Excellent all around service, professional and friendly. The food is consistently very good. It's a go to place.
Great calamari and gluten-free!
Food was fantastic. They do fish and they do it very well.
Dessert menu was limited but still very tasty.
Given I love fish, I am going to become a regular here. Deep menu. Lots to try each time!
For the most part we had a very enjoyable experience on a recent Friday evening. The salmon entre is excellent with perfectly grilled fish and a nice accompaniment of faro and cauliflower. The oyster selection is extensive and our choices were very fresh and delicious. The spicy Montauk Chopped Scallop Roll was forgettable, not something we would recommend.
Service was first rate.
Alcohol choices were plentiful and there are some very enjoyable cocktails.
Ambiance is casual and relaxed. We felt very comfortable. Only downside was we were sat at a booth in the bar area right beneath one of the speakers. Though the music was enjoyable enough, it not what we expected when we made the reservation. Also the footrest had become unhinged leaving our feet to dangle from the stools upon which we were sitting. All in all it was an enjoyable evening, and we will return. Just a few sticking points keep us from saying our visit was a five.
Barramundi Asian sea bass was outstanding for freshness & flavor.
Everything met our expectations. The food and service were exemplary. Nicole and the entire staff did a phenomenal job. We look forward to returning and perhaps sitting inside which looks very nice.
We only ate oysters, appetizers and desserts with three rounds of drinks and came away stuffed and happy.
Amazing food and great for Gluten Free!
Food was great, as always. We are never disappointed. Service was sub par. Server brought the wrong bottle of wine to the table, presented it, and let a person not the person who ordered the wine sample and approve.
When I tasted and realized it was not what I had originally ordered for the table. I brought it to the servers attention that we are fine with the first bottle because it was already poured out but it was not the bottle that we ordered and we would like to switch it back for what we originally ordered for the second round. I originally ordered 2 bottles of Ugni Blanc.
The server began to argue that this was the correct bottle and saying that this was the only option on the list. After going back and forth about 3 times with him consistently saying that it was correct. I had to pull the bottle up and show what the label said and point to what we ordered. He still then began to say that this was a better bottle, and I wouldn’t want to switch back.
I firmly had to say that I wanted what I ordered and that’s the end of the story. It made the whole dining experience for my guest uncomfortable from the start.
From that point forward the server was very short and snappy with us making the experience not enjoyable. He was not attentive in the least, he took our order and we never saw him unless we physically stopped him. Our table was not properly pre bussed as dirty dishes were piling up. When we ordered extra bottle he would drop them off on the table and say “this is a screw too you can handle it yourself” I don’t know if he meant it sarcastically but it came off very rude after the exchange at the beginning of the meal.
Another major disappoint was a guest at the table asked for bread to go with his oysters. We asked our server twice and another server once. We didn’t get bread until after we were finished with our 4th dozen of oysters were finished.
Amazing food, wine and service. Our first time here but definitely will be back.
Phenomenal food. Super attentive staff. Staring this for my return to restaurants!
Great server—very attentive and helpful. Food excellent as always. Host staff always remembers me which is a great welcome.
Love this place! The servers are so friendly they make sure your happy with your food the food is wonderful and drinks are very good as well.
Oyster was good, the rest of the food was pretty bad.
Excellent in every way
Unbelievable seafood creatively prepared. Highly recommend the calamari, Barramundi, Swordfish, crab pasta. Let’s face it. Everything is superb!
Service was poor; not friendly nor attentive.
Took my sister to Crave UWS for brunch for a belated birthday and it never disappoints! At brunch the $1.50 oysters are shuckers choice but the bluepoints were wonderful. Shared a lobster roll and grilled asparagus and a bottle of Cava- what could be better! Service was great - including a delicious cookie desert for her birthday. The inside dining is great with the tables well spaced and distanced.
Love this place!
Nice brunch. Excellent service.
Great evening with drinks and snacks at Crave fish bar.
Great bottomless brunch, and the food servings were massive and delicious all the way around. Great service as well, would highly recommend!
Oysters were good . Calamari was good
Barramundi excellent !
What’s the deal with fries ? Second time that I ordered and they took forever to come ? Last time I finally got them after our whole meal was finished . This time I couldn’t wait any longer and had to cancel
Really want this place to be the gear neighborhood spot it could be .
Bar drinks are so mediocre and noninteresting . This could change things up . Other restaurants are offering exciting cocktails to go with the exciting food … suggestion to move the place up a notch !!!
Honestly cannot beat the amazing service at Crave!
Wonderful dinner. My salad, salmon and dessert were all excellent. Great service, too. Awesome dining option on the UWS.
Beautiful restaurant with friendly, attentive staff, especially the manager. I wish the food lived up to the staff.
The crab & cheese omelette was good (but not great) the crab tasted like canned and the texture was more like tuna fish.
The lobster roll was less successful. The roll wasn’t warm. The lobster was overwhelmed by mayo taste. The fries were crisp, thick & delicious.
Best part was the bottomless mimosas.
Consistently excellent food and good service.
Last supper …
Neighborhood standard. Staff couldn't be friendlier. Not gourmet but very good. Never disappointed.
The food here is pretty good, though I thought it a bit overpriced. The main thing I didn't like about it was the pretentious overall tone, but that might just have been the waiter we had (for example, how are we to know that the minimum oyster order is half a dozen, when it doesn't say so on the menu?). Maybe just not the place for me.
Wonderful meal here last evening. The seafood was fantastic but so was everything else. Started with some sushi. Multiple people mentioned the rice was excellent which is normally not the case for a non-sushi restaurant. Same for the pasta dishes. Very generous portions of crab on perfectly cook pasta. Charming service and a fair price for the high quality.
Great happy hour. Service was fantastic and accommodating (brought the dog for outdoor seating). Food was yummy although Brussels sprouts were drenched in sauce and I don’t remember then that way. SO happy Crave has reopened!
I always have a great time at Crave’s i usually sit or stand in the bar area first time seated in the back and my server was gruff and rude! But food was delicious as always!
Good value ordering the Happy Hour small plates. Menu not very broad. Cute ambiance and decor.
The service was incredibly warm and welcoming. They were not super attentive but only because they were busy. The oyster happy hour was lovely as was the salmon nigiri. Sadly the lobster roll is an epic failure. The avocado completely overpowers the lobster and it honestly just tasted disgusting. The cavatelli was delicious however.
Great place! Service was outstanding and the food was so delicious. Glad I found this place.
Perhaps the best omelette ever! Perfectly cooked and put aired with their delicious French fries. The bottomless bloody Mary’s hit the spot too!
Seafood was very fresh and so the raw bar is good but the cooked food is not good at all.
Always a positive experience. Staff is attentive and warm and food was amazing.
Noisy. Overpriced. Quality was hit or miss. Great waitress, disappointing otherwise.
