Roast beef was good value relative to other places and absolutely delicious and a generous portion. The gravy was particularly lovely, spot on. My pregnant wife asked for edges of beef so they were more well done, she was accommodated without query or concern, all great. Request for suitable space to accommodate 18 month old in high chair met with no quibble, all sorted quickly and no fuss. Only reason for not giving 5 stars was for having to ask three times for water to be brought to the table despite the pub not being busy at all. Overall, lovely, we will be going again!

Food was really good but coffee was terrible, it was undrinkable. Staff were friendly but maybe a bit more training on being constantly aware of your customers.
