The MacN Cheese lived up to it's reputation, the drinks were strong and my husband had the Mahi special and said it was perfection. Would definitely go again.
Crave was a wonderful place for brunch. We had a reservation for 4 but 4 more family wanted to join us and it was no problem. Food was delicious especially the Mac n cheese! Drinks were potent and our waitress adorable.
Visit to Charleston!
Our server was courteous, attentive and knowledgeable! Food was excellent! We will be back!
The Brussels sprouts appetizer was disgusting - approximately three shaved Brussels sprouts lost in a sea of cranberries, pancetta, and candied walnuts. The whole thing was deep fried to nearly burnt and topped with a teaspoon of goat cheese. The Mac and cheese (claimed to be the best in Charleston) was bland and super fatted. Everything was very overpriced, ill-prepared, and sat like a rock in my stomach.
We had Joel as a server and he has actually been our server before when my husband and I were just there.
He is very personable and made our daughters first time there very enjoyable.
We were visiting from out of state with our 4 dogs and booked a table outdoors. The service and accommodation they provided for us and our pups was fantastic- especially from our waitress Camryn!!! She was the best part of the meal honestly. But the food was fantastic too and everything was as ordered and very timely. Will definitely return when in the area!!!
A favorite when we come to Charleston. Great food!
We ate outside with was delightful. Our waitress was very attentive and did a good job. The food was excellent. One member of our party of five had a spinach salmon salad which looked outstanding and the portion was more than ample. The rest of us thourghly enjoyed our food. We will come again.
Only a 4 due to watered down Brunch Coffee(Alcoholic) and waiter could have been a little more attentive. Other than that it was great.
The food, the service, and the ambiance were all great. Would recommend this establishment to anyone wishing to stop for a quick quality dining experience.
It was our third time there. The food and service were both excellent. The French fries that we ordered from the kids menu were too salty. Overall, very positive experience.
It was our first time and it exceeded our expectations!!!!
Jacob provided excellent service. We were in and out on time to make our play. The mac and cheese is definitely the best in town and I really enjoyed mine. My wife's salmon salad could have been a little bit more done. Crave has a pleasant ambience while still being family friendly.
It was very nice, but most entrees began at $27, more than I thought. Adding some boneless ribs to meal was an additional $14, thought that was high even though I enjoyed the meal. For the same price as the Fish House, thought the value was not quite the same
We had a great experience! Food was fantastic and staff was great. Our server seemed to get over sat and disappeared for quite some time… but other than that, it was amazing!
Sunday brunch-coffee was lukewarm and waitress wasn’t around to get another cup. 2nd cup was warmer. Husband’s omelet was pretty hot but potatoes cold.
Do NOT recommend the avocado toast.
We will NOT be back!!!!
Had been here for dinner. Really enjoyed the food and service. Do not recommend for brunch. Service was very slow, this would have been okay if busy but restaurant was almost empty. Soup was cold, poached eggs were so over cooked they were hard boiled. Avocado toast had no salt or pepper. Avocado and tomato, were over ripe. Will not go back for brunch.
The food was excellent here! We made a reservation, was able to be seated immediately upon coming in. Drinks were great, main course was delicious, and even tried dessert (also delish!). Will definitely come back when I’m town.
The food was amazing. The server was very professional and nice. He checked on us frequently. We will visit them again.
Short ribs were good - pork chops were not
Food was perfect. Waitress was lovely, super knowledgeable and have great suggestions/honest guidance
Joel was our server and was great! Funny, helpful, and excellent. Food was brought out much quicker than expected. Everything was delicious and unique.
Enjoyed our meals very much. Short ribs, mussels, tomato bisque and she crab soup were all delicious. Will definitely go back. Very convenient to Isle of Palms.
Crab cakes, fried oysters and she crab soup were all delicious. Out of town folks ordered the scallops and were equally pleased. Ambiance is lovely and low noise level allowed us to easily catch up with friends. Two hour meal, never felt rushed, excellent service.
Food and service (by Erin) were excellent. Cost of wine and martinis was way over the top!! Be careful when choosing the pairing recommended! Macaroni and cheese dish is excellent.
Crave is a pleasant, low-key neighborhood restaurant with good food and a diverse menu. This was not as great a visit as we have had in the past. We were quite disappointed that the servers don't wear masks. Also, we and diners at several other tables had to request rolls. As long as masks are needed, we won't be back or urge others to go, even though we live close-by.
Worst $200 dinner I have ever had. $50 ‘ribeye’ was super chewy, $15 ‘signature cocktail’ was super weak and sweet, hostess service and waitstaff were noticeably indifferent. I could [should] have gone somewhere downtown with much nicer ambience, food, and service.
We are locals and always have a pleasurable dining experience at Crave!
Jacob our waiter was phenomenal! Our glasses were never empty and he made us feel like old neighbors coming over for dinner. My husband really enjoyed his suggestion of ribs and he even gave us suggestions for dessert. I’m definitely coming back and asking for Jacob
Place was good. Food was good and service good.
Amazing food, great service, and a beautiful atmosphere. I would highly recommend Crave for any special occasion or just for a random night out. You can’t go wrong.
Short ribs were a little greasy and they need to up moctail game. A little disappointed.
The outside patio was excellent. We have an 18 month old so the nice big side walk and area for him to walk around was excellent. The menu was killer. Food was good but alit heavy for us. Wine list was very good too.
The food was delicious, not too difficult. Appetizer and two salads. $90 for two people. Just seemed over priced. I have eaten there several times and it did not seem as expensive.
This was not our first time to Crave. We absolutely love the food!
Our waitress was fantastic! So friendly and accommodating! Best server we have ever had anywhere. Unfortunately we don’t know her name but she’s originally from Nebraska and then moved to Boston before moving down to SC!
I visited Crave a couple years ago with family and had a wonderful experience. This weekend I decided to return on a trip with my daughter and girlfriend. I wanted to take them to Crave for my daughter’s birthday dinner while we were in town. It didn’t go well, and we left very disappointed. We had reservations, and stood waiting for over fifteen minutes before we were even acknowledged. Once we were finally seated, our server proceeded to ignore our table for another twenty minutes before ever taking our drink order. When she returned with bread, she dropped it on the table and ran off, leaving us without bread plates, napkins or silverware to butter the bread. It took ten minutes before she returned and we could ask for plates and silverware. We ordered salad as an appetizer but it was not brought until she dropped our entrees off.
There was toilet water that had leaked all over the floor. Not a nice thing to step in at all. I don’t think the bathroom has been cleaned in a long thing.
The food was good, but the overall bad experience overshadowed it.
Will not return.
The staff, food, setting and experience were fantastic.
The ladys out from Beaufort, It was very Nice to come out to Mt Pleasant for the day!
Our lunch here was fabulous and our server was wonderful. Everyone was very Nice. They were right about there Max and Cheese! Out of this world. We now will visit more often.....
