Really liked the varied menue and opted for a mixture of bao buns which were absolutely amazing! A great place to eat.

Booked outside for a birthday and left within 5 mins. Outside was closed even though music etc was being played. Offered to open it but there was no one serving and no other customers - so why? Hardly any food was available across all restaurants, about 5 dishes. Absolutely no atmosphere. If you are restricting choice and closing sections you need to tell people this when they book. Won’t be back.

What an anticlimax. The winter village was closed due to weather they said! Closed due to not enough customers. Ate inside. Food decent enough. Staff could have been friendlier. Not busy at all.

Not as advertised on Instagram. Nobody on the bar. Nobody to greet our group. No fire pit/marshmallows and we went airing a busy period. We had to go inside to the restaurant, overall a very poor experience.

Was so excited for this winter village experience however was I’m sad to say a total let down. I booked my table weeks in advance however no need as no staff were even checking bookings but was no problem as the place was empty anyway. The “Nordic” experience was more sitting in a Glasgow beer garden in the rain. The entertainment ? Er none. The stalls ? All closed Festive decoration ? Barely I was sure we had actually walked into the wrong place and when I asked a random waitress where the “Nordic” experience was she said oh I’m sorry I have no idea what you talking about. Place was empty, just a load of picnic tables in a massive shed . Ordered a couple of hot chocolates - made better at home. All round was really disappointed with this. Had a friend visiting Glasgow and promised her this would be great. Had to apologise most of the evening. Must do better to call this a winter village, and I could hear other people saying the same .

Unfortunately the outside area that we had booked was closed so we had to sit in the Romanov’s bar area. It’s a featureless space inside and really nothing special. Had we known that the outside “winter garden” was closed we would have booked somewhere else.. kimchi loaded fries were ace tho!

Food was lovely. Service was good. Place itself though was freezing due to most of the heaters not working and was absolutely no atmosphere. Would recommend inside but not out.
