Had a nice dinner to catch up with friends. Great service and good food. We were not rushed at all
What a great experience. The food and service was exceptional as well as the atmosphere. We will be back.
Love the atmosphere and food! We had a great girls night dinner. I had the cauliflower steak and though I'm not vegan, it was so delicious!
Excellent service! This was our second visit, and all the food was delicious. Recommend the carrot cake for dessert - save room!
This is the first time I have had a not so good experience at Cozy!s.I was with two dinner companions, and my experience was OK. I ordered the special of the evening which came with rice, overcooked to the point of being inedible. That was minor. My one companion ordered a filet, rare, which was verging on well-done when it arrived. My other companion ordered a Malbec wine for dinner that never came at all. The steak was sent back, with the hope that a replacement would come shortly. The wait for it was so long that my other companion (his wife) shared her dinner. Under other circumstance, we all would have ordered dessert, but since we were sitting in a noisy, highly-traficked area, we just asked for our checks and left. This was a farewell dinner for me, since I am moving to Tennessee next month. Too bad.
Food was not good. Overpriced. Extremely loud in the pub area.
My husband and I met another couple for dinner… Great atmosphere and great food!
Always a great experience - service has always been excellent and I love Cozy’s take on classic Southern dishes.
We were celebrating our friends birthday. I asked the host when we arrived if the restaurant did anything for birthdays. He said they had a special birthday cookie.
Our waitress was nice but not very informative. The prime rib & green beans were great but the mashed potatoes were a little strange. The fried chicken and filet were delicious. Our friend’s wife got the $40.00 filet so desert was included. She asked for the mocha torte. When it was time for desert the birthday boy got a cookie in a cellophane bag. No candle or fan fare. They were out of the mocha torte so they brought the carrot cake. Only one of us likes carrot cake! I have been there 5 or 6 times but none of the others had been before. It was just not the evening I wanted us to have. Can’t get over the birthday cookie, very strange.
Hi Carolyn, I apologize that we did not meet your expectations on Tuesday evening. Something we have noticed over the years is that a lot of guests are full from dinner and do not want more food at that time, we have collectively decided to give our birthday guests a cookie for them to enjoy while they are here or to take home with them and enjoy at a more convenient time for then. I hope this did not deter you from future visits and we hope to see you and your group again. Matt Allen
Great food- always have a great experience here
Hidden gem with really delicious food. It really is cozy...the drinks, oysters, scallops and steak were top shelf!!!
Great food, great service
Not what we expected. Went for a special birthday celebration, and they were first unable to find a good seat to accommodate us - it was either too noisy or too uncomfortable (against the wall next to stairs). We moved 3 times - had to eventually settle just to be seated. Otherwise, we were already ready to go. Food was generally not very good - there was very little flavor, and the salad was essentially a pile of leaves with some garnishes but certainly terrible execution and was not appetizing at all. The food itself was not very good - the corn succotash seemed undercooked and very crunchy. That's just not right. We felt we way overpaid for the food. The service was pretty average - no offers for any birthday dessert or anything of the sort, felt very, very unspecial as guests. Will not be returning - don't make the same mistake as us and be fooled into the "farm to table" catch phrase. It does not ring true here.
Hi, so glad you took the time to give us a negative review even after we made every possible accommodation we could for you all four times that you wanted a different table. I really wish you would've told me that you were unhappy with your meal on the multiple occasions I personally stopped by your table. All that being said I will take your concerns to our chef to make sure nobody else has the same negative experience as you. I truly hope you had a happy birthday! Matt Allen General Manager
We enjoyed our dinner. We were seated in the pub. In the back room.. Not a fan for sitting on outdoor furniture and wobbly tables for dinner. Will request dining rooms next time. Food was great. Burger and fries great. Salmon a little under cooked and will request a bit more cooked next time. Overall it was a great dinner.
The special was amazing
Celebrating a special occasion here because we’ve successfully done so several other times.
Our food was delicious. Our server was knowledgeable, friendly, appropriately attentive. The owner made a point of stopping by to say hello and check on us during dessert.
My low score on atmosphere comes from being placed at a table on the porch. In warmer weather, it must be more appealing. But in February, it just felt like overflow. Out of the charming and eclectic dining room, this table was designed for outdoor spaces, not the charming farmhouse style found in the remainder of the the restaurant. Every time another guest used the back door, icy air rushed in.
