At The Crafty hound, we love a social gathering and for 53 years, this family business had been mastering its trade to bring local customers the best in craft beers, cocktails, quality food and amazing coffee.

Situated in the historical area of Lambeg, this once hotbed of industrial craft, was also well known in years gone by for its greyhound racing, with the first dog track behind our premises here, and afterwards at Ballyskeagh!

Super courteous staff and wanted to help with anything we required. Food was delicious and portion sizes perhaps one step too big (not a bad thing I suppose).

We enjoyed Sunday lunch at The Crafty Hound. It’s the best roast we’ve ever had out and quite substantial. As always the food was excellent, the staff were attentive and the ambience was perfect. The Crafty Hound is one of our very favourite restaurants in NI. They just seem to have got it right in every regard. Thank you.

Great turkey dinner and fish and chips perfect. 2x Pavlova were disappointing as they had no base and was sugary crystallised. Strawberries were ok.

Cannot fault the food. Each coarse was delicious. Service was a little slow eventhough the restaurant was not very busy. However this would not deter us from visiting again. Will definitely be back.
