You really need a big appetite for this place. Food is good, service is ok
The concept is superb , the meat was to salty and a bit over cooked. Wait staff and servers were very good. Drinks were very good. Very clean. I would go back but maybe only have the salad and hot bar.
Food was good waitress was not always had help from
Someone else to bring us stuff
We came in and checked in with the host. She sat us in the bar area. It look a few minutes for anyone to come over. He took out drink order and then brought them back. I asked for the small plates you get normally for the meat he said oh your get those yourself at the salad bar(which they were not us there). We started to get meat coming around. We only received steak and pork. We were there for over an hour. We never got chicken, wings or the lamb chops. Normally we have items wrapped in bacon too, never saw any of that. I feel like since we were sat in the bar area they just forgot about us. I wasn’t able to order a second drink because the waiter didn’t comeback before we were done eating. We also sat with dirty plates on the table stacked for a long time.
Good food. They cater to larger groups and ignore smaller parties.
Mark, our waiter made our experience extra enjoyable!
It was our 10 yr anniversary. A very special night. 1 st time there. It was amazing!!! Wait staff was just beautiful to us!!!
The food is delicious and the food presentation is definitely a experience!
Ambience and decor lacked when compared to other specialty steak houses. However, the quality of their meats more than made up for that and a server that could've been more attentive.
Took forever to get any meat sent to our table, you would almost have to stand and wave the card in their faces to get them to come to the table.
But then if the card was turned to red they would still come ask if we wanted anything.
When you did get meat, the servings were so small that it wasn’t even really worth it.
Not bad just not good either particularly for the value.
My wife and I made reservations for our anniversary. We had never been here before but knowing it used to be Twin City Chop House, I figured it would be amazing. I was in a nice suit and my wife in a nice dress. We walked in and it looked like an Applebees. People dressed in gym shorts and tee shirts. We sat at our table for close to 10 minutes before anyone came by. He asked if we had been helped yet (obviously not) and then he said he would be our server. He explained very nicely about how things work which was informative. Pretty much after delivering our drinks, we never saw him again. We did not get any bread like all the other tables had. We didn’t have any candles at our table like the other had. We were right in the middle of the restaurant so people were always walking by and bumping into your chair and table. The Gouchos on the other hand, were awesome. Super nice and friendly. Never let my plate look empty. The food was superior. Amazing meats, chicken, sausages and cooked perfectly. The Gouchos were actually dressed very nice and appropriately where as most other were not. For a $127.00 meal...I probably wouldn’t go back. I expected a lot more coming from a Brazilian Steakhouse in the middle of downtown. This place could be amazing but it’s very sub par. It’s not appetizing looking at pants sagging off people hind ends and shirts that say trap house. I don’t know, maybe it was an off night but a dress code and more servers would do this place good.
My first time back to Cowboy after the plague year and it was great! There were some loud mouths at the next table over, but once they left it was a nice time.
Good food, good service everyone was extremely nice and helpful. A wonderful Groupon find.
Ribs burnt. Other than that, food delicious. Enjoyed variety. Did not get early bird discount. Did not notice receipt till we got home. Husband paid bill, did not know about discount. Did get free dessert, we were celebrating our 53rd wedding anniversary.
Took my wife and mother for Mexican Mother’s Day (may 10th) we get there and had an 8pm reservation we got our table pretty fast and the waitress was very friendly and brought our drinks in a timely manner but we waited about 30 minutes to get the first cut of meat brought to the table with was brisket and it was alright. Than we waited again for gaucho for like an other 20 minutes and brought us chicken wings. At that time I was already mad so I asked the waitress if she could please bring us some picanha and they brought it out and we all get a slice but my mom wanted hers well done so the gaucho toll us that I’ll be back. We wait and nothing then a gaucho come with the grilled pineapple and we wave at him and he acknowledges us but goes by us and never come back at the point I told the waitress just to give us our check so we could leave and she was very friendly and had a good attitude but the over all experience was very disappointed I don’t think I am ever going back ever. That was my first time there and I was very disappointed. We ended up stoping by McDonald’s on the way back home because we didn’t get to eat much at the restaurant.
Best dining experience! Our waitress was the best!
