All of the dishes were very good but the restaurant is too expensive- especially the appetizer portions which were quite tasty but too small for the price.
Wonderful cocktails, rose, and food! Attentive service and fresh ingredients
Great food. Fun vibe. Midtown star
Nancy was awesome!
Very nice casual atmosphere that I like.
I had mussels, raw oysters and squid ink pasta, all delicious.
Good selection of wine.
Our waiter was so attentive and knew the menu so well. Awesome recommendations. Next time we are back in NYC. We will be back!
Fantastic fresh seafood and great wine. The service was outstanding and the value excellent.
Great oysters $1@ piece 5-6:45. Barramundi entree outstanding . Fish tacos delicious. Such a terrific find!
Hostess was very rude.
Especially loud. Will not be back. Bring earplugs and Tylenol.
real cool place to be, good food, very friendly ambiance.
Awesome seafood. Best oyster selection. Lobster curry to die for. They do often run out of things. At last visit they had no island creek oysters or Pisco left.
This was my first time to Crave. I walk by this place regularly and it is always packed during happy hour... now I know why! The oysters were great, drinks were decently priced, and they did everything they could to fit our oversized group (a couple extra people showed up). We will be back with a smaller group next time!
Enjoyed the happy hour oysters. It was a great deal at $1 a piece. Other food was tasty as well. It was very crowded on a Friday night so getting the oysters was understandibly slow. You can only order a dozen at a time if 1-2 people. Would go back for happy hour.
what a giant disappointment. While I have been at this restaurant a half dozen times, usually for their oyster happy hour, we sat in a booth near the bar on the first floor. Something from the ceiling started to drip into our food. we tried to alert the Maitre D and we were told he was busy. By the time someone came by, food was ruined. The server offered to take the items that had been watered off the bill, never did. the main course took so long to come out, we tried to cancel it and was told we cannot. I recommend the bar seating for the oyster happy hour but service is awful and shockingly overpriced. Wont be returning
Great menu with extensive cocktail list. Excited to go back and try more
Waitress was great & helpful, but was disappointed that I wasn't able to partake in the Oyster HH as it ends by 6:45pm, not 7pm. I shall get there earlier next time!
Doller oyster happy hours with a slew of other cocktails, wine and small plates. Love the atmosphere! It's a great restaurant with a lot of charm.
FANTASTIC! From the time we were greeted, seated, watered, and cocktailed, we felt very cared for and catered to. The entire experience was positive. Our servers Joshua and Ana were incredibly attentive, knowledgable and fun. We shared the yummy kale salad, and I ordered from the raw bar for my main course - my husband ordered from the main menu - yet our orders were perfectly timed. Do yourself a favor and grab a bite here. There is street dining options, indoor options, bar options and on the 2nd floor there is a special and magical outdoor veranda outside and inside there's a raw bar and great seating...good vibes, lighting and music too. - We loved it. - Ingrid and Karl!
I went for my friends birthday-party of 3. Ambiance was nice felt like you were in an old nautical saloon. Raw bar and seafood selection okay. I ordered the squid ink spaghetti with the shrimp. I asked if it were possible to add lobster and was not due to the lobsters being already cooked... The food is creative but over compensated with too much spice where you lose the natural flavors! Overall food and cocktails were good. Service not so much(wasn’t busy on a Sunday evening). The waiter was unattractive. I would go back only because I love squid ink pasta. Not for the service.
Fresh seafood that is prepared well with interesting and tasty flavors
We were there on a Thursday night. Upon arrival, we saw a couple of empty tables, but were told they were "for reservations only" and were told to wait. While waiting, I made an Open Table reservation on the phone, and once I showed them that, we were shown to a table. To start with, I ordered a glass of wine. Twenty five minutes and a couple of inquiries later, still no wine. The waiter, Jordan, said: "I can show you where it is!" He pointed to the computer: "It's in the system!" Unfortunately I cannot drink computer wine. He then said that everyone else has also been waiting a long time. When I asked for the manager, the wine was immediately delivered. Food (which were good) and check also came slowly. Despite the good food and an apologetic manager, I will not likely come back due to the painfully slow service.
Food took 1.5 hours to get to us.
We went for happy hour which had $1 oysters. They require u to finish them before u can order another round. We were only able to order 2 rounds, the 2nd order took a long time to come out. We also had watermelon sangria, French fries, Brussels sprouts n calamari
Food was excellent and the happy hour oysters were very good value.
Another great dinner at Crave. Happy hour always provides a great deal on oysters and appetizers. Food is excellent and service is very good as well. The outdoor upstairs balcony seating is great on a nice summer day too.
The food is good and we’ve been here several times. But tonight the service was indifferent at best. They had the air conditioning blasting and the people in our party were literally shivering. After asking our server three times if the air could be turned down a bit my husband asked the manager. They turned the air off for 5 minutes and then cranked it back up again. We also asked for rice to go with the Lobster curry. They forgot about it. We had to wait an extra 15 minutes to get the rice to go with the curry. They didn’t even apologize. Unfortunately, crave demonstrated tonight that they don’t care about losing repeat customers. Interesting business model.
What a treat! We met friends for a pre-4th of July fireworks dinner. Such a great vibe. Service was excellent and not overbearing. They kept us hydrated and never lacking for beer/wine. So pleasant! Food was great....really fresh and wonderfully prepared. And this foursome is quite the picky bunch! ALready making plans for a return.
The delicious food was so terrific, we're returning as soon as possible.
It was really great at Crave Fishbar. Nice ambience, good service and delicious food.
Great oyster happy hour 5-7. Actually get a good choice of high quality oysters, not just whatever they have leftover like most places
Yes to One dollar oyster happy hour. And great value white wines too. Great calamari. But this time fish tacos disappointing. And shrimp were large but flavorless.
Wait staff was excellent. She helped guide the entire meal. She was knowledgable and fun. This was my second visit and everything was great once again! Food was amazing!
Family was in town from CA. Crave was the perfect NYC dining experience; creative cooking, friendly community vibes, excellent service. Highly recommended!
Disturbingly noisy. The oysters and seafood is good but we were four at the table and could not hear ourselves talk. I don't know if I would go back.
Great food. Make sure you ask for Nancy. Nancy is AWSOME!!
Great food. I really like this place.
The food and drinks were delicious. The service was great and the server made very good suggestions. Overall, it was a great experience.
