Cozy's Cafe and Pub Ratings and Reviews
Date night with my wife went well after several recommendations for this cute little spot. The adult beverages were definitely ingenious and delicious. I order a bone-in ribeye that was good to very good but it didn't knock my socks off. My eye ordered the friend chicken, which was a full half chicken of food. She thought it was betty good as well. In hindsight, I wish I had chosen the scallops. We shared a bowl of soup that blended carrot and parsnip which was very tasty. The carrot cake is to die for. Our server, Lynette, was outstanding. Attentive and informed. We'll definitely be back.
First time a Cozy Café & Pub and we really liked it. Very Cozy, somewhat elegant but comfortable with a quiet touch. Price was about right for the food served and everything taste great. Great that it's close and have the ability of reserving in advance. Also serve fine wines.
I was disappointed with this visit. Our server was average at best. The noise level was incredibly high . The food took forever to be delivered to the table and then we had to rush and eat in order to get get to the comedy club. The atmosphere is still very nice and I would go back.
First time at Cozy's...the food was fresh and full of flavor. We shared the Jalepeno Hushpuppies and I had the Cauliflower Steak and both were unique and very good. My guest had the Lobster Mac and Cheese which was comforting and flavorful. The cafe itself was decorated in a fun and well, cozy, way. It was loud enough that it was hard to hear our server and a little difficult to have a conversation but overall enjoyed it and would return.
My only complaint is the table we were sitted had a bench was too far back from the table and the table could not be moved closer. I talked to the manager about it and he said other people had complained about the same thing. I am just wondering why they haven't changed it. I would not go back if I had to sit at this table again.
Party of six ordered six different entree's. Most were delighted but the $49 rib eye was half eaten due to the amount of trash i.e. gristle, fat that was on the cut. Most disappointing. Raves for the scallops, oscar and crab cakes with satisfactory results for the bison steak and fried chicken. Good service but the ambient noise level was a bit too high for good conversation.
Excellent food and service. I had the scallops and absolutely loved the dish. The server was engaging, fun and helpful. Our only slight criticism was that our table in the back room was pretty close quarters and the noise level was higher than I would have liked. Next time we will request a table in one of the front rooms. Hope they can eventually expand to have a little more space! It was a little pricey for us, but the scallops were worth it!
Wonderful atmosphere for a gathering of friends. There were 6 of us with lively conversations to reconnect after a long time of not seeing each other. Only problem was the noise level of the room was high so difficult to have much conversation across the table.
I really liked the bar area and hope to revisit soon, especially when the weather warms. Great find!
The short rib fries were awesome. Our server was attentive and knowledge. My boyfriend ordered the bone in ribeye and he said it was amazing. I ordered the scallops and they were delightful, especially the paranip puree that is on the plate. All in all a wonderful place to dine.
We will not go back. Extremely noisy. We had to text each other to hold a conversation. Drinks were all ice. My chicken was over cooked and dry.(recommended by staff). Service was slow almost an hour from order to served.
We had a nice table for two in the dining room. There were several large groups the night we were there so the noise level was up a bit but we could still converse easily. The service was excellent and the food delicious. My only issue would be with the pricing. It is definitely on the higher end for type of cuisine. We thought it was worth it for an occasional night out or special occasion, but it wouldn’t be our regular go to place.
We went there on Christmas Eve and it was great. It is very quiet and just a warm environment. The service was outstanding and the food exceptional. This was the first time in the new area and it was a huge space. The tables were well spaced out so you didn't feel like you were eating with other people. I would recommend this to anyone.
I do a lot of dining for both personal and professional occasions. I was looking forward to Cozy’s and this had to be one of the biggest disappointments I have ever had. I had reserved a regular table on Opentable since it gave you the choice between hitop, regular and outdoors. When we arrived we were told there was only a hitop despite multiple tables without anyone at them over the course of 15 minutes. Our orders were mixed up on multiple occasions. The wait staff had every excuse imaginable and after waiting for an hour asked if we were happy since our food arrived. Our server waited on us reluctantly since she said we were not her table. Wife received wrong order. It arrived after the rest of us were done eating. Sons eggs only arrived after asking multiple times. My waffles were dry and burnt. Bloody Mary bar was over priced and under stocked. However, I was able to pay the extra mark up. After alerting the manager that food had not arrived for almost an hour, he proceeded to walk by our table without acknowledging us. The wait staff made you feel like they you were doing you a service when asking for things as simple as syrup. After all of this, our dining reward of $50 was only valid for $25. I would advise against dining here if you are looking for good food and service.
We came for brunch and we left with enough fuel to finish Christmas shopping. The mimosas do not disappoint. More bubbly than juice. I had an omelet that was very tasty. They used leeks instead of onions which didn’t overpower the other ingredients. What’s a brunch without biscuits? Fabulous! My husband had the French toast. It was delicious and enough to share. My daughter had their burger. Also fantastic. Our son-in-law had the club sandwich with an egg. Also delicious.
Second time visiting, this time with a large group. Food was spectacular. It was busy, thus there was a little bit of extra wait. Nonetheless, we had a great time. I was happy because it was my reservation and bringing a large group, expectations were high; they all liked the food a lot quite a bit.
We did gave the feedback that they need to work on serving expresso coffee. The desserts are delicious and the expresso coffee would be great.
I will definitely keep going back. Everyone treated us very well.
Hadn't been to Cozy's since summer, so menu was a little different. Food took a while to come out and server apologized because we had several large parties ahead of us. It wasn't too long of a wait. I felt like the menu prices were higher than I remember when the Pub first opened. The food is very good, but I don't think we will come back too often for dinner, just because of the $$. The specialty drinks are excellent and the service was also excellent. I would recommend the place to someone to try it out - nice ambiance, good drinks and food - but I do feel the prices are a little high. It's a great place to stay local if you don't want to go far from home. And it is very "cozy."
I have been to the Cozy Cottage before, my friends had not. We had a wonderful time and they really enjoyed it. Dani was our server and she was GREAT! She was friendly, helpful in choosing a wine and making food recommendations.
I will come again and I’m sure my friends will too.
I have been to Cozy a couple of times but this is my first in the cafe located in a larger building next door to the original. We went for brunch and The menu had a ton of options. The decor is relaxed and fun. The cocktails were great. I ordered the crab cakes eggs benidect. The crab cake was great with very little filler. However, the poached egg was over cooked so it could have been better but was still very good. My friends meal was also very good. I will definitely be going again. It also look like they have an awesome lawn in the summer that I look forward to experiencing.
