My wife and I split an order of ribs. They were not the typical rack or half rack. There were five ribs in the order for $35. The ribs had much more meat on them than other ribs I have had over the years. The ribs were tasty. However, they didn’t have any “chew”. I would prefer to have less meat on the ribs and more ribs the meet closer to the ribs taste better. We brought a bottle of wine for corkage. The waiter didn’t know the corkage fee turned out to be $35 which I thought was a little high for this quality restaurant. The waiter opened a bottle of wine, but never porta drop into our wine glasses. Never filled up the wine glasses, which I thought was not very professional. And after we finished eating, I expected the waiter to bring hot wet towels for our hands, but after about 10 minutes , I asked the waiter to bring them in to his credit he did.

The food was amazing. The sopapillas, chicken fried pork chop, pulled pork taquitos, bolognese, and wings are all to die for. Will definitely be telling friends if they are in the Palm Springs/ Pal Desert area to go experience it.

This was our second visit. Cowboy Cantina has become my favorite steakhouse. The meal was scrumptious, the atmosphere was delightful and the service was superb. Brought two other couples with us to celebrate husband’s 80th birthday. Everyone was super pleased with it all.

Great dining experience and fabulous menu! Ribs were especially great. Fun dessert menu with the oversized cocktail glass filled with ice cream, waffles. Churros and Ice Cream Taco. Coleslaw had a nice bite to it but if you don’t like spice ask for alternate item. Will come again!

Took our twin sons for their 34th birthday celebration. Excellent burgers, fries, etc - food they love! Hubby loved the brisket sandwich!!! So fun! And the birthday treat they gave the table to share was amazing!

Excellent meal with generous portions and very nicely presented. Cheerful service and a great atmosphere. Only suggestion is getting that first drink to the table promptly could be improved; even with 3 bartenders on duty it takes a long time for that first cocktail to arrive. (Applebee’s rule is 2 minutes!). But a fine meal and a very nice evening.

I gave this place a total of three stars even though neither of us enjoyed the food because our server was nice. She answered all our questions with patience. After reviewing the menu we realized they specialized in spicy food, which we don’t enjoy so asked lots of questions about milder dishes. We had the ribs and a burger. Neither of us ate much of it.

We came here for a family dinner with 2 toddlers and ambience was great. Food was delicious and so were the margaritas. It was our first time there and the staff made us feel right at home. Definitely recommend this place. Also loved that it was kid friendly. Great place!

Dressing on spinach salad too oily and didnt taste well. They removed it from the bill which was nice of them. Thoroughly enjoyed the tostada with the added chicken. Great size portions, more than I needed. I would go back if in the area.

Great hamburgers with awesome crunchy homemade potato chips. Leah, our server, was great — super friendly and always checking in on us. Other servers helped out too. The general manager, Biff, stopped by to chat which was a nice touch. We got to the restaurant at 5:30 on a Sunday and by the time we left around 6:40 it was fairly crowded. We will definitely return on our next vacation to Palm Sprins in a few years.

The food was good, but with a few caveats: The slaw is extraordinarily spicy. If you get a dish with slaw make sure you get it on the side, otherwise it will destroy your palate. Also, the food is quite salty. That said, the service was good - thanks Lexy! The ambience was nice, and definitely not stuffy. The prices were reasonable.

We do have a hotter style menu on some of our dishes since we incorporate hatch chiles in them, however our menus indicate with a pepper next to them which are spicy and which are not so hopefully that will help our guests. Like with any pepper or chile, some can be spicier than others and some are more mild. We are glad you enjoyed your visit and we hope to see you again soon.

We’ve had dinner here five times and enjoyed every meal. Their grilled salmon is outstanding. My husband has had their hamburger, ribs and tostada. We also split taquitos and hatch chili with potato tots. Everything we’ve had here has been excellent.
