Warm welcoming atmosphere Great Happy hour fantastic food and drink
Anniversary with my wife
Disappointing. We went to Crave Fishbar for a birthday dinner based upon the good reviews from Open Table. The small piece of salmon came out partially cooked. While that was returned to the kitchen, the vegetables were left on the table to get cold. The $30+ filet mignon was small and tough. Our waitress was fine but had too many tables. However, the birthday dessert was lovely. (I had eaten at Crave Fishbar on the UES several years ago and it was a good experience. This was not.)
Excellent seafood with an emphasis on sustainability.
Our server James was absolutely smazing
4-6pm raw bar happy hour is worth every cent for $1 oysters! 1/2 dozen littleneck clams and East Dennis oysters were the highlights.
Dinner service starts at 4:30pm.
Our waiter sent out the wrong appetizer but happily replaced it with the correct order at no extra charge.
Great service and friendly staff, casual environment, and kid friendly restaurant. Very accommodating and would definitely return.
Nothing special. Nice atmosphere but an obvious menu and average, fairly bland food. You can cook a better meal at home.
One criticism, the soup with oyster was salty
Phenomenal server and every dish was outstanding! I love this restaurant!
Fresh and rich variety of Raw Oysters are must-haves. Fish with Miso, one of Entrees, was so nice, which I have never enjoyed this taste in any restaurant in NYC.
We had a great time at Crave Fishbar uptown. The fish are fresh and sustainable. All the courses were yummy and inventive. The waitstaff was very friendly and informative. Could not have been a better experience.
We had so much fun! Great service and a variety of choices on the menu! Will definitely go back!
Staff is always friendly, welcoming and helpful. I value having this wonderful seafood restaurant in my neighborhood.
We had tried both locations and loved both. the food always fresh and services always wonderful.
Went for New Years eve dinner and was very disappointed after reading many good reviews. Food was mediocre. Dinner for 2 with drinks was almost $400, would have enjoyed 2 slices of good pizza more and would have saved a bundle.
Amazing food and great service! Perfect for a romantic evening!
Early New Years Eve celebration and totally wonderful! Best oysters anywhere and the service and ambiance is great!
Very nice seafood selection, and the oyster happy hour, $1 oysters with many varieties is great.
Paul was an amazing server. Sweet demeanor and eager to assist and when Kelly took over she was just as happy to be our waitress and we appreciated every moment of it. We will be coming back!
Birthday. Food was great but I ordered the swordfish. Really goo but the portion size was embarrassingly small.
Cauliflower soup was amazing
One excellent plate after the other. Amazing flavor experiences. A must return.
Usually reliable but one main dish was undercooked. The manager told me that was how it was supposed to be but he was wrong. When it went back to be redone it came back uneven and tough. As always the one dollar oysters were the highlight of the evening.
Christmas eave for 3. Best service, excellent calamari appi, poke appi,. Two fillets done perfectly, lobster bucatini with lobster overdone. Service could not be better. Overall an A!!
Christmas Eve dinner before opera. It was amazing!
We had a great experience at Crave. The waiter could not have been any nicer or more accommodating.
The food was really tasty and the portions a decent size. We were a party of four. Three had fish as a main, one had pasta. All were great.
I highly recommend !
Highly recommend for happy hour specials (dollar oysters). Barramudi entree was delicious. Yellowtail nicely cooked, but not enough flavor. Pumpkin dessert was phenomenal. We'd come back.
Excellent menu. Different menu than most seafood restaurants in jersey.
Our waiter wasn't well-informed or attentive. We were there early, so it's wasn't like it was very busy. I might go back but given the number of good choices on Amsterdam Ave, I'd probably go something else.
Delicious food. Great service. Our waiter Eric was Outstanding and his recommendations were spot on. Great menu selection.
Brunch at Crave Fishbar was very good. Its clean and friendly. Foid was good.
Fun and yummy as always!
Suprisingly delicious menu, decent, upbeat casual atmosphere, much more than I was anticipating
our only problem was a hair in the cookie for dessert.
(my friend and I split it, and we both got a piece of hair0
If it weren't for that, it would have been a perfect 10
Best happy hour for oysters in NYC. Very attentive service.
I've been here several times for oyster happy hour. Normally, my only complaint is with the speed the oysters come out. That was not an issue this time -- they come out very quickly. I'll be going back.
Great staff, from the front of house to the bartenders and the servers. They are friendly, welcoming and professional. The food is tasty - the new chef seems to be comfortable in his role and his new take on some of the dishes are really good.
Excellent service, and the best happy hour on the UWS. The oysters are easily the best we've had in the city!
My fish was a little bit salty.
