Good for Sunday brunch - great bloody Mary bar! Interesting menu & attentive service.
I'm obsessed! Can't wait to visit again! I recommend the bloody mary bar and fresh juices!
Even though they were very busy, we had great service and excellent food. Another great meal.
We had relatives visiting from out of town. We took them for Sunday brunch, and the food was delicious, far better than average. It was a bit difficult to have a conversation because of the acoustics of the room. Otherwise it was a great experience.
We had a wonderful meal for a girlfriends brunch this weekend. Our server was very attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. The food was excellent and it was almost a community experience when other tables’ food would walk by (everyone drooled!). The hostess and other staff were also extremely kind and attentive as well. A really great experience- I can’t wait to come back!
We had never visited, but learned a few things for next time. The older hostess is a bit stuck up. She could take a lesson on how to work under pressure or how to accommodate guests on their first visit. When only offered future advice, which was not helpful at the time. The daily special of Halibut, which was served with artichokes, and two slices of red pepper and 4 asparagus spears was not bad. But when our bill arrived, we were a little shocked to see it was $46.00. I’ve worked in fine dining. My husband as well as our friends and myself tend to visit establishements that are on the fine dining side, and this was a shock to them as well. We even questioned some of our friends who did not accompany us to dinner that night and they were in shock as to the cost. “Halibut” with the look of confusion of almost all of their faces. And this included NO sides. The Caesar side salad I purchased was the worst I’ve ever had.
We all agreed the food was not bad, and if we returned it would be to try their brunch. We love to support local, but this is one we were all on the fence about.
Also, their metal chairs, to which three of our guests were seated in, they all complained were extremely uncomfortable. We would of at least stayed for another drink, but they were ready to go. Due to sliding out of them the whole dinner. The last thing you want is to spend $140.00 on two meals, one salad, three cocktails (and two free biscuits) and be uncomfortable during your whole dinner. Again, that’s where the accommodating of the non accommodating hostess comes into play again.
Cozy's was fantastic, again! I went for the first time for a birthday in February and had a great time, meal, and mimosas. When it was time to plan my best friend's bachelorette party, I knew brunch at Cozy's had to be our first stop. The food is top-notch - from the quality of the ingredients and cooking to the creative menu. Everything I've had on the menu seems like comfort food in one way or the other.
The restaurant is truly cozy and the rustic decoration is gorgeous. I will come back time and time again for all my special occasions and I've got my husband to agree to some dates here as well!
If you know good food (or cook it yourself) and have trouble finding restaurants north of Cincinnati that are worth the money - Cozy's is your answer. Worth every penny. And *finally*, a restaurant up north that isn't a chain and can make fantastic food!
Very relaxing not rushed
Always great food. Kitchen was a bit slow this day. Only suggestion is they replace their brunch “home fries”. Don’t know anyone that likes them. 😳
this was one of our best experiences dining out. I had the Allen Brothers Bone-in ribeye and my girl had the filet mignon. Both steaks were cooked perfectly and the sides to accompany were fantastic. We ordered the crab cakes along with our steaks which were a perfect combination. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a special occasion or a nice evening out!
Love the atmosphere and food , waitress was nice but rushed us a bit. Otherwise it’s a really nice place and look forward to enjoying the patio.
Really a wonderful find. A trendy location with casual upscale food at a good price. My wife and I have been looking for our go to date night place, and we found it here. We have also been here with the in-laws for the amazing brunch and grabbed discounted drinks and small plates during happy hour. Really good for all occasions with a fresh menu in a trendy space.
This was our first time dining and Cozy's, and it was a good experience. The wait staff was attentive and engaging, and the food was delicious and creative. I thought it was a bit pricey but overall we had a good time, and plan on returning in the future.
I generally don't write reviews but I really felt the need to after dining at Cozy's Café and Pub. this was a wonderful experience. the food was out of this world and the service was excellent. At first I was worried that the tables were to close and the noise level high but my wife and I had no problem having a conversation. the only "problem" we had was deciding what to order! Fortunately we can up with an easy solution. We decided we will have to come back again and again.