I’d be more understanding if we were walk-ins, but this reservation was made over 2 weeks in advance with a note it was a special occasion.
We still had a special evening, but I’ll look elsewhere next time it has GOT to be just right.
Very unique atmosphere - feels very comfortable. The food was amazing -- the service was excellent as well. This is much better than alot of the high end, more expensive restaurants in the area. I would recommend to anyone for brunch or dinner!
Excellent service and food. Restaurant is very cold and not Cozy last night. Consider space heaters in winter, especially near exit door to patio. Must have air leaks and cracks??
From the food to the waitstaff, everything was perfect! I can’t wait until my next meal!
Went here on a Saturday night for our anniversary and had made reservations. After a brief wait my wife and I were seated at a table for 2 in a small room with just a few other tables. We ordered a bottle of wine to start. They don't serve bread, which for the price of the meals I find strange. We decided to split a bone-in ribeye meal which comes with 2 pre-selected sides. Salad or additional vegetable etc is extra. When the meal was brought out by a food runner, they didn't bring an extra plate since we were splitting it. We had to ask for it and then they didn't bring any steak knives. We asked for that and they only brought one knife. The steak was cooked well but was not seasoned much. Asparagus and brussel sprouts were good but the caesar salad was tiny. The service is not the professional service you expect for these prices. We go to Jags or a Ruby restaurant usually for our anniversary and get top notched service for similar prices. We will go back to those places in the future. I don't understand the fascination with this place. Overpriced and casual service. Skip dinner and maybe try brunch which is what most of the good reviews say.
The food and service were great!
Was nice... bit a busy morning. Didn’t get fully informed of drink choices. Didn’t know they had Bloody Mary Bar. If I knew, I would have tried it, instead of getting a pitcher of mimosa. The food was ok. Ordered a quiche of the day. It was good but little too blunt. I liked the cheese grit tho. Will return to try the Bloody Mary!
Excellent choices and very fresh brunch. Delicious waffles & chicken, delicious frittata. Coffee was great too!
Food and service was fine but overpriced
Always great food, and service. Our dining room seating was immediately adjacent to their bar and restroom area so the foot traffics was a bit much but on the plus side the live sax player was fantastic. The food quality more than offset any lack of ambiance due to our table location.
Great service and atmosphere. Food was below average at best. Fish was served raw in the middle and had to be sent back. Had their own take on shrimp and grits. Shrimp was very good. The rest was a poor excuse for the dish. Braised short ribs were very good and a lot of food. First time there most likely won’t go back. Didn’t even come close to living up to the hype.
The food and service was outstanding. We will be back soon.
Wonderful meal and great service!
Everything was great! The filet was wonderful, flavor beyond!!
Date night with the hubs
Customer service was excellent. Crab cup and biscuits were great. My bison was not med rare it was not at all pink and was not very flavorful. The potatoes and the sprouts could have been cooked longer. The braised short rib was really just a pot roast but tasted fine.
We had Beef Rib Poutine, Sea Bass Special, Cowboy Steak. All were excellent. The service was also excellent.
Food was really great and the place is special. I'll be back
Fantastic dinner.... tasty food and excellent service!!!
Great place. We go here for dinner every time I am in town. This place never disappoints!
Food and service is excellent, I would recommend Cozy's for any of your dinning requirements...
Nice ambience. A bit expensive for the entrees, given the location. Hostess was not particularly cordial, but the server was friendly and efficient. Excellent carrot cake!
Delicious. Adorable. We went for brunch a and it was very good and fast. Menu has multiple enticing dishes. Looking forward to going for dinner.
The drinks, salad, desert and service were all very good during our recent visit. We were in the dining room next to the main bar area, so the noise level was high but tolerable. Our server, who was great throughout the evening, politely explained they were out of prime rib, the Tuesday special, even though we sat for reservation at the relatively early (for us) 7:00pm. OK, so much for prime rib, so the three of us selected other entrees. Unfortunately, none were any better than mediocre. One of our group had salmon, which she reported as good (not great) but the thick brown sauce was overpowering. My wife tried the fried chicken, as we were told it was a house speciality. It was dry, over-cooked and sitting on a pile of mashed potatoes and gravy. My short ribs were fatty and also presented on a huge pile of grits and covered with onion straws. Just too much junk trying to obscure the main dish. The wine list is minimal and pricey as was the dinner menu. There are better options to explore in the area - not recommended.
Really enjoyed our nite out at Cozy's. Will definitely do again
