Absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment we walked in, the service was warm and attentive without being overbearing. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxed evening. Every dish we ordered was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented—clearly made with care and quality ingredients. The oxtail egg rolls were a standout. My experience at Crabbae in Kenilworth, NJ was great! I reserved a seat for Father’s Day with my Dad, 2025. Once we finished our meal, the waitress packed up our leftovers. I asked for the bill and she explained that we cash out at the register. My Father handed her a $20 tip and thanked her for the service. The same waitress cashed us out with a bill totaling $162. My first thought was that the bill seemed a bit high considering my meal was only $40 and my dads meal was $60 not including our beverages. Once we got home, I looked at the bill and noticed the gratuity was included in the bill of $23.64. I felt disheartened because I feel the waitress should have explained that the gratuity was included in the bill, which would have given us the option to double tip her. We felt slighted to say the lease. Do to the distance that we traveled and the rising price of gas, we decided not to travel back to the restaurant for a refund.

Took my dad here for Fathers Day and he loved it!! He enjoyed the food and he was also impressed with the amount of food was given! Will definitely be coming back

I only had 1 problem. They posted that on Saturday’s they open @ 1pm but when I got there I was given a time of 1:30pm then a time of 2:00pm. Other than sitting in my car for an hour yo wait for them to open everything else was better than expected. The food was plentiful and delicious. I’m already plotting my next visit.

My stepdad and I tried to take my mom here for Mother’s day and we will never try to patronize this place again! The staff was unprofessional and we had a reservation and we’re still told we wouldn’t be able to eat for about an hour. When we left a family was leaving and as well and they asked if we had eaten. We told the we had not and they told us they waited for 2hours. I won’t be trying to eat here in the future or any of the other locations!

Took my dad for first time to this place and he loved it! He can’t stop talking about this place - he was very surprised on how much you get!! The food was fresh, hot, seasoned to perfection! One of the best black owned restaurants I’ve been to

The food was good but they didn’t have any sauces like ranch or blue cheese to go with the wings no plates were given for the appetizer and we had to remind them about bringing out our hookah after 40 mins of waiting for it needs more improvement as far as customer services.
