Excellent as always. Great food and service. Good luck bbn to all over the next few months.
Everything was great with our meal. Unfortunately I don't think the restaurant was up to par protecting against Covid-19 as other restaurants. Servers were not wearing gloves. I didn't see extra attention being paid to cleaning around the restaurant.
If you sit upstairs it's quiet. If you sit in the bar area you compete with the music coming over the loudspeakers. Your choice. The Happy Hour oyster selection is outstanding.
Love hastily hiour!
Amazing fresh seafood raw and cooked!!!
Birthday celebration
Service was very nice but obviously busy with other tables. Never poured our wine, we had to. We didn’t order dessert because it took too long to ask us. We love Crave but give waiters less tables unless they can manage more.
Good food , our waiter with British accent , was knowledgeable, attentive and personable .
Their signature soup tasted bland, was fine after I added tons of salt, but nothing special. Branzino was over flavored with some sauce that completely overwhelmed fish. Brussels sprouts, same thing, this chorizo sauce I think that was really overpowering. Everyone else’s dishes were mediocre, nothing special. Table had the lamb burger, pasta dish, salmon on lentils, and no one said they loved their dish. My drink was good, the November Rain, but not good enough to go back. Chocolate chip cookie was great. Really expensive to not love anything that was dished out. Too bad, because the place is nice, and concept of sustainable food, farming, etc. is great, but missing the mark with flavors. Sorry...
Went for brunch, the Bloody Mary was absolutely fantastic. It’s a very family atmosphere with great food that’s great quality. The service was impeccable and the oysters, omg so good. Came for brunch can’t wait to come back for dinner. This place is great stuff!
Enjoyed the visit, had been wanting to try it.
Rather surprised there were no clams on menu and mussels only on Monday.
Very busy early on (Less expensive drinks), rather quiet for a Saturday after 7:30.
Definitely an oyster lovers place to go!
Excellent Happy Hour! Love this spot!
They only had one waiter for an entire floor of the restaurant. The waiter did his best, but everything took a very long time to get, in addition to inattentiveness due to lack of staff.
The manager was awful, and did nothing to help the situation, but blame us for complaining.
Very poor way to manage a restaurant.
Horrible experience. Screaming and uncontrolled children next to us ruined every part of the evening. A complete disaster to $250.00 (including a generous gratuity even with the disaster). Food was actually wonderful but no gesture or effort at all to help.
We had ordered and entre just prior to deciding we couldn’t take it any more. I told them to keep it - they made us take it and pay for it.
Pathetic and the worst.
John
Ideal for fish lovers.
Cocktails are great, seasonal and original.
Portions are plenty for European standards and quality is always there
Perfect for a romantic dinner with champagne and oysters
Killer happy hour. Seafood and drinks
First time for brunch.
Homely, cozy vibes. Nice set up. Breakfast tacos were v good. Bottomless brunch is a good deal but service can be delayed during peak times. Fried fish is to die for. Hosts were the best and the booths in the back are super cute and comfy.
The langoustine special was delicious but the lobster curry was way too salty and lacked flavor. The calamari appetizer was also so so and needed lemon desperately.
Awesome food (lobster curry & whole branzino) and great staff
James, our waiter, made our experience at Crave a fun time. Very patient in explaining the raw bar choices and the beers. We've eaten there many times and they are always consistent in their excellent service and food.
Best happy hour ever. Brussel sprouts are awesome also!
I love CFB it's always delicious and enjoyable. Service is terrific. I was there on Sunday for dinner with some friends who also love the restaurant, for the oysters of course but also for the cauliflower soup. The soup it's a staple of CFB and we were very disappointed when it didn't see it in the menu and the waiter told us that is was removed, replaced by another one. We tasted the new one, I think it was zucchini or butternut. It was ok, nothing memorable, it would never compare with the cauliflower soup. Please bring back! Thanks.
Came for a Sunday dinner (didn't realize their awesome $40 Sunday dinner deal with $35 bottles of wine) with a group of 5. We even added a friend and they brought a 6th chair with no fuss. The service and food were great. I was so pleasantly surprised and will definitely come back again!
Always wonderful seafood and the $1 oysters are terrific
Service started well, ended poorly. Really impacted our overall experience when waitress acted like she wanted to get rid of us.
Best oysters fresh and sweet.
Best grilled bronzino
This really was a delight from the first cocktail and appetizer to the dessert! Crave far surpassed our expectations from start to finish! This will be a regular visit on our annual trip to NYC.
The food was OK...Calamari..was undercooked...Fish I ordered was cooked as per my instructions...(though bland)..However when I declined the vegetable that was served standard with that menu item..no attempt to offer a substitute was made...Desserts were very good...(Best tasting decaffeinated coffee I ever had...)..
What made this a great experience was the staff...from the young lady ..(Melissa?)..who allowed us to switch from a table to a booth..who remembered our anniversary To Taylor..(?).. our server who bent over backward...
This was a great example of staff making up for the food shortcomings
Arrived at 6 and was told about both the regular and the happy hour menu. Lovely to have both to choose from with a friend.
Food was great!
This is a really wonderful place to grab brunch, the interior is so pretty, everyone has enough space between tables and it's not too loud. Food is yummy and fresh, came very quickly, drinks took a while but I think they were a little understaffed - servers were very friendly and apologetic.
great food, and amazing service
our favorite new place to go
The food is consistently delicious that is why we keep returning again and again.
The food here is RIDICULOUSLY GOOD. I particularly love the miso-glazed Barramundi. And I love that they have so gluten-free options app, entrée, and dessert options--especially the chocolate peanut butter cake with honey ice cream. At many places, if you're GF, you get offered gelato. But there are MANY options here. :)
Additionally, it feels good to support a B-Corp, which is a designation that is very hard to earn and means the restaurant is doing business in a sustainable, eco, environmentally friendly, socially conscious way. From how they fish to how they source to how they treat their staff to the fact that their straws are made from corn...thoughtful and careful and kind.
I'm at a point where I feel like every dollar I spend is a vote I cast for the kind of world I want to see and it feels good to support such a good business, in addition to enjoying such a DELICIOUS menu.
HIGHLY recommend.
The waitress was awesome, I really wanted an entree with fried oysters, she made it happen!!!
The oysters are delicious! The service was also excellent.
Excelente food and ambience We’ll ve va k echen un new York
Love the happy hour!
The food was exceptional and we got truly personal service from Emily, our server, and from Kerry, the manager. Both were very attentive and accommodating. Highly recommended!
