   They seemed a little short handed on bussing staff but it was the holiday so understandable. Really cool spot for good food, a beer, and checking out a game.

   They are understaffed. The server, Harper, was working very hard but she seemed to be left on her own with lots of tables. It was difficult getting water refills, and they didn't have silverware and she had to wait for it to be washed to give us some. Drinks came out after food. It was just hectic and they need more support staff. The menu was not as extensive as I thought and there was no beer. It's a cool place but needs some fine tuning

   Food was amazing. I was in Dallas recently, and I would rate this as one of the best Texan BBQ in LA. Service was equally fantastic. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Showing customers that you care and are thankful for their patronage goes a long way... the rest of Pasadena should learn from them.

    I had dinner with my staff here and were treated very well. Gio (not sure if that's how he spells is name) was very attentive and courteous. He kept us updated on how long our food would take to come out and he made sure we always had something to drink. That goes a long way with me.

    Drinks were really good. Service was good. Lamb def tasty and moist. Super loud inside but not sure that can be helped. Big screen in the center had 1/4 screen not working. Brussels and also mashed potaties were tasty, blue cheese coleslaw….i wouldn’t waste any time on that. Was bland.

    Overall we had a great experience. Our server was excellent. He was attentive, caring, and personable. Unfortunately they were out of the famous pretzel that we were looking forward to, as well as seltzers, and also messed up on a food item- he did the best he could to remedy or offer solutions. The ambiance and location were great, food was delicious! Our table tried various burgers, salads, and appetizers and everything was really good.

    There was a Laker game going on so our reservation for 7:30 was more like a reservation for 8:00 pm and we didn’t get to start eating until around 9:00pm. The waiter was kind and did the best he could to make sure we were okay. When we the food came out, the brisket was barely warm and slightly dry, which was a shame because it tasted really good. It’s a good restaurant, just don’t go during a game because customers just camped there until the game was over.

    This restaurant is an experience, the BBQ is as close to Texas BBQ as you can get the way they prepare the food is a true taste experience. The drinks are second to none, an honest first class menu and taste. The service matches the food taste and experience. In one word WOW, proud to say they are in Pasadena

    Our reservation was for 7:00...we got seated at 7:20...our appetizers and entrees came before our table was served our first cocktails ordered upon seating. Manager was useless...after approaching him and letting him know we were still waiting for drinks after more than 25 minutes...he didn't bother to come back and check on our table. Not the server's fault...clearly an issue with bar staffing...and neither the male manager nor the female manager were taking any action to resolve issues clearly happening. Brisket was excellent however. Salmon overcooked and dry.

    The food was good, an eclectic menu of bbq… not what you’d expect. Fun place to go and good atmosphere, although it’s just one big open room so it is loud. Our server was very polite, but maybe just stretched too thin. There were long periods of time we didn’t see him. My biggest complaint was that the food all came but 1 entree and that person sat and watched the rest of us for a good 20 minutes before her food came. That was never apologized for…. They never should have charged us for that. There are better locations of this restaurant IMO

    There were only two employees for a very busy lunch time. We felt awful! They were scrambling and more people kept showing up to eat. There was no help for them. We waited so long for our food and never got checked on. When we were ready to leave, I went inside to find one of the employees to ask him if I could pay. They were incredibly overwhelmed. The management has got to hire more staff. The food was delicious and the two staff members we saw were still very pleasant even though they were inundated.

    A lot of side menu was out of stock. And the food we didn't order came out and there was even hair. I ordered the steak medium rare, but I was very disappointed that it came out medium well-done. The food was served very slowly, and the other branches were much more delicious.

    Place was busy but service was way below acceptable. When we finally had our orders taken and food had arrived, we waited another 10 minutes for utensils. We all sat and looked at our food for 10 min after repeated requests for forks! One manager said he'd go get it right away and then posed for selfies with some customers at another table. The staff was nice enough but something was off managerially- tables were left un-bussed because the staff struggled to service existing tables properly. On the bright side - food was great, prices were reasonable, and we received two desserts for free for the poor service.

    The service was exceptionally poor - especially given that it was not very crowded. The neighboring tables were receiving much better service and more attention that we received. It was difficult to have beverages refilled. One guest in the party was informed that they were unable to prepare her ordered entree AFTER the rest of the party had already received their meals.

    I am not big on writing reviews, but this time I had to really share our experience. We had made reservations for 8 o’clock, and did not get seated until 35 minutes after we arrived. Our server never came to the table until we called attention to one of the waiters, and she ended up being our server. We ordered two cocktails and took a long time to get, again we had to ask for them and they were brought up right away. The food took close to 40 minutes to get brought to our table.creamy Blue cheese slaw nothing creamy about that side 👎 just pepper and purple cabbage. Substituted for something else. Rack of lamb was good. If you plan to go, give yourself at least two hours before you get your food once you check in. We Will probably never go again.

    Pros: The menu looked great and pricing was reasonable. I also went on a recommendation so possible we just has an off experience. Cons: My sandwich was gross and full of fat chunks and gristles. There was a rock hard piece of charcoal like filling. I had to pick through the sandwich after the first few bites. My daughter had chicken tenders from the kids meal and they were large chunks of chicken with sparse coating. She did not eat them. The waffles fries that came with the kids meals were completely overdone. The wait staff was so busy they did not even realize we were completely dissatisfied with our meals.

    I had heard good things about this restaurant so I wanted to try it but I was disappointed! I ordered the Nashville tacos and I was asked how hot I wanted it and I said mild and it came still very hot and not really able to eat. I did have a pretzel that tasted delicious. My guest that joined me didn’t care too much for their meat and left it. Overall the food was a C , but the service was a A-. Unexpectedly, there was a couple dogs dining in the restaurant as well…

    Their service was the best! No need to call their attention when your drinks are running low. The ran out of short rib but that gave us an excuse to try their sausages and they were fantastic! Plus those $5.00 sides - order as many as you want. And their fresh chips and salsa. Can’t wait to repeat this experience.

    Granted we went on a mother's day for a late lunch, and it appears they were shorted staffed. First off, no host to seat you. We waited 15 minutes until someone finally showed up, then can't find our reservation, because they were looking at the wrong time. The host had to clean up a table before seating us. So, no one to bus the tables. Server took 20 minutes to get to us to get our drinks order, then another 20 minutes to get our food order, and the drinks still took 20 minutes after that. The food finally arrived 40 minutes after the drinks. It wasn't crazy slow, but slow enough where some of us wanted to go next door to grab a snack. The food were a little bit off compare to when we been here before. I'm guessing the kitchen is short staffed and everything was rush out, quality be damn. By the time we were done, I think the dinner crowd was coming in. I can't fault them for being slammed on the busiest restaurant weekend of the year, but they should have known it was going to a zoo and planned accordingly.

    Food was so so. The host was incredibly rude. They brought the wrong side so took it away and despite telling two different waiters no new side showed up until we were almost done with the dinner. Nor did they take it off the bill which I would have expected for the inconvenience. The noise level meant shouting at everyone at my table. I will not return.
