Excellent food and service. One of the best meals I have had in years. Every thing was super
Me and my boyfriend were celebrating our 1 year anniversary and we absolutely loved the service and friendly waitress. Definitely will be coming back soon. 😊
First time dining here for brunch. Had the Monte Cristo and Turkey Club. Both excellent dishes and the Service was exemplary.
We were looking for a Nice quiet place and this fit the bill. Good food. Not touristy
Our group, from up north, are a bunch of foodies. We loved the spicy tuna appetizer. The sweet potato rolls were too sweet. Overall ok...
Scollops just OK. Brussel sprouts excellent. Fried chicken just OK.
Mother's Day meals at restaurants are always hit or miss. It's always crowded, usually extremely loud. It was not any different at Crave, but the staff was incredible and did a fantastic job. The food, as always, was fantastic.
With it being Mother’s Day, I believe the restaurant tried to serve more people than they could accommodate. We waited a good while for drinks ordered and then refills. Brunch took much longer than usual. Otherwise good
They were very understaffed for Mother’s Day brunch. My husband never received his food and we had to go to the bar for drink refills. They did compensate us but the level of service was so disappointing. They should know to be well staffed for a day like that.
We were a bit disappointed that we were not made aware that there would be a limited menu for Mother’s Day, considering our main reason for coming was for the Chicken & Waffles dish.
Mother's Day brunch. Have eaten here before and it was great. Today was just ok. Was not impressed at all with the signature bloody Mary. Had eggs Benedict with fried green tomatoes. The tomatoes were soggy and the poached eggs were easy overcooked, almost like hard boiled. We were early reservation, so can't really blame it in being too busy.
After reading several reviews from multiple sources we were very disappointed in our food. It was very average. I had the Sheepskin special and my husband had the Mac and cheese with shrimp. The Mac and cheese wasn’t very creamy(thick) or cheesy and there wasn’t a standout flavor. In other words it was bland. The sheepskin didn’t taste fresh and may have been overlooked. The vegetables that were served with were delicious but the grits were super rich. We honestly believe we can make a better homemade Mac and cheese at home.
We’ve eaten lunch and dinner here. Very consistent quality. Mac and cheese is their specialty and they do it well. The evening we ate dinner they were absolutely slammed...but I’m pleased to say that after some delay our entrees arrived perfectly plated, warm and delicious. This will be a reliable go-to restaurant for fancy comfort food.
Mother’s Day brunch
Love the outside seating area. Romantic but casual.
This could have been a wonderful experience. The ambience was wonderful but I am not sure if the staff and kitchen were overwhelmed or what was going on. We had to ask for bread and water refills and it was a long time in between appetizers and dinner. We had to chase someone down to get another glass of wine. Our entrees arrived and it was apparent they had been sitting a while. Not really happy since my entree was 30 dollars. Could have been great but not this time.
I looked for hours to find the perfect restaurant for our son’s 40th birthday celebration finale. When I found Crave, I found location, wide variety of fresh foods and reasonable pricing. All that was before I brought the birthday cake early to the restaurant and met Jeff, the most awesome manager ever! Jeff was so helpful and gracious to accommodate our plans! Jeff sealed the deal and helped to make our night complete! Thanks to Jeff, Patrick and the chefs at Crave. Can’t wait to return for another Crave delight!
The food was amazing. We just had a bad server who kept forgetting to bring items or timed their arrival badly.
Went there for the mac&cheese because it was recommended from a friend. Ordered the Mac with short rib and it was excellent. We sat outside and it was fairly busy and there was only 1 server. He was excellent but there could have been at least 1 more served for the outside patio.
I ordered a steak which was completely average and the Gouda mashed potatoes were totally average as well. My wife ordered scallops and said they were fantastic.
Not sure if I would go back. If I went back it would only be for the mac&cheese because I think there are many other restaurants in the Mt Pleasant area that are much better for a cheaper price.
Met here with family and had an amazing meal, the service was great and every plate was better than the last!
