Service was slow, my brother’s steak was cold. They took it back and threw it under the broiler so it was charred and dry when it came back. They did the right thing and took it off the bill. The rest of our meals were fine. I probably wouldn’t go back or recommend.
It was an overall amazing experience. The food was amazing, the staff was wonderful and attentive, and the atmosphere was beautiful. Can’t say enough good things about this place!
The service was great, Chris was awesome. The food was fantastic, the value is great considering this is fine dining. We enjoyed every minute.
Always top-notch food and service at Cowboy Star. Pricier, but worth it. Dining room was quite chilly last night - even with a sweater on.
A great meal. Every item was absolutely delicious. The service was flawless. It’s obvious that those working take pride in making it a memorable dining experience.
The questions I always ask myself are would I return and recommend Cowboy Star as a place to spend my dining entertainment dollars?
That’s an easy answer YES and YES
The Cowboy Star shines bright !
We love Cowboy Star! Its a great place for a special occasion.
The cooks must have been having a bad day on Nov 21 2021 six dinners or either over cooked or undercooked every single dinner was over seasoned almost like it was way too much salt we were there celebrating my wife’s birthday her meat was so rare on the inside and well done on the outside she had asked for it to be medium after taking it back they tried to fix it came back worse and up just giving her the plate for free although she did not eat her food. Server was awesome she was the best we’ve always had her before usually the food is really great here but on this day we give it a thumbs down even you could see it in the kitchen that they were just having a bad day even cussing at each other and just look like everyone was fighting I could feel the tension in the kitchen. More than likely we will return to give it another try. But I don’t know what was happening on this day.
We love Cowboy Star. The steaks are amazing, the best in Colorado Springs. The ambience and decor is on point too! Highly recommend for a special night out!
We were there for our 44th wedding anniversary. They had a card signed by the staff and a red long stem rose at our table when we arrived. Our menu had Happy Anniversary on it also. The food was fabulous. I have allergies had they accommodate them. We are going to go for our 45th next year.
Server was the best part.
Outstanding steaks, some of the best oysters in town.
We were passing through and stopped for dinner. The food was fantastic along with the atmosphere. We definitely
Great service and food!
Wonderful ambiance and incredible service. Food was amazing, yet pricey. Perfect for a special occasion!
Wonderful dinner, yet again. Only complaint is that the dozen oysters are WAY over-priced considering they average the size of a teaspoon of jelly. We were "misguided" by our waiter who promised us they were much larger, resulting in our ordering them and being sorely disappointed when they were served. He did not seem to really care that he had not been truthful.
Pricey place! A 10 oz Kobe strip steak = $240. Needless to say we did not order that preferring to go on a long weekend vacation instead. The filet, however, was marvelous!
Awesome steakhouse. We had a great esperience from service to the food.
We had outstanding service and the food was amazing. Would definitely recommend for someone’s special occasion.
The steak was absolutely outstanding, it melted like butter in my mouth. Everything had amazing flavor
Excellent food and solid service, nice evening date night
First time we have been here since living in the Springs since 2017. How have we not known about this place?!! The food was amazing and so was the staff. This is now our go to restaurant for a nice dinner!!
Best steak in the world. No one else can compare.
We moved to Colorado Springs about 17 months ago. We had developed a list of restaurants that were either recommended or were rated as some of the best. My wife and I agreed that the Cowboy Star is clearly the best of the best. The service was over the top and the food was impeccably delicious. Going forward this will be our date night out and special occasion go to. I highly recommend Cowboy Star.
Crazy busy on a Tuesday night... Great Energy. Food fabulous and Chris our waiter superb. Their newest entre a 40 ounce Rib Chop was over the top.
We had a wonderful experience dining at Cowboy Star. Service and food were great.
On par with the big deal restaurants on the East Coast, but way more hospitable. So impressed! Will be back for the next special occasion. Thank you Cowboy Star!
We had a wonderful meal from start to finish. The service was top notch, Sean was personable and welcoming!
We enjoyed the Sunday Supper prime rib and it was phenomenal!
Dessert is a MUST when dining here. The Chocolate Chip Bread Pudding is a chocolate lover’s dream, I personally asked about their house made ice creams and was blown away by the fun flavors they offered. They had an oatmeal raisin that was blew me away.
We will definitely be back and love every experience we have at Cowboy Star!
It was the first Sunday back open in awhile and it was wonderful! We both had the prime rib and it was wonderful! Rachel made us feel special during our meal.
Food was excellent except mashed potatoes had way too much horseradish in them
Such a wonderful anniversary experience. They left a rose and card signed by the staff at our table. The drinks were delicious, we got a whiskey sour and an old fashioned. The bison New York strip and the 21 day aged new York strip were cooked perfectly to medium rare. The mashed potatoes had a touch of horseradish which really made them stand out. We got the bread pudding for dessert and it was great. Oysters were fresh. The staff were on top of it and very knowledgeable. We had Sean as our server and he was great.
The food was amazing. The service was outstanding! I took my wife there for her birthday and she was completely impressed. This is the first restaurant she had ZERO complaints or ideas on how to improve the place. Thank you Cowboy Star!
We did have to wait for our table a little bit , but we very much enjoyed sitting around the fire in the waiting area with our family. I am from Ohio so I don’t like going to places that I can go to in Ohio. Well nothing like Cowboy Star near me. Drinks were fabulous and food was amazing. It was an experience from beginning to end. I will be back for sure . Enjoyed seeing into the kitchen also . Espresso Martini topped with fresh whipped cream is a must get
Best anniversary experience to date.
First time and everything was very good
Great A5 "Kobe" steak that was truly buttery. My wife was hesitant, but she loved it too. We had the wedge salad, A5 steak, U10 scallops, with mashed potatoes and brocollini. All was perfectly cooked and the steak did not even need a knife. Great service from Rachel and the rest of the complimentary staff. Great birthday dinner and night in general. P.S. She also loved the perfect Tangueray and Tonic. Mixologist did a great job too. Thanks for a great birthday for my wife.
Great service, attentive and perfectly paced. Food is outstanding.
We were given a gift card from our realtor that we used to buy a house in the springs
this year. She had been there and highly recommended the Cowboy Star. Steven our waiter was so helpful walking us threw the menu asking us meaningful questions not
the usual " I have it all the time I highly recommend it " .
A little pricy but worth it
Everyone loved the food and compared to Steaks to a Chicago Steakhouse
as always Chris was the ultimate server and the food timely and delicious. Wine was a hit, thanks Chris!!
Nice relaxing evening with my family celebrating my wife’s birthday.
Great service and great food. Unfortunately we didn’t get a booth so the anniversary experience was a little ruined but we had great service
