Myself and my partner enjoyed the 12 plate menu. It was so hard to make a decision on what we wanted to eat and try, so the set 12 plates was perfect. Food was amazing!

This was a fantastic experience for us from start to finish. We were given a very warm welcome and the food was beautifully presented, arrived at a perfect pace and everything we ordered was delicious. They were even happy to package up our leftovers for us to take home. Generous portions. The only thing I wasn't keen on was the soft tofu in one of the starter dishes (we had the 12 plate vegetarian option) but my husband and daughter liked it. We were extremely well looked after, thank you Crazy Bear.

Amazing birthday experience. The service was excellent. The 8 sharing plate at £30 per head was great value, beautifully cooked and presented. Can't to go back!

Booked this restaurant a couple months in advance for my wedding anniversary. Was very underwhelmed and disappointed with our visit, I’ve wanted to visit crazy bear for years and it’s not to the standard that one would expect. Food was very over cooked - so dry- chicken was dry and even bones were breaking apart- we ordered Thai wings and chicken wrapped in leaves (which is deep fried, seemed refried to serve hence over, over cooking and taste less). Crispy salt pepper squid was just crisp and no squid - when we shared our disappointment inthe dish with the waitress she said it’s baby squid so you don’t get much “meat” . Trio of mushrooms was served piping hot inthe centre of the plate and the surrounding mushrooms were cool/warm , resembling what happened when you microwave food- we gave it all a good mix to even the heat- did not expect that at Crazy bear. Dessert was equally disappointing- lychee cheese cake was bland no flavour, the accompanying chocolate sobert was tasty though. Bitter chocolate tart with pear was very hard/ too cold not the consistency of a tart more like a chocolate bar, and the pear was 3 slices, raw and placed ontop of the tart - more of a garnish than main ingredient to the desert- if I read ‘bitter chocolate tart with bear and ice cream’ I would expect a cooked pear- not a few raw skin on slices. We shared a main as we were conscious to not waste more money on disappointing food - we had the pork belly - this was tasty, cooked well but cold - maybe it supposed to be like that - we enjoyed it nevertheless. We ordered cocktails as soon as we were seated, they arrived after our starters. We would have left and gone somewhere else after the starters, but didn’t want to risk it due to Covid and booking everywhere in advance - we didn’t fancy our chances to walk in somewhere on a Saturday night. Decor was average , not the luxury indulgently decorated venue I was expecting. Wouldn’t return

Myself and my husband went near for our anniversary. It was our first visit to a crazy bear and it was just lovely. It is a little pricey yes but I felt that it was worth it. The service was great - food was lovely and the setting was really quirky.
