Crave Kitchen & Cocktails Ratings and Reviews
Very nice food and a lot of it. Wines are very reasonable with a decent selection. The service was outstanding. It’s a nice contemporary atmosphere, but many of the tables are crammed together in the center where it is quite loud. I suggest requesting a table or booth around the perimeter.
I somehow thought my 6:45 reservation was at 7:15, we arrived at 7:15 to the nicest host, I believe his name was Cory. We were promptly sat as Cory didn't mention how tardy we were.
Our server Matthew was spot on as we received wonderful service from start to finish. Our meals were simply delicious!! Cory stopped by to check on us and even recommended dessert,
we tried three and all were amazing!! We actually ordered the macaroni & cheese for Thanksgiving and to go twice during our stay. Thank you Crave kitchen for your ability to have a true staff with southern hospitality, awesome food and great memories.
Crave was amazing! The food was delicious, and the service was even better. Our reservation time was guaranteed and we were seated right away. We were greeted quickly and our waiter was attentive to our needs and special requests. Any questions were answered and special orders were no problem. The food came out pretty quickly and was extremely fresh. I’ve never had such perfectly cooked chicken and the macaroni and cheese was to die for! I will definitely return!
I was raised on grits and I think Crave has one of THE best shrimp and grits in the Charleston area! It's only available on the brunch menu so make a point to go. Brunch is from 11-4 on Saturdays and Sundays. It's one of my favorite things to do when in the area. Love their Bloody Mary's as well :)
A good find .I had a great time. From the nice girls at the door to the friendly waitress that took care of us. Food was awesome. You have to try Mac and Cheese. Service was terrific and the manager Corey was the icing on the cake. He made sure everything was perfect all the way through the meal. I tried to find him on the way out to thank him and he came out of nowhere to open the door for us on the way out. I felt welcome at Crave .
The service was great, and the special attention given to us thru a kok up on my part was above and beyond. The bread was to die for, would definitely eat there again. Would suggest they carry more country selections of wine. We prefer South American wines.
Overall a good choice.
Manager Kory was so gracious not just up front "welcome, hello" but throughout our meal checking in making sure our needs were met. Brenna our server was delightful.
Our meals were delicious we enjoyed steak oscar it was just right tender well seasoned. The sides mashed potatoes and asparagus fresh.
We love CRAVE and hope the new sister restaurant will do well same standards.
We had an amazing time at Crave. We found it on a whim via Yelp and it did not disappoint. We went for our anniversary and were greeted by the manager. He offered us a free dessert and a champagne toast because we were celebrating. Neither of which were expected but truly made our night one to remember. The food itself was enough to get a glowing review. We loved each course-- the Mac & Cheese is a must. The cocktails were different and delicious (right up my alley). Don't let the outside or location fool you-- one of Charleston's best.
We had a very nice experience, from the warm welcome from the manager while checking in, to the quick table seating. Our server was very nice and thorough. While we didn't order from the full dinner menu, the Cobb salad, chicken Caesar salad, and the she crab soup were fabulous. With a couple glasses of nice wine, the total cost was very reasonable and we were out in about an hour. Very good!
This was our first time there...definitely WON’T be the last. The food was amazing, I had the Mac n cheese with short ribs on it, WOW! My husband had salmon cooked to perfection! The service was fast and awesome, our server (Gregory) told us about a very special wine they had that night and even brought me a taste! We will definitely be back!
This was a gem for a unplanned meal. We were immediately seated upon walking into the restaurant at our reservation time. The wait staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and seemed truly concerned with us having a quality experience. The noise level was low enough that our conversation could be kept at a low level from across the table. The food was top notch. The appetizer fried green tomatoes and sweet potato muffins were a great start. My dinner partner had the regular menu item of chicken marsala. The depth of flavor and tender chicken made for an excellent plate. I had the special spicy shrimp and chorizo pasta. It was described as very spicy but not overly so and did not disappoint. It grabbed my tounge on the first bite, but did not overpower the meal. The shrimp were sweet and perfectly cooked. We would order either item again. Portion sizes were generous. Enough so that we had to skip the dessert menu(it looked as good as the other food). We'll definitely be back.
