Comfortable place, good food and service.
We used to frequent Cozy’s Cottage weekly, then monthly, slowly building a feeling like it was getting overpriced and not worth it. Haven’t been in about 6 months. Today we went to celebrate a birthday. I informed them on the reservation of the special event and we were really disappointed that it didn’t even get a mention from the staff. We requested (on the reservation) a low-top to avoid some noise but were seated at a high top with live music playing. Although the food is good, the prices continue to rise and the experience continues to decrease. Unfortunately, the 6 month hiatus wasn’t long enough and I think we will avoid in the future. The area is booming with quality restaurants, it just doesn’t seem like this is one of them anymore.
We loved it! We had a wonderful time and the food and service was exceptional!
We have been to Cozy's several times and it is always fabulous. Great service, great food, great place!
Great food and service for brunch— never a disappointment! There is a nice variety in food and drinks— I very much look forward to our next visit!
I always love this place, it has a great feel about it inside an old country house and it makes me feel all warm and happy. Came here for a girls brunch and it was the perfect spot to catch up and enjoy each other's company. I ordered the quiche of the day, which was good, but I was expecting a little more flavor, it felt a tad bland. The home fries were great and so was the boozy mimosa pitcher! Service was great like always as well!
I've tried 3 times to like Cozy's, but the food quality is poor to average and the prices are too high for the value you are receiving. For instance, a tomahawk chop is $38 and it's claimed to be 18oz. At most, I got 6 pieces of meat of the bone. The butternut squash ravioli are deep fried and served without a sauce and were very dry. Basically, they are trying to be upscale American. They have the prices down, but the food quality does not match.
Great service...nice employees...good atmosphere! A group of old friends get together every few months and we try to come to Cozy's at least once pr year...we like the feel, the decor, the drinks, and the service.
The place was beautiful on the inside and would have lived up to it's name if I wasn't sitting at a table that was within ten feet of the restrooms, kitchen, and outside door that many from the kitchen used to go have a smoke. I told the waitress after the first person used the door that my table or any near it weren't going to work if people kept going in and out and letting in cold air. She assured me that it wasn't used often. She was wrong. One of the managers eventually locked the door after I again brought it to the waitress' attention, but he clearly didn't say anything to the staff as at least 10 more people tried to use the door. Eventually, the head manager came and unlocked the door siting a fire hazard. By then I was ready to leave. I had enough of people buzzing in and out of the kitchen, restroom, and patio right next to my table. NOT SO COZY. For my trouble the assistant manager said he was bringing a piece of cake to the table. I would have expected a bit more, but what ever. After ten minutes of waiting...no cake. We got up and left.
Cozy Cottage was the perfect setting for our family dinner with our oldest daughter visiting from Raleigh. The atmosphere was great and the singers were really good. They were at the perfect volume and you could still hear and carry on a conversation. The food was also well prepared and garnished, everyone cleaned their plates. The Madtree IPA on tap (white something) hit the mark. Although we shouldn't of, we ordered the carrot cake (out of this world) and it was so big and moist it allowed everyone in the family to have a generous portion. I would highly recommend this restaurant for any meal. The table for 6 in the bar area was great!!
Awesome restaurant! Highly recommend the carrot cake!
Birthday dinner. Great food and wine. Service great too. A little loud
Excellent food and ambiance. Ann took great care of us. Will be back soon
Great food, good service, creative drinks. The biscuits are delicious and served piping hot. Fun atmosphere...a little on the loud side, but not bad. There was live music outside. Would love to go back to spend an evening by a fire pit sometime. Expensive...
We typically have a great experience at Cozy's. However, this past Saturday night was not the case. We had two little children w us, they stuck us in the back bar room which was so loud we couldn't hear ourselves. It took no less than 40 minutes for our waiter to take our order. The waiter was very inexperienced and didn't know a thing about their gluten free options. I have a gluten allergy and they say you can switch out any pasta for GF pasta. This created a horrible experience. After another 30 minutes waiting for our food, he came out with a manager and said that the GF noodles take an extra 15-20 minutes to make. Which I should have been told when I ordered. I told them fine, but please bring out everyone else's food. After another 25 minutes, a different manager came out to tell me that the lobster cheese sauce has gluten in it, and was I really allergic? At this point I was so angry that I said fine and to please bring everyone else's food out. At this point we had been waiting over an hour for some kids grilled cheese and my kids were a mess. They finally brought out our food - mine first much to my chagrin. We really enjoy coming to Cozys but I hope this feedback fixes their issues. As a gluten free person, I don't need to be treated like an infant.
We just got put in a room with a very large party that was extremely loud. We asked to move and they did move us which was appreciated.
