Craft 387 Bistro & Bar
No special effort was made for our special occasion which was a bummer but otherwise the experience was good.
As ususl food and service was great. Definitely the perfect neighborhood place
I've been here numerous times for Sunday brunch and it is consistently good! Our server Christian was excellent as well
Night out with friends. A great bottle of wine for $42 to go along with Brisket Tacos which we shared. Quite tasty. My wife had the Lobster Club (her favorite) and our friends both got the Lamb Shank which didn't last very long. I had the Chilean Sea Bass which was good, but not a wow. The sides were good - Carrots, potatoes and for my wife fires.
We finished with Coffee, Cappucino, Tea to go along with a shared warm Brownie and ice cream. Yum.
As usual food and service were great with excellent specials
Loved everything about this restaurant, but the booths were too small.
Love their food, always look forward to their seasonal menu changes
Love the decor and food
Delicious brunch, very friendly and attentive wait staff.
Food was good not great. More of a lunch place. Service was spotty
So loud that speaking at a normal decibel level is impossible. Overpriced. Had the shrimp rice bowl which was tasty but not exciting and portion was skimpy at $24. Presentation was also lacking - fried chicken was plopped on a plate. Red velvet cake dessert clearly came out of a box. A drizzle of caramel sauce was an odd choice intended to dress up the presentation but this was also a small portion for $9 and plopped on a plate.
Delish small plates and mains. Will be back!
Loved our Waitress she was vet attentive & made sure we had everything we needed
the food and staff was amazing
Went on Valentine’s Day so packed as expected. Had to wait about 20 minutes for our cocktail. We were almost done with first course when drinks served. Not a good start. Onion soup wonderful. Wedge salad delicious. Steak frites ok not amazing. Shrimp bowl excellent. Manager was lovely and very attentive to tables. Loved the menu and will go back.
We celebrated Valentine’s Day with good friends and thought we’d try Craft 387 and we were very pleasantly surprised how wonderful the entire meal was! We ordered the calamari with sweet chili sauce (spectacular), the hummus with pita triangles & a yummy side of cucumber, tomato, and avocado. The Reuben spring rolls had a delicious filling but was a little but greasy on the outside. As for the steaks, the 10 oz filet mignon two people ordered was perfectly cooked and the skirt steak was excellent as well. All the sides served with the entrees were very good. For dessert we had the red velvet cake and crepe brûlée. We liked the cake better than the brûlée and we really enjoyed the decaf cappuccino!
Great service, Great food
The owner came over and changed my wife’s drink at no cost without any issues
All 3 of us enjoyed the meal we ordered and all three meals were cooked as we had asked
Great experience
Craft is a nice place with a good menu, food was excellent. Restaurant in general is loud and it wasn’t very crowded. Will definitely go back
I would recommend only if a restaurant was needed in this neighborhood. Very poor acoustics - Was extremely loud considering the restaurant was maybe 1/3 filled. The Chinese Chicken Salad lacked totally lacked flavor. The same with the dressing. The cilantro which was supposed to be included, was non-existent. Upon request, the waiter brought miniscule bits which lacked flavor.
Reasonable food and a nice bar layout. I miss some of the bistro dishes like steamed mussels, but their food is generally OK. Its a good neighborhood place, but that’s all.
We've now been here four times and each time the food and service was great. We're long time patrons of Cassis Bistro and while it was sad to see one of our favorite places close, Craft 387 is a fine replacement. Most of the staff is the same who we've known for many years. The food is very good. Great selections and interesting ambiance. We will definitely be coming back regularly.
Just fantastic and will go again and again will recommend to all friends and family.
The new version of Brassserie Cassis is terrific. Food is great, so is the new menu. Only issue is that when its very crowded its very LOUD and you can't hear the people you are with.
All food was delicious. The only I gave 4 stars is those of us who ordered the tuna on salad were disappointed because of the very small almost appetizer size portion. Our waitress was lovely and everything else was good.
