Crave Mountain Grill
Home to Banff's best brunch buffet every Sunday from 10am - 2pm, Prime Rib night every Friday & Saturday evening.
Crave Mountain Grill offers stunning views of the surrounding Rockies, while you enjoy a casual, relaxed dining experience that caters to all ages, most budgets and practically all tastes.
Food were excellent, they have everything for everybody;dimsum, smoked salmon ,cold shrimp (huge),bbq elk ribs, traditional breakfast, omellete station, etc.and the dessert..plus chocolate fondue..can't complaint.
The staff were amazing and they go an extra mile.
We're now planning for our next visit in Banff and of course to our favorite Brunch place(Banff Lodge).I have my best birthday ever.
One of the best meals we’ve had while in Banff. We were very impressed by the presentation and we were blown away by the taste of the food.
Food was great. Esp, the soup of the day!
Our waitress made a big difference, Jamie. She got us a table outside in a perfect evening. She was great and the food was better then the reviews. We go back if we were here longer
We arrived to a fairly empty restaurant indicating that we had a dinner reservation. The attendant abruptly asked "At this restaurant?". The reservation was found and we were seated. Drink that should have been served in a short glass was in a water glass loaded with ice and soda water. Server knocked glass of water on one person in our party. She apologized, used our napkins to clean up, but never returned with new napkins or water. We left.
Salmon dish AMD caesar salad were perfect. Beautiful scenery.
Father’s day brunch delicious with beautiful views. Ask for a booth seat.
We were very disappointed in the PEI Mussels. They were grossly over cooked, so much so that they stuck to the shells and you could couldn’t get them out without breaking open the shells with your fingers. And when they broke open you were splattered with the sauce, which was so spicy it burned your mouth and tongue.
Great brunch spot for a family! Tons of variety to satisfy kids, vegetarians and all tastes! Kids under 6 fine free which was a nice surprise!
The food was excellent and our server was very attentive
A great restaurant to have a proper sit down meal. The food was great! The portions, large. The staff were friendly, and attentive. I highly recommend this establishment when you are visiting Banff.
Went for Easter brunch. Food was delicious and variety was amazing. It's quite pricey at $45 per person, but is our family's Easter tradition, so we're willing to pay it. I gave the service 4 stars cause we had to ask for a refill on coffee, but overall service was very good too.
Everytime I’m in Banff in the morning I make sure to eat at the breakfast buffet at Crave Mountains Grill! Such an amazing selection of food and the staff has fanatastic service! Would recommend to anyone
This is the second time we have fined at Crave Mountain Grill for breakfast and every time it is absolutely amazing. The food is so good and the value is great! The staff is always so friendly and goes above and beyond. This is definitely our favourite place for breakfast and will dine when we come to Banff for many more years! Thank you!!
Sunday Brunch is a real treat here. From breakfast dishes to chocolate fountain it's all delicious
Delicious brunch spread. So many unique and full flavoured selections as well as brunch staples. View from booths is quite nice. Price very reasonable considering the food and location. Service attentive. Chef team obviously knows what they are doing and cares about taste- each bite well worth it!
The service was probably better than ever. The food selection, however, seemed significantly reduced from prior visits. Possibly we arrived in a slow period and the selection was reduced to likewise reduce waste triggered by lower participation. Deserts were still awesome and I think the new chocolate fountain is better -- fewer fingers accidentally getting covered in chocolate that then goes back into the mix...
Celebrating my mom’s 65 birthday!! Amazing food and service!!
Celebrating my mom’s 65 birthday!! Amazing food and service!!
was my first time there and from the staff, the waiters to the chefs all were very friendly and attentive and the food was world class defiantely cant wait to go back
Great place for a meal - always lovely huge windows, quiet atmosphere even when fully seated, consistently very good food and the staff at the BPL are super. Off the beaten track which makes it even more enjoyable!
Not the correct address and couldn’t find the restaurant. Should not be on open table
Good menu options, pleasant if somewhat corporate/hotel dining room ambience.
Service slow and inattentive in spite of a low volume of diners (e.g. didn’t refill water glasses until after a reminder in spite of asking; under filled a wine glass (short of fill line for a 5oz glass).
Food quality good although the elk burgers were hard as hockey pucks.
Service was awesome but food was average and the hot items were too cold.
The desserts were AMAZING!
Lots of choices for brunch.
Dollar by dollar, the best brunch buffet option in Banff to enjoy a fantastic Sunday with family or friends
We went for New Year’s Eve supper. It was a buffet with no menu options. The buffet food was mostly cold for $80 a person. Would not recommend the buffet the food was not that good for that price.
Our meal was by far the worst dining experience I have had in Banff in the 30+ years I have been visiting the town. To make matters worse, it was our only engagement for New Years. I will never go to Crave again and I will let everyone I know to avoid it at all costs. I felt as though we were put in an abandon conference room to dine while forced to extract food from a buffet that would make McDonald's look like a gourmet establishment.
Our family celebrated New Year's Eve dinner buffet 2018 and the food was excellent. We really enjoyed the crab claws, and the Prime Rib roast, but everything was great, the grilled vegetables and the beef with the
arugula was yummy. We are not a desert family but lots of different types of deserts.
My boyfriend and I went here for New Year’s Eve dinner after cancelling our reservation at the Keg for being too early.
Unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. I can’t believe we paid almost $200 for two people. The buffet food was mostly cold (meat sitting under a heat lamp but still frozen), some burnt items, and very little variety...
I was honestly really dissatisfied and disappointed that our nice new years dinner wasn’t very appetizing and that it costed so much.
Ambience was odd as well, very quiet, no music playing... just a strange environment really.
I would not recommend this place to anyone, there are far better choices in Banff.
NYE buffet for 72.00 per adult and there food selection was not good roast beef was the main dish and it wasn’t good. The deserts were good and service was good but i was so disappointed with the value and food it ruined the night.
I booked this restaurant for our Christmas dinner. It was extremely expensive and the food was horrible!!!!! The food was cold and dried out. This might be a good place to eat on a non-holiday event but just don’t book it at Christmas!
Great venue for Christmas day buffet dinner for family group. Excellent range of quality food. Plenty of choice for dessert. Good drinks service with attentive waitress.
Not great. Food looked like it was sitting out for hours. Desserts could have been better. Premade a few days before, I’d say. Disappointing.
Delicious and varied choices for brunch. They have updated their selection and have included a number of interesting and tasty new dishes. Service was excellent as always; we witnessed a staff member wipe a child's juice spill not once, not twice, but three times (and I think the third time, it might not have been juice under his seat...), with a smile.
View from the booths is very nice.
Good food. Slow service. Decor in need of an update.
Excellent food. Great service.
This was a last minute dinner with my kids, so we weren't looking for anything special. However, this was not good really - the food was average, at best. The ambiance was very dated, and the service was not impressive. Overall, this is not a place we will visit again.
Best brunch I ever enjoyed for the price, The food and service was exceptional, I really like the free valet parking knowing how busy and hard to find parking in Banff, Very friendly staff, Lots of variety of food to choose from, Hightly recommend this restaurant if you visit Banff.
My husband and myself had a wonderful meal and pleasant evening. I thoroughly enjoyed the Beet and Goat Cheese salad...one of the better ones I have had. My husband had the steak and said it was cooked perfect and very tasty. Our server, Phu, was very friendly and efficient. I would definitely go back for another lovely evening.