Food was okay. Nothing great. Some had an exotic, interesting flavor, some were too salty. The pork was tough. Most of the meats were not steak. The highlight for me was the shrimp on the salad bar.
I enjoyed eating there on Mother’s Day.
They were great from start to finish. Meats were outstanding and when we requested a particular cut, they were happy to provide.
Very good food, especially if you LOVE meat! Service was great also, loved our waitress!
I purchased a Groupon for this restaurant and it was a steal! The environment is perfect for a date nigh and the food is on point with fine dining. I loved our waitress and the staff was very friendly. Will definitely be going back!! Highly recommend. Ps. Complimentary parking is across the street at the funeral home. :)
I expected so much more, they advertise all these different meats. Chicken, maybe four different kinds of steak, sausage and ribs. No, I wasn’t impressed. Servers and host very friendly but management did not even acknowledge us until we were leaving.
We frequent Cowboy Brazilian. It is generally quite good, but on this particular night the service was very slow. However, the food was still very good, except that there were no fried bananas.
The food was excellent, and the service was very good. The only distraction from an otherwise perfect evening was the noise level.
This place was a bit pricier than all the other places we’ve visited. So far though, the only churrasco that did not have feijoada on the bar? Brasil’s most popular dish.
Very disappointing, especially for the price. The gauchos came by the table with meat before we were ready (red cards were up). The rice was too salty, as were several of the meats. Once our green cards were up, the gauchos rarely came by the table, and it took a long time for any of them to come by with filet, even though we asked several times. And the dessert was also poor. I can't imagine why this place is still doing business.
Overall dinner was good.
The meats were flavorful and cooked to desired temperatures. The gauchos seemed to disappear every now and then.
Our server was ok. Just not as attentive as we would have liked.
For that eclectic getaway meal. Great with a bottle if wine. Justsay'n......D
Great atmosphere... FANTASTIC food!
From the moment we stepped inside we felt welcomed. The dining area was nice(it got a little noisy around 6:30, but that’s to be expected and it still didn’t interfere with our meal or conversation.) They kept a near constant rotation of the meats, and made sure to check in often to refill our drinks or ask if there was any special meat we were wanting. Our waitress was incredibly friendly and fast with service and a genuine joy to be served by. This place will definitely be a common meal plan for us!
food was delicious, server Andrea was great and our plates were never empty. The bar seemed to be a little slow, but it was a Saturday night and only one bartender so understandable.
Everything was amazing! So delicious! We will definitely visit again when we are in the area!
Excellent food and service. Fresh and well presented salad bar and sides. Meat variety was as advertised and awesome. The garlic steak, bacon wrapped filet and lamb were our favorites. Had a nice bottle of Zinfandel for $25. They have a full bar and decent wine list that has affordable options. The gauchos came around frequently and were friendly and jovial. Highly recommend for special occasions and date night.
Very nice place for a date or any special occasion.
First time at this restaurant! I’ve been to other Brazilian steakhouses. This one was okay. I had to keep asking for lamb which is my favorite. I told them ahead of time that is was and it still took 45 mins to get one. It got to the point I had to ask every server when the lamb was coming. When they brought it out, they walked past our table twice as I tried to flag them down, but they went to the same table each time. I was a very disappointed because it was my mom’s 50th birthday and we had to sing to her ourselves, even though the waiters sang “Happy Birthday” to someone else right afterwards. I wanted to treat my mom to a bottle of wine, so she asked for an Italian pinot grigio, but they gave her a California wine that she did not enjoy, and it happened to be the most expensive bottle. I doubt I will return to this one. Leblon Steakhouse in Greensboro, NC was much better in my experience.
As always it was great, food, service, etc, however the filet minion only made to the table once.
Wow! Really disappointed. I am Brazilian and I’ve been to a few of these. To start there was not fejuada.. a staple in Brazilian food.. the caipirinha was awful just like juice! All the drinks I ordered was pretty juicy.. like barely any alcohol. The floors we slick! When the meal was coming to an end.. the waitress started cleaning and said she needed to close up bc she need to close down and go. Will never return!
Food was delicious, service was prompt and the meats were mouth watering good, drink menu was large, defiantly worth the time and money.