My family decided on Cozy's for a mid-afternoon Easter brunch buffet. We arrived to complimentary valet parking, prompt seating and found the wait staff to be friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, the great service was overshadowed by the disappointing food and poor overall management. Aisles were narrow and very crowded, making it difficult to get to the buffet. Noise levels prevented any conversation at table. The buffet was in an unheated tent area at the back of the restaurant. Most of the food had obviously been left unattended and looked as though it had been sitting in the chafers for hours. French toast, grits and potatoes were cold and stale, while turkey and ham were overcooked and extremely dry. Even the salad greens were wilting. Then we learned that the featured lamb station wasn't available - they had run out early in the day. Perhaps the food would have been OK earlier in the day, but our Easter meal was a fiasco!
Easter brunch was delicious and the service exemplary. Will definitely celebrate special occasions there again.
Food was great! We came for Easter brunch and would recommend.
Went to Cozy’s for easter brunch. Have been several times and love it. However, they were doing buffet only, did not enjoy this at all. First, we had a reservation however they could not decide where to sit us. We stood in the middle of the bar area as the hostess went back to figure out where we were to sit. She than sat us however didn’t set us up so the waiter came over and asked if we had a reservation and why we were sitting there. The food wasn’t as good as usual. Very pricey and felt rushed. I don’t think I would do buffet there again.
Incredible food and service
The menu has delicious options. The food was amazing. The ambiance is unique and quaint. It was our first visit and we are planning a return visit to try other items on the menu and bring pur friends.
Every time I eat there it is way to cold! Need heat!
Cozy’s is a fun and relaxing place to hang out with friends and family. Cozy’s has excellent food from appetizers to desserts. And the service is top notch. I can’t say anything bad about Cozy’s. The atmosphere makes me think of restaurant bar with a woman’s touch. Highly recommend! Especially the cheesecake!
Excellent meal with top-notch service. I didn't care for the beer that I ordered and the waitress offered to bring me something different (I declined). The food was super fresh and local. We split the cauliflower steak and bistro burger. Lots of good options for vegetarians.
Cozy’s is quickly becoming one of our favorite places for both brunch and dinner. Never disappoints!!
We were celebrating my daughter-in-laws birthday. We had reservations for brunch. We were greeted cheerfully and taken to our table earlier than our reservation since part of our party had not arrived. The server greeted us, introduced himself, gave us our menu and took our drink orders.
When the rest of the party arrived, he took their drink orders. Shortly after he shared the brunch specials he took our orders. The service was very good to this point.
This is where the stars decline. I ordered the Southern eggs Benedict and my husband ordered the frittata. My eggs Benedict was extremely dry. The eggs were over cook, the grilled bologna was burned to a crisp and the sourdough was toasted until it was tough. There was very little hollandaise. It was very disappointing, especially for the price. It was as if it was left under a heat lamp for a long time. My husbands frittata was over-cooked and dry as well. Since we were hosting this occasion, I was embarrassed to ask my son and daughter in law how their meals were. Not sure we’ll return for brunch.
This was our first time in the new building. The table spacing was tight. The noise level is high. My mother in law had a hard time hearing the conversation at the table. The menu changed somewhat. Although the food is still very good, I opted for the Avocado Toast this time. I would not order it again. It was not avocado. It was store bought guacamole and not fresh, because it was brown. I would not recommend that. The other orders at the table seemed good. The Bloody Mary Bar is deluxe.
Cozy’s Cafe is awesome. We got a reservation for a Friday night for 4. We got a call to confirm and the girl asked if we had any requests. I asked for a quiet room and she made a note. When we arrived we got a nice cozy table where we could talk to our friends. Our server Matthew was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was delicious! It’s pricey but well above average. I had a wonderful, well thought out vegetarian choice. The dessert were huge and amazing! I loved the whole experience!
Love this place & all those wonderful staff members that make the dining experience exceptional!
Amazing! Always an awesome dinner at the Cozy - MUST visit restaurant 🙌🏼
We had a party of four and each of us ordered something different. Each meal was served with beautiful presentation, and was absolutely delicious. Our guest had steak - which he raved about. The crab cakes were a bit overdone, but still very good. I had the vegetarian Eggplant dish which was fabulous. The food is fresh, and as natural as possible. We will definitely return!
Great food, service, and wonderful place to sit with friends and talk.