Overall great time! Only note was we had a 7 reservation for a table in the pub but the previous party before us didn’t leave til almost 8:30! Luckily we had found a table outside big enough to accommodate us which we enjoyed but if we didn’t we would’ve been upset. Just an FYI for future
First time for dinner at Cozy's and it was delicious! Fried chicken was so good. My husband had the burger and it was delish too. Loved the vibe in the restaurant. Afterward, we sat outside for a bit and enjoyed one of their firepits. We'll be going back soon!
Overall a wonderful evening. Flexibility on slight entree changes & additions and they were delicious. Only slight disappointment was the Caesar salad was a little too dry, lacked flavor in dressing.
First time dining, in the full service bigger restaurant. Loved the welcoming feel, of the porch and entry.
Menu is diverse, with both small and larger meal choices. Our server was attentive, without hovering. We appreciated that!
My friend had the tuna tower and enjoyed it. The crispy wontons served with it, were too greasy. She did not eat them. I had the lobster mac and cheese. It was tasty and very rich. I was surprised that it was as spicy as it was. I feel it overpowered the lobster, completely. One nice surprise were the homemade biscuits. Very good!!
We would definitely return, just to try some of the other interesting menu items.
Great place for a relaxing date. Fantastic food. Scratch kitchen.
We went Saturday morning brunch. The service was excellent throughout. The food choices all looked interesting. Cozy’s sources many of its menu items locally. Great place to hang out.
Love this place!! Love the food and always have a friendly waiter!
Yummy food in a warm and welcoming atmosphere! Had drinks first around the fire pit then a fabulous meal. We'll be back!1
We sat on the patio on a Friday night when they had some live music. Their fried chicken was excellent and they have one of the best side dishes, anywhere, the jalapeño bacon cream corn. We had the short rip fries for an appetizer and those were phenomenal. I ordered a bourbon Old Fashioned, which was solid, and my wife had the patio lunch, which she enjoyed. She also ordered the crab cakes and loved them, but couldn’t finish them all. We will be back, it’s a little pricey, but an overall excellent restaurant.
Extremely noisy when we were there last Friday. We had to scream to hear each other. Food is overly priced. Cute place, good menu.
Braised beef wife enthusiastically enjoyed
The buttermilk fried chicken was very good except the leg was undercooked. The sides included were below par. Mashed potatoes flavorless and corn likewise . Rolls nothing special. Wine good
Dinner salad fresh and balsamic dressing tasty
Great restaurant, food is good but a bit pricey. Service is always excellent. My major complaint is It is extremely loud...very difficult the last two times I was there to have a conversation with the people I was with. The last time I left hoarse from trying to talk with the people I was with at a 4 person table.
Great service, waiter was extremely attentive. Food was delicious!
Great fun and great staff to make our gathering a very memorable evening! Special thank you to our server, Matt, and to the hostess for that evening. You rock!!!
Typically I really enjoy brunch here. Very cute place amongst many chains. Their menu was not up to date so when I ordered my favorite brunch item it was discontinued. Not a huge deal, until we also experienced poor service. Took very long for someone to come to the table, there was confusion about who was taking care of us. A nice waiter saw we were waiting a long time so he took the drink order, but then didn’t come back. Our waitress who was on the table was upset at this coworker and make that apparent. Not sure why she wasn’t serving us if she knew it was her table. She was short with us and unfriendly. Overall an unpleasant experience. Not usual here so I’ll be back but not for a while. $50 for brunch for two should have excellent service.
Appreciate the transition to paper straws!
Great food and service as always. Sat outside but the music was a little too loud. Still a great night out
Very unique with chef driven menu. Definitely a great experience.
We come regularly to eat here and love it! This visit the food was not as good as usual and our server did a great job, but was very busy. We were celebrating a birthday and in the past it was recognized , not this visit . We will continue to come back , but we were a bit disappointed .
We are regulars at Cozy’s and this time we had the BEST SERVICE we have ever had. Shout out to Brandon who was exceptional!!! Food was delicious as always and we introduced friends to Cozy’s. They also loved everything from the entertainment of steel drum Dave, the ambiance of the outdoor patio as well as the fantastic food and superb service
So enjoyed our wonderful meat at Cozy's Cafe and Pub. The food was just great and we enjoyed sitting outside by the fire pit after our meal. Outstanding!
The lobster mac and cheese was excellent. The Caesar salad was just okay. Garlic was very strong and lettuce was a little bitter. Biscuits were amazing. Server was a little scatter brained but nice. Would definitely go back.
My husband and I went for brunch for my birthday. This was our first time visiting Cozy’s and we were very happy with the overall experience. Service, food, atmosphere were outstanding. We will be going back!
