Crescent Kitchen DoubleTree Bloomington
We had great service with great waitress and great food.
I have not been sick eating out in many years.
From the start I knew something wasn’t right about this place.
I’d like to remind you that this place is under the “double tree Hilton”. Windows on the outside were so dirty I thought they went out of business
Walked in and found the restaurant no one there to greet and was told to pick a spot. Ordered mushroom naan which dough was undercooked but somewhat delicious and ordered roasted vegetable pasta with shrimp.. I could fix the pasta dish at home in less than half an hour.
I’m writing this review from the “facility” and yet not using profanity!!
I will not be back and hotel as well as the restaurant manager and the chef should be promoted to be customers
Very slow service and food was expensive for the portion. Overall not worth it.
My wife and I try a new restaurant every week. This was by far the biggest win that we have since starting this weekly tradition. Food was exceptional, very beautifully presented and an amazing value. I highly recommend this place.
Parking is a little dicey, since it is located in a large hotel.
Great location! Zach - thanks for a accommodating my group!
The food was plentiful and delicious just a bit overvalued.
Went for Mother's day brunch. The food was nothing special, and because there were few people there at the end, they took up the buffet before we were even done with our "entree" course, let alone dessert. I had to run and grab some dessert off the kitchen cart. I understand that they are new to doing holiday brunches; maybe they will get the mechanics down. But at $30 something a person, I expected more.
The Easter Brunch they did was surprisingly good. I'll admit, we didn't have the highest expectations since it was a hotel restaurant, but we were pleasantly surprised. This was their first year doing it, and it wasn't totally packed, so I'm hoping they'll decide to try again next year.
The only downside is that the restaurant feels like it's very out-in-the-open/ middle of the lobby. it's not, but it definitely has that aura. I'm not a fan of wide open spaces when i'm eating. I want cozy and private. So that's where i'm coming from with that.
Service was good. they had treats for the youngins' at our table as well!
Absolutely loved the eggs Benedict station. Very fresh! Deviled eggs were good but somewhat dry. Prime Rib was perfectly medium, delicious!! Over all, we arrived at noon Easter Sunday and everything was very fresh.
Loved this place! I had the "new" Sticky Ribs and the Deviled Eggs recommended from the bartender, they were awesome! Just enough to share. Bar was busy with a group of men hanging out but the bartenders were very attentive, Dan was great! We will be back!
Not sure what the bar rescue review comment was about from a previous guest but my friends and I really enjoyed our time here! Yes, it is in a hotel and there is a pool here but The pool is huge! Would be fun to stay here and enjoy the amenitys the hotel has to offer!!
The condition of the restaurant was open, needed renovation, smelled like chlorine and not very clean - the bar looked like something out of Bar Rescue - would not order a drink. The hotel itself has seen better days and needs a major facelift. Food was not worth the price you paid - service was good - a bit scattered.
The staff was good but clearly not enough of it. Was the restaurant manger taking a nap??? They hosted a two day training event with 240 guests wih a one hour lunch break.
I made a reservation but really did not need to. The restaurant/bar was pretty wide open at the time we ate (7-9pm). The food was great, and fairly interesting. I had a fish wrap that was very good, and the sweet potato fries were some of the best I ever had.
We noticed that the website said they had an extensive bourbon selection, but apparently they got rid of most of that as there was not much of a demand for it. The waitress did pick one small batch bourbon for us to try, and we had fun with that (the drinks definitely did the the trick)!
The only detractors ratings wise is that it's located right in the middle of the hotel by all the foot traffic going to/from the pool. That, and the fact that some of the cocktails were a bit pricey. Overall good experience for a casual date, if you can look past all the people walking by.
The staff was attentive and waiting for us when we arrived. Our table was beautifully set. We loved the food and atmosphere so much we are currently organizing a happy hour.
Great food, good service & a nice Atmosphere! Chicken Wild Rice soup was homeade and to die for! I had the Bacon Wrapped Sirloin and my husband had the Walleye, both were amazing! Great craft beers to choose from and a huge liquor selection!! We will be back!
