Creekwood Restaurant
We have been three times and thoroughly enjoyed it. They need to get the word out because this place is almost unknown. The food is really good. It's very nice inside and the location is easy to find with plenty of nearby parking. I tell everyone about it b/c I want them to stay in business!
Excellent food. I had the papperdelle, the meatball appetizer, the rib eye and green bean side. Everything was perfectly seasoned, served at a good temperature and the portions were generous. The service was attentive and friendly. Parking easy. I will be going back.
Having been twice now to Creekwood for brunch, and intending to go again soon, we highly recommend it for the quality of the food preparation and the friendly, thoughtful service. The biscuits were superb! We will try the restaurnt for dinner soon, too.
Found this place randomly on Google and so glad I did. Service was attentive and food was outstanding! Fairly small place but as soon as I stepped in, you could smell the freshly made food. Environment was warm and inviting, perfect on one of the Bay's chillier nights. Definitely recommend! Even heard another patron ask the host where he could leave a review because him and his party had a great time as well. Will definitely be back 😊
Great place!
Just love Creekwood for any occasion. I particularly love brunch. Greg, the owner, takes great pride in making everything run very well. I really like introducing new people to Creekside.
We really like this restaurant for dinner but we LOVE it for brunch! We've never had to wait and the food and service are wonderful.
Gnochi melted in my mouth, delicious wine, fantastic wood fired pizza! Yum!
Sort of up-scale vibe but great value and warm atmosphere like a down-home neighborhood restaurant. It's very pretty in the dining room!
Portions are generous. Consider sharing one entre and then enjoying a couple of appetizers or sides. Everything is delicious.
Great wait and busing staff.
Lovely service and food and we appreciated that the owner was on the premise and welcomed us!
Exceptional service and delicious, original food. Easy to share with your dining companion.
Brunch was very good. We had a large party (7) and our reservation was just after an even larger party. We had to wait longer than expected even though we had a reservation but the logistics of the situation was that many people were enjoying their brunch and that many tables were not readily available with two large parties in the restaurant at the same time. The manager was very gracious and bought a round of drinks for the entire party which we enjoyed on a beautiful Sunday morning outside. Once seated the wait staff was awesome and the food even better. We had a wonderful brunch catching up with old friends who had not seen each other in a while. Kudos to the staff for making a tough situation into a great experience.
The owner (Greg) has done an amazing job with both food and ambiance! Great place for regular dining.
Amazing Food. Great management and always adding new dishes. Delicious.
Last minute birthday dinner with the family and it was perfect. A quiet Tuesday night with excellent food in a festive atmosphere. I can't wait to go back.
My wife and I went for dinner the day after our wedding and had a great experience. We met the owner and he was very nice gave us a free drink and chocolate tort after our ordered dinner. The staff was attentive and the wild mushroom parpadelle with Marsala cream sauce was delicious!
Enjoyed a pre-show dinner before going to the Zellerbach. Simple, clean, utilitarian space. Straightforward menu, simple preparation of quality ingredients. Shared a Salad, Pizza (nice blister char) Pasta and a side of veggies. A single glass of white. Dessert. The bill was over $100. not including gratuity. Everything was prepared well and was tasty. Service was swift and efficient. We will return.
Beautiful new building that has a “feel” to it, and involved, thoughtful owner who presides over most of the service. Delicious!
A square price. Go
Delicious food and great service. I loved the Camoretti
Friendly staff, excellent brunch menu. Best biscuits and gravy I’ve had in the Bay Area.
We were excited about dining at the Creekside restaurant. We ate there once before and absolutely loved it. Don’t know if it was just an off night, but Tonight’s meal was okay but not awe-inspiring.
Too noisy. Over-inventive menu items. Lamb chops were tough.
Excellent pizza, fantastic pasta. Knowledgeable wine recommendations
Food is very fresh and colorful. Pastas and pizzas and salads are creative and delicious. Great wine selection too!
The whole staff was so attentive and accommodating. We are so pleased.
Great Food and Service.
Would recommend.
Thanks Greg for an outstanding time.
The restaurant is located in an unassuming spot, and was quiet when we entered at 6:30, but the staff was extremely friendly and immediately won us over (along with the smell of dessert baking in the wood burning oven!). The service was fantastic and the food was delicious. The place quickly filled up and had a lively atmosphere. We were able to taste wines before choosing what we wanted, and could ask for substitutions in dishes, which is always a plus. The fresh pasta dishes were very tasty, and we enjoyed a variety of appetizers. I came with a group from work and everyone thanked me for choosing such a great restaurant. Highly recommend!
Great place to meet and dine with friends or a date with your wife. Creekwood is the place to check out.
The item we wnated was no longer available along with the appetizer we asked for. Wait staff was forgetful and not very attaentive at all. The food we did get was phenominal, although one of the entrees was almost ten minutes after the other four. All in all, great food and very mediocre service. Did I mention it was VERY loud inside?
Sorry that the item you wanted was no longer available. We work hard to make sure all of our items are high quality and at times when something like our Monterrey squid doesn't come in fresh we eliminate from the menu until our suppliers have a higher quality product. We also have sound dampening on our ceiling but we know when it is busy it can be a bit loud. Hope you give us another try!
Food was pretty fresh. Pizza was good, appetizer (gnudi) could have used a bit more marinara sauce, but they seemed to be open to feedback and happily obliged to my request for more. Wine had gone a little sour, but it was overall a very pleasant dining experience. Offered great bread. I’ve also gone for brunch, and their falafels were the best I’ve had, even if a little different.
Great, interesting food. Best beignet ever had.
Splendid food - friendly service. Highly recommend
A noisy place, very limited menu. Over priced for the experience and food. Many better rest.s in Bly.
Hello John, we are sorry you didn't enjoy our restaurant. We hope you give us another try!
Service was prompt and courteous, food absolutely delicious. Highly recommend the grilled Monterrey squid appetizer and the agnolotti pasta dish. Menu items were creative and well executed. Owners were warm and friendly -- definitely making sure our special occasion dining experience was a good one!
Thank you Maggie! Glad that you enjoyed everything!
Met a friend here for breakfast. Service was awesome and they were very attentive. Food was delicious and proportions were just right. Nice area with ample street parking.
We had a great meal, Creekwood was a new find with a very friendly staff
Excellent interesting food mixing California ingredients with Italian-style. Pasta and pizza were especially good. Attentive, friendly service - owner stopped by to say hello and make sure everything was just right. Highly recommend this neighborhood gem.
very good rit eye steak, potato excellent too. The broccolini too tough with unwelcome sauce. Service good, staff friendly, seemingly happy.
Creekwood Restaurant has a nice aesthetic and friendly people. We were there for a Sunday brunch. The food was tasty even though the Avocado Toast was underwhelming. They also ran out of biscuits which were a part of a few dishes we wanted. The eggs were cooked very nicely and the fried chicken was crispy and crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside. The mimosas and coffees were fresh and delicious.
The service was extremely slow. We waited for about 50 minutes for our food (and there was no apology for the wait). The noise level was a little high for such a small place. It was tasty food but a little pricey.
Pretty place, lovely owners, delicious food, smart service.
