressed with the dessert course (which was a surprise!). The fig tart was unreal, with so many intricate flavors and the cheese plate was the best we've ever had. We highly recommend Cress at Oak Creek for a special occasion.
Good communication and good services
Best restaurant I have been to in a long long time. I travel all over the country and found this place right in my own back yard. Awesome! Michael was an amazing waiter and the food was very unique and everything was perfect. It was my wife's birthday and was one of t he highlights for sure.
Outstanding food and service.. looking forward to another visit.
L’Auberge de Sedona exceeded expectations in every way.
I am a total foodie and it was one of the best culinary experiences of my life. We ate the 6 course Chefs choice menu and it was a 6 star out of 5 star experience. Thank you Cress for a special night.
Service was slow, and we only saw the waiter few times throughout the meal. We were seated at about 8:30, but didn’t get our main course until around 10.
Great late afternoon dinner. We maybe picked the hottest day of the year and there was no air moving, super hot. Not the fault of Cress at all. Beautiful setting, excellent cuisine, strong delicious drinks....the most romantic setting in AZ. Go after 6:30 in July and dress for warm (ridiculously hot) weather. The ambiance and service were impeccable!
It’s a very romantic setting along a creek. Food was very special. The chef is great. We were treated in a very thoughtful kind way. Service was over the top and it was a very very nice evening. Would love to come often but we live in Florida. Another great memory in this town
Best filet I have EVER had! Delicious flavors and absolutely amazing ambience. It is pricey- if you get even one glass of wine each $300 for 2 people is typical. If you have the $ then it is totally worth it! Great choice for our 15yr anniversary.
Dinner was amazing. The service was perfect, food was so delicious. I would go back again and again!
Perfection on every level!
Superb in every aspect. Maybe our most magical dining experience ever.
Very romantic setting. Super friendly service. Menu looked tasty but was poorly executed for the main course: Fish was over cooked on both our plates. The starter course and dessert were solid though.
A magical evening! Lovely setting along Oak Creek, delicious food and attentive wait staff. We didn't want to leave.
Very romantic!!! Awesome anniversary dinner
Great romantic evening and a perfect start to our week
This place is so good and everyone is so friendly that we came back for two anniversary dinners in a row (9th and 10th). Sitting by the creek it is quiet enough to hear the live music back on the porch and still enjoy the sound of the water. The ambiance is suited for the most romantic dinners as well as high end business meals. You will not be left wanting for anything.
Wonderful place and wonderful meal. Great and knowledgeable wait staff. Great way to celebrate our anniversary!
Fabulous setting. Outstanding service. Food is a little too “fancified”.
Diner by Oak Creek is a must do if you are in Sadon! Highly recommended.
This is a lovely place to eat if money is no worry and ambiance is everything. Price fixe menu where a dinner for two with drinks and coffee is over $300. Was the creek side view and a very good meal worth it. Not sure, especially when this visit they added on a parking fee as well.
Everything was excellent, the food was delicious and the view overlooking the creek was beautiful. Service was A+ and the menu was imaginative.
Unfortunately it was raining on the day of our reservation, so none of the outdoor tables near the creek were available and we were forced to dine inside. The outdoor ambiance is what really adds that extra something to the experience, although we did get a table next to the window which helped a little. We each did the 3 course tasting menu. I had the "crab mayonnaise" which was similar to a crab cake and I found it to be really delicious, creamy with lots of crab. I'm glad our waiter took the time to explain this dish as he said it was one of his favorites. For my main course I had the halibut. I found it to be extremely over salted, but otherwise cooked well. Dessert was a chocolate mousse with cherries concoction, it wasn't very memorable. We also had to wait several minutes for some spoons to be brought to our table and the dessert had started melting by then. Overall, nothing was terrible, but this visit did not come anywhere near the food experience we had on our last visit.
There were three of us that went to dinner here. Man, wife and adult daughter. The seating was great. We were by a beautiful creek. Our waiter was Joel.
Our daughter was not very hungry and ask could she order a small meal and the waiter Joel rudely told her she could go eat at the bar off the bar menu since they were serving off a required menu where we were sitting. This meant she would have to leave our table and go inside a separate building and eat alone! This was the rudest situation I have ever see a waiter suggest! The suggestion was rude and his attitude was rude.
The food was just ok and the prices for this meal was way off base. I have had many good meals at award winning restaurants that were much better and cost much less.
I would never eat here again nor would I recommend it to anyone!
Intimate with person and professional service with stunning atmosphere.
Excellent food and service. Fabulous ambiance
Great location, very good food. Perfect for first date or special occasion.
Service was wonderful!! Food portions way too small...Pricing way to high for what is served...
From start to finish, L'Auberge got it all right. Our seating request was honored, wonderful ambiance, superb service, and fabulous food. We will do it again.
What an amazing place! Quiet, romantic, and the service was the best! The the creek flows right next to you and the sound of the water is so soothing. Our waiter Coby was the best waiter we have ever had, and we eat out a lot. If you want the best experience with great food then this is the place. We will definitely be here every time we get back to Sedona!
The service and food was over the top. My husband and I can't wait to go back!
My husband and I enjoyed a delicious mid-week dinner. The lamb chops were perfectly cooked and the scallops were delicious. Very interesting selections on the menu but we only had one night to try a few. Would definitely go back but would hope the kitchen worked a little faster. There was a long wait for each course which made for a late night of dining.
Recommended by Arizona native. Be aware of automatic $10 parking fee. Hostess a little stuffy. Seated promptly. Welcomed by very personable waiter. No alla carte menu. 3 or 4 course menu only. Setting along Oak Creek is enchanting. Very relaxing. Food was tasty and imaginative. Very, very expensive. Good for special occasions.
Server was excellent! Food was tasty. Beautiful spot.
Felt like food was way overpriced for what you get.
I didn’t really care for the appetizer, to much fried crispy stuff and not enough flavor. my wife didn’t like her cheese plate. My risotto was bland and the leaks were overpowering, although the scallops were cooked well, it didn’t stand out to me.
I’ve had way better meals that didn’t set me back 250 dollars with their fix prices menu.
Incredible restaurant. Truly unique setting and the dishes were all excellent. Bison main and crab first course were standouts. Service was always on point. Worth the splurge if you’re in Sedona.
