We had a lovely meal on Saturday evening, and Cornelia served our table. She’s a lovely server great personality and very attentive. We had the corn ribs fabulous as usual but could have been a bit warmer in temperature. smoked beans Absolutely fabulous. My husband had a burger great as usual and I had the Jacobs ladder rib. Best sweet potato fries I’ve ever had and the mango salad was really nice. So we’ll be back.

We were put on a table in the walk way I did ask if we could move but the lady said no but we hen I asked again she checked and it was ok.the service was ok nothing special the chicken burger was so dry though even with a super sharp knife we had trouble cutting through it such a shame.

We had a great meal in the garden on Sunday. The food was delicious and the service was great. It’s great to have a covered garden so it can be used whatever the weather but it was a bit of a shame to be shaded from the only sun we’ve seen for months.

The food was outstanding, the meat literally falls off the rib bone, the burnt ends melt in your mouth and the hidden pulled brisket in the Mac & cheese was unexpectedly good. I expected to like the food but it massively exceeded my expectations

We had a lovely evening we had burgers the best smoked beans on the planet. The corn ribs great. Very good beer choices and wine menu. Really busy evening love Chris front of house, our server Cordelia or Cornelia was absolutely delightful. Love the new menu for the new season our fourth or fifth time here and we will be back again. just a post script comment. We tried the fried banana bread with the coconut ice cream it wasn’t what we were anticipating and it wasn’t what I’ve seen before in barbecue in the southern part of the United States. It was very dense and hard so I think you need to look at that recipe again. Have you heard of banana pudding?? think about it?

The restaurant was very busy when we arrived. We had to wait half an hour for our table to be ready, which we'd booked in advance. Once we'd finally been sat down, food service was quite slow. Even getting another drink was very slow. Perhaps they were short staffed but it did dampen our enjoyment of the evening. Staff we lovely throughout however and food was delicious. I guess we were just unlucky on the day we chose. I would still recommend.

The food was good, although the portions are a little small. We were a big group and so they asked us to preorder our food. Even with this our starters took 1.5 hours to arrive and it was still a while for our mains after that. This is unacceptable to wait this long provided we pre-ordered too. We weren't offered anything on the house either while we were waiting either. I really loved this restaurant prior to this event. It is a shame that it is not consistent. We were also forced to squeeze 15 of us into two small tables due to a booking error on their booking system.

Was seated at our table and the waitress took half hour to take our drinks order and food order only because we asked if we could order! Service wasn’t the best, waited 1hour and 45mim for our main course, but food was great when I came out! I would go back again and would recommend to others as it was busy when we went and might have been an off night! Good food, good drinks!!

As soon as we walked in we were greeted and seated within seconds. I’d strongly recommend you book. The service was fantastic and nothing was too much bother. The food was completely out of this world and we left extremely satisfied and full. We entered food comas and it was a struggle for one of us to stay awake for the journey home. Will be visiting again, table for two tonight ?

The service itself by your staff was very good and nothing to complain there, but the food itself was extremely expensive and the beef rib add more fat than meat and I used to like coming to this restaurant, but unless it changes I won’t be returning. It’s a shame that the portions have got smaller and the price has got bigger and the quality has dropped.