We live in West Chester but usually go downtown or Hyde Park for a really good dinner. We had heard great things about Cozy's so we went in expecting good things... And we were not dissapointed. We went on a Wednesday night. It was pretty quiet because of a snow threat. We started with a charcuterie tray which was very good. I had the filet which was delicious. I'm pretty picky. Jeff Ruby's is the only other place in Ohio that I've had a steak I like as well. My husband had the pork chop and said it was also delicious. The potatoes and English peas were very nice. Nice bottle of wine. Our server Nick was very attentive. After dinner we went the bar and had a couple of after dinner drinks and spoke with bar tenders David and Eric and to one of the managers Bisa. (sp?) Everyone was friendly and helpful. While at the bar we heard a great acoustic set by Kyle Hackett who we had never seen before. Only complaint was no Espresso for an Espresso martini. We will definitely be back. No need to go all the way down town to Sotto, Ruby's or L to get a great meal.
Food & service fantastic! Manager touched each table- great job!
We will return!
After my husband finished a 15K Mini Heart Race, I wanted to take him to a unique brunch place. After reviewing a few places on Yelp, I settled on Cozy's Cafe and Pub. At first glance, the environment is very charming. However, the customer service was the complete opposite.
We started out with a cinnamon bun to share which was good - warm and with with the right amount of sweetness. For the main entrees, we ordered a farm breakfast with toast, eggs, hash, and sausage and avocado toast with no cheese. When the avocado toast came out, there was cheese on it and given I am pregnant and couldn't eat cheese, I sent back the dish. Mistakes happen and I was completely fine with waiting for a new dish without the cheese.
A few minutes later, the dish came back looking suspiciously like the chefs scraped the cheese off. I tasted a bite with goat cheese in it. We alerted one of the managers who took it back to the kitchen. He then came back and claimed the chefs made a new dish and that I was incorrect. This is quite concerning to just scrape off the cheese - especially if a customer truly had a dairy allergy. I'm surprised a restaurant would be that lazy, lie about making a new dish, and then accuse a customer of lying.
We love trying new places and cuisines and we understand mistakes happen. This is the first time where a restaurant would lie about remaking a dish when it was blatantly obvious the kitchen took a short cut.
Although the cinnamon bun was good, the farm breakfast was not memorable given the price point, and the rest of our interactions with management ruined our experience.
We don't recommend this place at all. Consider going to Maplewood's downtown or even First Watch which has better customer service and better quality food.
I also recommend the restaurant trains the staff in customer service 101 and food quality guidelines.
We went for Brunch and everything was wonderful. Loved the Bloody Mary's and will definitely go with the Bloody Mary bar next time. We made a reservation and our table was waiting for us. We had great service and wonderful food. The bacon cinnamon roll was awesome, as was the omelet and parsnip soup. We will definitely be back
The food was delicious! Was very disappointed in the noise level. We were in the back room by the bar and it was extremely difficult to hear. If I go again, I would insist on sorry elsewhere in the restaurant. Our waiter couldn’t even tell us what was in the evenings special drinks.
When I made the reservation I specifically asked that we be seated in the dining room vs. the bar area due to the horrible metal chairs in the bar area. When the representative called to confirm our reservation, she confirmed what room we would be seated in....dining room !! When we arrived at the restaurant we were taken to a high top table in the bar area. While the chairs were not metal at the high tops....the noise in this area is so so so loud you can't even hear the server speaking to you. We love the food at Cozy's and it's the ONLY reason we put up the the horrible furniture !! Whoever made the decision that these gawd awful metal chairs are condusive to a wonderful dinner experience is sadly mistaken. We were celebrating a birthday and NOTHING was done to acknowledge the birthday !! The hostess when we were greeted said to make sure we tell our server...we did...nothing happened. !!
Excellent Service! Food - above expectations!
This was our first visit to Cozy's. Nearly everything was perfect; the food was delicious, the wait staff excellent; the ambiance in the room we were in was great. The only detractor was the type of music that was playing - it was annoying and not at all soothing. Easy listening would have been much better for the room we were in, to encourage quiet, conversation and a relaxing dinner.
Awesome experience. Great service and the food was out of this world.
