Creole House Restaurant & Oyster Bar
Our server was amazing, very helpful, helped me to create our meals.
We arrived near the end of our server’s shift. He was not pleased and I could tell. when it was time to order dessert. I asked to see the menu again. He started to get it then spun around and said - we have 4 desserts and spouted them off. That is NOT what I asked. I asked to see a menu!!!!!!
The oysters were great, not overcooked or fishy, and were very well seasoned. The french onion soup was tasty.
The gumbo wasn't the best, there was no meat, and had a bad aftertaste. The fountain drinks and lemonade were not the best.
Our server was excellent and attentive. By far some of the best oysters in town.
Exceptional food. Truly. Atmosphere lacking due to COVID
The hostess Dee did an outstanding job. She was dealing with a glitch in the scheduling system but kept her cool. Our server, Olivia, did an excellent job.
My wife and I heard great things about Creole House. First time visiting, but it won’t be the last. Great food and service from all parties involved.
We came here for a nice/romantic dinner, although we had a great experience, this wasn’t exactly what we were looking for. It was loud and pretty energetic. People were definitely having a good time! We loved the food, best fish and shrimp we’ve ever had. The drinks were amazing. Our server was great. The ambiance/vibe just didn’t match up for us.
We dined at this location for my friend’s birthday. We were visiting from Chicago and wanted some charbroiled oysters. Since this restaurant was open until 10pm we chose to dine here. The service and good was all great!
Service was HORRIBLE!!!!
We had a great dinner and wonderful service. The restaurant isn’t fancy and has a combination of entrees and sandwiches, so I wasn’t sure about ordering the entrees. The waiter strongly suggested the stuffed fish in crawfish sauce and he was right to do so. The fish was perfectly cooked, topped with a seafood stuffing, served over smashed potatoes, and bathed in the crawfish sauce. Fabulous!
We all enjoyed our meals and it was far less expensive than many of the other restaurants we have been to in New Orleans.
Great food great drinks. Water kept dropping on me from the AC vents. Moved the table and got dripped on from another vent. I would suggest gauging the location of the tables may help. But great restaurant
The food was really good, the waitress was good, but could have been better. Our glasses were empty and it took her a bit to come back. I would definitely eat there again.
Had the raw and grilled and cooked oysters. They were outstanding. Creole redfish and lemon redfish were outstanding jambalaya pasta was good. Shrimp yo-yo was a miss. Crab cakes were below average. Alligator po boy was good. Bottomless mimosa was great. Adrian was outstanding
Amazing food and very attentive service. Outdoor seating is nice
Gumbo was amazing!! Bread pudding was delicious.
Great! I got the chicken and waffles! They were so good! And my family enjoyed oysters for an appetizer! So good and fresh! Hubby loved the pick 4 taste of the bayou. Loved it!
Great food, nice selection. The service was not what we had hoped for but I'd go back again.
Had a great experience here today! My friends were in town and wanted some Creole food to enhance their trip! It was amazing ! The food was great our server (I arrived late and didn't get her name) took great care of us! Will definitely be going back!