We celebrated our one-year wedding anniversary at Crave tonight, and our meal was wonderful! The She-Crab Soup is the best I’ve ever tasted, and my husband absolutely loves the macaroni with bacon. I had the Chicken Marsala for my meal, and he had the Ribeye. He is very particular about his steak, and he bragged about how delicious and perfectly cooked it was. Mine was absolutely fantastic! Our server did an amazing job, and the GM came to speak to us. Overall, it was the perfect experience for our one-year celebration. We couldn’t have asked for a better evening!
Great food. Good ambiance. Service was a little slow
My favorite place for dinner and lunch. Service was great, Jeff and his staff do a wonderful job.
Service was really great. Food was very good. Biggest disappointment was the “lump crab cake” it was literally a lump of crab finely chopped. We love lump crabmeat & enjoy the thumbs of meat. Felt like it was a play on words. Would go back just not order the lump of crab.
Very nice setting and servers. The sweet potato chicken in delicious. Our only challenge was dessert. We ordered bread pudding and it was about a 20 mins wait. We had to take it to go. But otherwise a very good experience and the meals were all good. And our server couldn’t have been nicer.
I think this is a new restaurant, so I hope they are still working out the kinks! Their menu is great but does no match what actually comes out. We were a party of seven and our waiter was a great guy, he in no way of a reflection of our experience. Our group of 7 ordered bottles of wine, apps, and entrees. For the money we spent the food took a very long time to come out of the kitchen...we sat at 9 and there were two other tables. Why it took 40 minutes for 7 entrees (2 were the same, and other 2 were also the same) was strange. No one from management came over to say “hey guys, were working on that”. Overall the food was very under-seasoned and needed salt and pepper to start. Two of us had the short rib gnocchi, we don’t recommend. The pork milanaise got okay reviews back but they expected it to be seared as the menu describes, however it was breaded and fried. My boyfriend’s steak was extremely tough (steak Oscar). The short rib entree was enjoyed. As I said it seemed they were new? Hopefully they can work on having their food seasoned correctly. Not worth the money spent and most likely won’t be back. We wish them the best of luck!
Lovely dining on the patio on an April evening. We all enjoyed our meals except for the spiciness of the crab cakes ordered by 2 guests in our party.
Delicious food and the blueberry basil margarita was amazing!
Service was top notch, Patrick was outstanding in his attentive attitude. Food was prepared well and tasted delicious. Would like to make this a regular dining experience.
Wonderful meal; attentive servers; casual and comfortable atmosphere. Totally enjoyable for our celebration dinner out.
Easter supper with 7 family members
We had a late lunch at Crave on Easter (2pm). We eat here often and know the food is great. It was super busy, which we expected since it was Easter. We ordered some of their delicious mac and cheese to share for an appetizer, which turned out to be a good idea because it came out fast. We waited for almost an hour to get the rest of our food. We understood that it was a busy day, but it would have been nice to have been checked on a couple times during the wait as we needed drink refills and had to track someone down to ask. But overall it was a solid meal!
Been here several times, and this was a really bad experience. Waited almost 40 minutes at the table for someone to come and ask if they could get our drinks. Waiter barely came by at all the entire time. when my food (finally) came out, there was a hair on it. I get it was a busy brunch, but there is really no excuse for the extremely long wait times after seated and ordering food.
Family of 7 for Easter Brunch...very organized and friendly staff, terrific waiter and excellent food. It was perfect. Highly recommend. First time there and plan to return soon
Excellent brunch, our waiter, Alex was attentive despite the full room of diners. Everything was delicious!
Went for Easter Brunch - had various flavors of their Eggs Benedict and their Big Breakfast along with Charleston Bloodys for the table. Food and service were outstanding! Fantastic Brunch. Shout out to the manager who made us feel very welcome.
We've had dinner at Crave and felt it was good but a tad overpriced. Took the chance on brunch since its so close and we were amazed at how amazing it was! The service was fast, friendly waitress and the brunch was amazing. We left pleasantly full and talking about how delicious it was. They were very accommodating to special orders as well. Will definitely go back!
The portions were small and it took 45 minutes to get our food.
The food and the service were very good. We will definitely be back.
