    The absolute BEST Thanksgiving Buffet!!! Very well set up and maintained. The Turkey and Ham carving table, gravy, stuffing, mashed potatoes, and all the fixings! Wonderful breakfast bar, seafood bar, cheese and cured meats and “ The Dessert Bar!!” Oh my! My favourite, the beet, orange juice, mint shooters!! AND everything else aforementioned 🍁🍁🍁🦃🦃🦃🥂🥂🥂

    Great reception, very friendly and professional, Superb seating by the window with glorious views. Efficient and friendly service, lots of top ups of coffee etc. Breakfast buffet easy to navigate and covered most options. Would definitely go again.

    Almost all of the 'hot' food was served at room temperature. For $65.00 per person, this is unacceptable. We have been many times in the past, but likely will not go again in the future.

    Amazing food, incredible experience! Pro tip: Bring a change of clothes if you plan to go somewhere after the restaurant, unless you want to smell like oil and garlic butter (no judgement here). 😉

    We went there few years ago, it was really good that time in terms of food and service, but not now. It is very obviously the level went down a lot... after getting seat, nobody even bother to come ask if you need coffee, you have to ask. The food choices are very limited and not with good quality.

    Overall, we enjoyed our brunch. Unfortunately we were at the tail end of the brunch serving time so some of the items (pancakes) were cold, the croissants and cheese were dried out. Also the food selection at the brunch buffet was considerably smaller from when we were there a few years ago. In the past there more food options such as: sushi, eggs Benny, etc…. We were able to order freshly prepared poached eggs, which were excellent. Price was reasonable.

    I’m reluctant to give a review as I don’t want to give away all my secret spots, but here we go..and this is one of them. I have visited Banff Park lodge many times over the years, and consistently this is one of the best breakfast buffets to go to! There’s a wide variety of foods, mostly all fresh. Their juice bar is great to quench your thirst. It’s all you can eat, which I appreciate, and you can’t beat the breathtaking double mountain view, through the enormous back windows. I highly recommend going here for breakfast ( even before you leave from your visit to Banff). The service is clean and prompt, great value for a spectacular morning meal!

    It was okay. We were there for the New Year’s Day brunch buffet. Most of the food was empty for the better part of our visit. The waffles and French toast were super dry. The big seafood addition for the higher cost was a plate of shrimp and some sad looking mussels. Definitely not worth $36 per person in my opinion. Will try somewhere else next time.

    There were no salads at all. The normal fare (scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausages, etc.) was cold. Even the eggs benedict were cold.

    We had been to the Thanksgiving or Easter brunches as Banff Park Lodge in the past, and while it is not the Banff Springs spread, it is not bad and cheaper. The one disappointing issue with this weekend was the lack of clarity on when the brunch was to end, and abruptly. This was different from our past experiences, and had we known, we likely would have booked a bit earlier as we felt we were being shoveled out and the food (though still plentiful) was being taken away promptly at 2 PM while accepting a booking for 1:30 PM leaving only 30 minutes to scramble. Since we has seniors at our table, it took away from the relaxed vibe in the past, and forced everyone to rush to get food (since we did pay for it). Hopefully, the staff and management might consider ensuring bookings have about 1 hour to amble for food - allowing time to digest and then have desert, etc. Something that the Fairmont knows how to deal with. So not recommended until they work out the booking bugs, and perhaps this is partly a problem with the OpenTable app as well. Will try another venue for Christmas and/or Easter upcoming as cannot rush seniors. It spoils the mood.

    Thanksgiving brunch was disappointing for the price. There was a long brown hair on one of the cold plates of pickles which turned me off. The chocolate fondu chocolate tasted off and not good. Some items seemed stale and redone in the baking/desserts. Overall wouldn’t come back.

    Appalling Booking confirmed and reconfirmed on the day. 2 hours before the reservation we found out by accident that the restaurant was closed. No information had been received and the booking was still live. We checked with restaurant and they confirmed they were closed and offered no reason why. You can imagine how easy (not) it was to find an alternative at short notice on a bank holiday Saturday evening. Whilst restaurants have operational issues there is no excuse for not contacting confirmed diners, especially when you have access to an internet booking system. This clearly shows the lack of commitment to the paying public - very poor show.

    The buffet brunch on Sunday use to be amazing! Now the selection is extremely limited, the table we were sat at was dirty, and the dishes and silverware were poorly washed. The eggs were even cold. It actually was sad because it use it be so great!

    This is a glorified hotel lobby restaurant. We were going to try the Prime Rib which was the weekend special, but we’re told after we ordered that they were out and couldn’t fulfill our order. The wine list was lackluster. The waiter came to our table with no greeting and asked if we had decided. Rated the food low because we never tried it since we paid for our drinks and left,

    We were a bit apprehensive at first as it didn’t seem very busy for a Friday but learned quite quickly we were happy we made reservations early My husband ordered the prime rib dinner and said that it was quite possibly the best he has ever had !! The Yorkshire pudding was amazing and the portions were generous Would definitely recommend this place

    We celebrated Fathers Day at Crave Mountain Grill. It exceeded all expectations! There was an incredible variety of stations with everything imaginable. There were salads, breakfast foods, cheese and charcuterie, barbecue, prime rib, garlic prawns to name a few. There was also a nacho bar. The dessert options were tantalizing. A chocolate fountain with fruits and other items , an ice cream sundae bar, and a huge selection of items such as tiramisu, macarons, cheesecake, chocolate mousse, petit fours and many others. Everything was fresh and delicious. They had homemade sauces and dressings. We were so happy with every. The service was excellent. They also had live music by an excellent guitarist.

    This is a beautiful restaurant and the food was very good. Service was good as well and food was quickly brought to our table soon after we ordered. We had the Prime Rib dinner. Prime Rib was cooked as per requested, one medium and the other medium rare, both with excellent flavor. Mashed potatoes were also very well done and again tasted excellent. Yorkshire pudding was some of the best that I have had. Deserts were also very good. Only issues that I had follow. Would have been nice to of had some good appetizers and We ordered a garden salad and requested Thousand Island dressing which they didn't have.

    They forgot our sons meal but never acknowledged it - just said it'd be out soon. Our food was cold by the time his made the table. The potatoes were bland and the prime rib was overcooked. The fish and chips were so greasy they were inedible. They never came to check on our table and the blinds were left open for over half the meal which made the table hot, and hard for the two of us in the sun to see.
