Creed's Seafood & Steaks Ratings and Reviews
Early Valentines Day dinner since she will be out of town on Wednesday. Outstanding! The Yellowfin Tuna seared and very raw was out of this world!!!! Stuffed Pork Chop was cooked to perfection! Sam was our waiter and made the experience great. Highly recommend!!!
Insanely overpriced for what we ordered...bread not made on site and desserts came from a freezer...mediocre cheese plate with not enough crackers and no honey....tiny table...I appetizer, 2 dinners, 2 desserts and 2 drinks each $135 plus 20% tip $170.....I’d expect that from a restaurant with its own bakery and pastry chef
I ordered the one of the specials which is usually a smart idea, it was a New York strip steak, now I know it's not a prime meat establishment but a top chef will take a strip steak and do what's best for you to enjoy the cut, break up the fibers etc whatever he needs to do so you will enjoy your steak.
But this time my strip steak was way over cooked I ordered it medium it was extremely well done and very hard to cut even with a steak knife so I gave my whole meal back . And decided not to have them try again since it was early and not real busy why waste another steak the chef was not in the kitchen for my dinner as far as i was concerned, plus dinner never recovers when someone's meal is butchered both of the other dinners were over cooked but we decided not to bring that up at the time and not a word from management.
Which is alright I bet they had their hands full Saturday Night. Needless to say we usually have a very good meal and service is usually fantastic but they let us down Saturday night.
Definitely a gem in the area. Excellent seafood. We had 7 different entrees and 2 desserts. All were wonderful. Sampson was an excellent waiter who answered all our questions and made great recommendations for us. We were all from out of town in King of Prussia for business and we could not have picked a better place to eat.
A very tired menu... with expensive prices. It was such a disappointing experience. I ordered the 1/2 chicken entree. It was served black- completely burnt. Our server said ‘not to worry it’s just the rub’ as if I was eating some new foreign food. As I think of it now, it’s almost comical. Of course it was terribly dry and unenjoyable. Our server noticed that I wasn’t happy and did take that charge off our bill. My husband ordered the Salmon- it was dry & overcooked. My son ordered the Filet skewers- overcooked & tasteless. This was so disappointing.
Old World Charm and Small-World Warmth
The soup of the day and the mushroom soup were amazing! The BEST crab cakes ever!! And the desserts - WOW! Never have I had such a smooth and tasty chocolate mousse! :) And my boyfriend's apple crisp was served with a candle for his birthday - which was luscious! Our server, Sam, was TERRIFIC - so friendly, professional, and funny - allowing us to feel the coziness there. And it turned out that Sam and my boyfriend Randy know some of the same people for years!! :)
I would certainly highly recommend; and we will be back!
It's been awhile since I was last at Creed's, but I'm glad I went back. We had a delightful meal. The food was better than I remembered and the service was excellent. I usually enjoy a place that's a little more hip, but I was pleasantly surprised with the menu options, the wine list and choices of dessert. So, surprise yourself and give Creed's a chance. Tell them Joe D. Sent you!
Creed’s leave much to be desired with all the new restaurants that have appeared in the King of Prussia area. It seems that it may have had the charm of an Inn at one time, but now is overpowered by the sounds of the cars whizzing by along 422. It definitely gives the vibe of a restaurant where most patrons are in bed by 7pm.
Celebrated a friend's birthday here for lunch and everything was lovely as usual.
Our waitress was kind enough to bring my friend a small dessert of whipped cream with mint and a blackberry with a candle since she was difficult to convince to have a dessert! Very thoughtful.
My wife and I have driven by this establishment many times and had grown a bit curious what it was all about. My wife decided we should check it out for her birthday and so we did. It was pretty much what we expected - the dining room we were in had a nice ambiance - little fire place - and the service and staff were friendly and quite good without being overbearing. The place felt a bit of a time capsule - and was somewhat thread bare in places - but ,all in all, it was OK. We found it to be rather expensive for what we ordered and will probably search out other local places in the future. It was an interesting experience - but not interesting enough for a return visit.
I had been wanting to dine at Creeds for the 4-5 years I used to pass by it for business travel. I finally had the opportunity to dine there on Wednesday evening with a business colleague as it was 1 mile away from our hotel. We both enjoyed it very much and would have positive feedback to share with anyone who would want to dine there.
the service was excellent. we were a bit disappointing by the food unfortunately. we had high expectations of this place based on hearsay and other reviews. scalloped potatoes were sent back because they came out raw. they were brought back to the table still raw. peanut thai vinaigrette was yummy.
My fiancé and I went to creed’s for New Year’s Eve dinner. The food, atmosphere, and especially our waiter Sam were all amazing! My fiancé said it’s the best steak he’s ever had. We have been wanting to try creed’s for a while and it finally worked out for us to go, we will definitely be back again!
we had a party of 7 and not one issue the food was fresh and succulent the service was 5 star
our waitress Eileen was a Professional everyone's dinner was cooked properly which in this day and age is remarkable i had the mussel app it was fantastic, followed by the filet mignon n lobster tail cooked perfect as was the Salmon etc. we brought a cake they cut and served it
as if we ordered it from them very polite. definitely will return over and over to Creeds
Thank you for a wonderful night.
My wife and I, and my cousin and his girlfriend dined on Friday night. Service was impeccable. Waiter was knowledgeable and helpful. 3 of 4 dishes were outstanding, the venison, the black sea bass, and the surf and turf. My cioppino was a bit disappointing, as it was much more like a bouillabase than a true cioppino. However it was still done well and was enjoyable.
Much like it's predecessor, The Baron's Inn, this is a very nice place with a traditional menu. There was a nice lunch selection- everything from soups, salads & sandwiches to full entrees. Besides a full menu of drinks & bottled wines, they also offer a nice selection of wines by the glass. Fireplace was going strong & that certainly added to the overall ambience. Staff is welcoming & service was excellent!
Food was excellent but the service was very slow. We had allowed 2 hours for dinner but it took longer than that for a group of 8 adults. I had also requested a cake to celebrate my husband's milestone birthday but it was not offered when it was time for dessert. It was just as well since we had plans to go to another location for some late night entertainment. Just be aware that if you make a special request you may need to remind them when you arrive. Would try this restaurant again maybe with a smaller group to see if the service improves.
Very nice resturant. Service was very good. Noise level was high, but i guess i have to account for holiday parties. The bar was full and very loud. Any way, my only issue was the food. I got the mushroom soup. So salty . My wife and I ordered steaks, both medium. I Was very specific, so i guess thats why they sliced mine up? My wifes was so rare it was cold inside. My steak was cold also but im guessing it was because the cook sliced it up. I came away wondering how long you have to work a grille before you learn how to cook a steak. Probaly wont go back. Lots of choices in KOP.
