It was a party of 9 people(BD celebration) and Alex-our waiter was great and attentive!!! the food was delicious and we all were stuffed!! Just note that a deposit of $80.00 is required for a party of 6 or more, specially on weekend!s!!
Amazing food and service. One of my favorite seafood spots
I came here with my partner for our anniversary dinner. We got seated right away and didn't have to wait more than 5 minutes for our appetizer and less than 10 minutes for our huge platter of food to come out. The food was seasoned and cooked to perfection that left my mouth watering! The sangria we ordered was extremely fresh as well. We paid with a Groupon, which was accepted without a hassle. Out overall experience was lovely and we are already planning on coming again!
Food was yummy, service was great and the Rum Punch taste like I was on an island beach:) Will definitely return & I highly recommend.
Great food, good service and good prices!! Friendly atmosphere!!
I went out for a meal Sat night, Crab Spot was vile. Save your money and eat elsewhere. Our night out was ruined due to the fact the chef, servers and management couldn’t be bothered to serve us decent food. We waited 15 minutes to get water, 20 mins for a drink and our food took even longer. We ordered the Crab And Shrimp Nachos, which were cold, and I asked our waiter if it is usually served cold. HE ACTUALLY TOLD ME YES WHICH WAS A LIE.
I am actually very disappointed as I went out my way to eat here. I have started to see them all over Instagram and wanted to give them a try. I would say the hostess was lovely!
We have been here couple of times. And the food was good. This time it’s wasn’t great. The grilled octopus tasted like it was soaked in vinegar. Disgusting. We waiting almost 40 minutes for our food. My dungnest crab was dry!!! The waiter told me it’s a Salty and I wouldn’t need to add any extra season to it. It needed the season because the crab was dry!!!!! The biscuits were stale and not good. There were so hard you could have thrown it and knocked someone out!!! Very disappointed in this experience.
This was an amazing seafood restaurant will go back.
Awesome!!!! Staff was great especially our waiter, Alex! Grilled octopus is a must-have! The Ocean treasure as the main dish was super...a lot of yummy mash and veges too...let us not talk about the lobster tail, shrimp and crab legs...yummmmyyyyy!!
place is very small with very little room to move around. food was ok. not too loud. would recommend but not for me
I like that they seated us earlier than our reservation time.
The waitress was nice. I didn't like the fact we were stuck to pay $130 for the prefix menu which was all they were serving on Valentine's day.
The atmosphere was cozy. We were seated too close to the couple at the other table though. The mojitios was good but when the bill came, I was like huh? Good food & drinks but I've had better for a cheaper price.
Tables too close together making it somewhat uncomfortable.
Had a 5:00pm reservation on a Saturday. Place was nearly empty when we arrived. Was seated within 5 mins. We were seated at a booth toward the kitchen. The booth seats were extremely uncomfortable, ripped and lumpy (you can feel the springs inside). There is only one single person restroom. A place that size should have at least two (maybe male and female). Honestly felt the food was OK, but service was good. Probably won’t be returning here. With so many eateries in Park Slope, they should pay more attention to the smaller things (like seating conditions and restroom space).
Great place. Older guy that sits at the front always has a angry face like he hates the world. He’s not very friendly or welcoming, but waiters are great, bar tender; great! Food is great!
We had a great time, food was good. Alexander took care of us, he was knowledgeable. Considering this was our first time, I sent a email with some questions, sadly no one got back to me. I also called on my way there to advise of my 5min delay. Someone answered the phone with just , Hello. I had to ask if I were call The Crab Spot. One we arrived the matradee was un inviting, not welcoming, and borderline rude. When we left we said goodnight to same matradee with no response from him. That left a bitter taste in our mouth. Aside from that we enjoyed the food!
This is my 6th time coming here and I love the food! My favorite dish is the treasure chest. It had some shrimps, lobster tail and my fave crab legs. With a side of mashed potatoes and veggies. Food is always delish and drinks yummy and strong!
Food was excellent but potatoes sucked but everything was tasty
Great food, great venue - Alexander the waiter - outstanding
Overall experience at Crab Spot was amazing from the host tp the drinks to the food!
I came here for a night with my girlfriends just to have a casual dinner. Food was amazing drinks were tasty and the service was exceptional. I definitely will be back.
A wonderful place ... great food... The waiters Sasha and Alex are awesome!
Each time I went, service was exceptional!
Great food, lots of crab👍🏻
My wife and I love this restaurant. It’s the best seafood place in Brooklyn.
Nothing but good seafood and great service. I will be back again to enjoy the crabs!
The service was awesome the waitress was respectful and the drinks were good that I order more than Three ,The Crab legs were well done and the steak was good and I don’t even eat beef .
Food was great! Waiter was very accommodating and pleasant. Atmosphere is cozy. Trendy.
It’s was great
This restaurant was great, the food was great and you get alot of food. Will highly recommend this restaurant. Also will be going back again
I took my husband to dinner for his birthday. He loves this place. The drinks are amazing...The slope and St. George drinks especially. The food was really good. We shared The captains dinner for 2. Everything was well seasoned. The prices aee just a tad bit high. Just one let down if you're not sitting in a booth setting you may not be comfortable. The tables are small and are lined up too close with other tables.
Everything was outstanding, Alexander was awsome and it's close to home, didn't have to drive far
We were celebrating 3 birthdays. Majority of my party was late and I assumed the man at the door was perturbed by it. When the remainer of my party of 9 showed up, we were seated immediately, lucky cause we were close to losing our table. I did not enjoy my entrée of grilled shrimp scallop and octupus. It tasted like they used too much butter even on the rice pilaf. The rest of my party liked their food and the appetizers were great. Good drinks from the bar as well. So after we spent almost 1 hour and 45 minutes, paid our $450 check, the manager came and stated that he needed the table for more customers. i could not believe that ish! I refrained from saying anything to the him as I already decided I would not be returning and would be writing a review. As we were leaving, there was 1 WHOLE couple waiting at the door.....👀😑.... and there was a booth available. I also would like to add that my son claimed that the manager was watching him funny when we were waiting at the bar for my family, I thought my son was being paranoid ... but maybe he wasnt. I regret not saying anything to the manager, I also feel that it would have been a waste of time. As i said before I will never go back and feel quite offended.
Waiter Alexander was almost unbearable, besides throwing towelettes on the table, spilling water between the legs of a seated young man, and wiping it instead of asking him to stand so he could clean it up, then spilling twice again then when questioned what was wrong, replying that he was tired, had a long day, played a hockey game prior to working and still had to work; he told also told one young lady in the group when she asked if they had virgin pina coladas, that she would've heard a blender if they had coladas! The crab cakes, two of them on a platter and each had a different taste..not good; the crab legs and FF were good and bbq chicken. I really don't want to write any more, just know that everyone in the group was dissatisfied with the service and the chef for the most part. We definitely did not want to pay the tip...will not visit this establishment again.
The food was really good, but my boyfriend complained that too much butter was used. He got the salmon New Orleans which came with red potatoes and spinach.. It did look pretty oily but other than that the food was tasty.
I didnt like the food. Bisque horrible. Lobster tail was so small. Didn't enjoy it
this was a great place to eat old bay crabs and have a few beers. Would definitely go back for crabs!
The service is really good, however, the foods are terrible. Over cooked seafood and the quality is aweful. I really want to give negative stars for the good quality.
The food was very good, my friend and I enjoyed ourselves...we will be back very soon
My wife and I love this restaurant. We have come here so many times. This restaurant gets better and better
Very flavorful, can't wait to go back! Good for special occasions!
