Voted "best crab in San Francisco", this cozy, wood-paneled boathouse is home of the world famous Killer Crab (R), over two pounds of roasted whole Dungeness crab. Other specialties include sizzling iron skillet-roasted mussels, shrimp and crab, crab enchiladas, crab cioppino, crab angel hair lasagna, hot crab melt sandwich and seared filet mignon.

All matters considered, the biggest renovation the restaurant should consider is the restrooms. The best way is to separate the restroom and the hand-washing area so that there will no longer a long lineup.

Food was great, and service was extraordinarily to accommodate our special diet. Restaurant a bit noisy and very small in space that tables are adjacent to each other and chairs must pump back to back. But overall, it’s one of the best seafood restaurant on pier 39.

Loved this place! It was the first time we ever tried it. Expect to spend some money here but it is 100% WORTH IT!! My husband loved the crab legs so much ; he almost ordered another round- but we settled for the crab cakes & AMAZING! Also the shrimp, clam chowder & my sons kids chicken were all amazing. Five star reviews all around from all three of us! Only complaint is that the tables are small & basically on top of each other- but this seems to be a common theme in San Fran.

Really glad we picked Crab House from the confusing milieu in the Fisherman's Wharf area. Food was superb - crab cakes, baked Dungeness 2 lb, and fish n chips. Everything we had was very well cooked, delicious, and served quickly by friendly and responsive staff. Strong recommend.

Crabs made one of our people so sick....ER sickness. Crabs were over cooked. Disappointed.