We went to Craft for brunch with our family. The staff were amazingly friendly & very attentive. Food was perfect and very good!
Was so thrilled with Craft that I decided to come back twice in the same week. Great food, fun atmosphere, a wide variety of offerings to please any preference from vegan to meat lover. Quick service the only suggestion i would have is definitely making a reservation due to the size of the restaurant especially on a weekend.
Food was good but a bit overpriced. It was so noisy that it was hard to have a conversation. The busboy was too quick to remove plates. Asked if my husband was done with salad and ready to take plate when half of salad was still there. Busboy also removed some dinner plates from table when only 2 out of 4 of us were done. That’s a big mistake. Makes everyone else stills eating feel rushed. Not sure if we will return.
Everyone was very friendly but the service took way to long and errors on a couple of the dishes. I will try again and hope for a better experience.
Great duck. Calamari app awesome get extra dipping sauce.
The quac and chips are excellent ... the Impossible Burger was wonderful, declared the teenage daughter ... the steak frites was perfectly cooked and delicious, said the wife ... and my paella was loaded with the bounty of the sea and set atop a delicious broth with Jasmine rice. The waiter was his usual helpful-self. Another great meal.
5 of us celebrated a birthday lunch during the week. I understand that this was a redone version of Brasserie Cassis with many of the same items only at a higher price. Open Table is showing lunch specials for the restaurant but we weren't told about them when we were there and they weren't listed on the menu. I would have liked to have a roll or even a cracker with my omelet, but was told that I would need to order the eight dollar bread basket. The restaurant is attractive and the staff was friendly. We found the onion soup to be delicious, the omelets to be nothing special and the flatbread disappointing
I checked in and the hostess said a few minutes and then she went to seat us at a terrible table that was for 6 and we were 4 people. My husband asked about a table for 4 in a less traffic area and she said she’s seating another party there but they clearly checked in after. We had a reservation that was last an earlier time. It wasn’t right that they got the table that we preferred. The manager/owner didn’t handle it right. He was then going to ask the other party to get up from their table. Ha should have offered a free app or dessert or drinks. He did none of the above. Def not running back there anytime soon. It was just ok.
The sound level takes away all the good things about the place, needs sound deadening baffles on the ceiling and the walls. Maybe put down a couple of carpets. Conversation at the table was stifled due to the level of sound in the entire place. It was actually taking away all the good things about the place
Craft Bistro is a remake of what I think was a very nice restaurant called Cassis. It is strangely decorated and although they have tried to remake it in a modernesque style, remnants of the old restaurant remain. The service we had was pretty awful. The waiter did not remember our drink order then, after telling him again of our order, another waiter brought the wrong drink order altogether. The food was simple and okay. The service again was poor with other overly energetic wait staff removing plates before food was finished or asking us. The restaurant acoustics are poor and it is very loud.
We wish them luck but won't be back.
My meal was served after every one at table finished their main dish
They did right thing and did not charge the$ 27 for my order.
Good was excellent
First time I had dinner there, it was very noisy. This time, not so much, but it was less crowded. Both visits were on a week night. Service excellent; not intrusive or condescending like some places. Food was superbly prepared and presented. Manager (owner?) friendly, cared about our dining pleasure. Highly recommend. Look forward to returning. Ample parking.
Brasserie Cassis was very quiet when we visited on this Sunday evening in August. Our fish entrees were prepared to perfection, as always, and the service was impeccable. You won't go wrong at Brasserie Cassis!
Delicious food, excellent service, lovely bistro look.
We love going to Cassis-the food is fabulous! Everything in the menu is outstanding! Our server Roberto was wonderful-attentive and funny and kind. The owner/manager always stops by the table to ask how things are going but also takes the time to get to know the people in his restaurant. It is this level of service that makes such a difference.
Nice atmosphere. Food and service were good. Unexpected find in a busy shopping center.
