VERY large portions. The frizee and butternut squash salad could've been 2 portions The trout and beef entrees were perfectly prepared. The red curry paste on the trout was delicious. The atmosphere was open and kind of drab. I would recommend this restaurant but not for a special occasion.
Our server, Jose, gave us outstanding service, especially explaining some of the preparations and being mindful of the fact that we had to be elsewhere by a certain hour. He was very busy, but nevertheless took exceptional care of our large group. Everyone enjoyed their food and remarked about the quality of both the cocktails and the cuisine.
Service was quite slow and an order for Irish coffee was forgotten. Server and manager made up for it later.
Great food...again and great service! Would highly recommend before show.
Pre show dinner w friends. Smallish tables in hustle & bustle space. Husband told the server we were going to be hurried when he was first to arrive and he ordered drinks and small plates for us all. Turned out we had more time than he realized, and it’s a good thing. While the small plates and desserts ranged from good to great, the service was spotty. I’m still not really sure which of the 4 different servers to occasionally drop by was really “our” server. In the end, I had to go find the nearest one to ask for our check so we could make it - almost late - to the show. Not sure we’ll risk going back on a show night again.
Very nice - we were headed to a play and the restaurant was very convenient to the theater. The wait staff was very accommodating.
We were a table of 4 - shared a few small plates prior to going to the theatre. Enjoyed the pork stack, the wings and the bone marrow (although some were a bit undercooked and cold). The chicken livers were crispy due to the batter (that was disappointing - thought they would be unbuttered and crispy). The snails were also disappointing, I prefer them in a garlic butter rather than the fennel sauce this came in.
Delicious dinner! Fabulous service! Great atmosphere!! Will definitely come again soon.
The pork shank and chicken breast were excellent as was the service and the flourless chocolate torte.
We had a lovely meal and enjoyed everything we ate. The location is great when going to see a show at Playhouse Square. The valet is convenient also, you can valet park your car for only $10 if you spend at least $30 at the restaurant. Overall was a great time.
