Cowboy Brazilian Steakhouse - North Charleston
On vacation with my family. first time going to a brazilian steakhouse since we went to myrtle beach. great food and amazing prices.
Started with a delicious cowboy mojito.
The salad bar was well stocked. I loved all the protein choices! The top sirloin was my favorite. All the Gauchos were beyond friendly and professional.
Having been to several other brands of Brazilian Steakhouses in many different cities, I assumed they were all pretty much the same. Not so! We had been in Charleston for a week and wanted a break (believe it or not) from seafood for the night. Thought we would avoid downtown traffic and try this spot. Service was not bad, just indifferent. The salad and hot bar selections were very limited. The meats were over cooked and under seasoned. Do yourself a favor and avoid this restaurant. Too many other good options in Charleston.
We went for my birthday and had a wonderful time. They are so much better after they reopened!
The meat was good but the chicken was dry and average. Need better sign or space for the rice/mashed potatoes & vegetables. People in my party missed this because it is kind of tucked away. The staff is helpful, knowledgeable & friendly. They make it a great place.
The only thing that I didn’t like is the gratuity. It was based on Groupon amount. It actually charged me more bc I had a coupon. This should be left up to the guest. NOT the company. Poor taste. Thanks
34th Anniversary it was fantastic. Ate so much good food. Everything was just so good I felt like I missed some of the meats but I did not have room for anything else.
Food was very good, staff was extremely friendly. Only feedback is that one of the meats was quite rare but no worries. Everything was very good!
Amazing Staff, very accommodating, friendly, professional and helpful. Had a birthday party for 8. They helped with everything. One in our party was allergic to onions and the hostess went out of her way to make sure no utensils were reused that had contact with onions. Wrote a list of things that had and didn’t have onions. They went ABOVE and BEYOND!
The good was out of this world. We went the day before July 4th. Had no problems with reservations. The dining was very relaxed. Wasn’t a large crowd to contend with noise ; it wa just the most pleasurable experience.
So good!!! Go hungry :)
Definitely not up to par with other Brazilian Steakhouses that I’ve been to. The buffet didn’t begin to compare. One hot bar with only 6 items. The salad bar was mediocre. Only one type of olive, two cheeses, and 1 type of bread. Our family of four was $211. I would definitely go somewhere else for the price.
Excellent, very accommodating service. Food was very good and salad bar fresh.
I love this place! The food is excellent, the service is very friendly, and did I mention the food is excellent!!! I recommend this place to everyone I talk to.
Good salad bar and wine options! The service was good. The meat options were very good. The chicken, sausage, steak, pork were all good! The grilled pineapple with brown sugar and cinnamon was tremendous!
The food is always delicious! They bring out the meats at good intervals and always make sure u receive what u r wanting. Will definitely go back again.
The food was excellent. My husband took me for my birthday and it was so good.
Hostess, little rude..
The rest of the waitress and gauchos nice attitude!!!
This restaurant is a GEM in North Charleston, a true experience.
Excellent service and food.
Great good, great service. Highly recommend.
Good food and great service. It was my Birthday and they provided a very nice cheese cake with Happy Birthday on the plate in chocolate. They also sang the Brazilian version of Happy Birthday.
Great staff. Great food. Person next to me was talking way too loud for the setting. Really annoyed me and my guest. I am deaf in one ear so it was uncomfortable trying to talk. Otherwise it was exceptional. Love, love, love the lamb chops and pineapple and bbq chicken.
Meat heaven!! I’m a carnivore and let me tell you I haven’t been that happy in a long time. Meat. Meat. Meat. I had the meat sweats half way through! Nirvana. I was late for work the next morning thanks to the meat coma I experienced. The different cuts were all cooked perfectly. S&P only just the way I like it. The meat was plentiful and prompt. At no point was I waiting for the next cut. From lamb to pork to God’s beef everything was perfect.
great place for a group at a reasonable price
nice selection of cooked meat all you can eat
The people were lovely but we were seated in a smaller dining room and the food choices did not make it back to us. My son looked forward to lamb chops and grilled pineapple that never made it to us. Better luck next time!
The Roast beef and Lamb chops were excellent. The salad bar was clean and well stocked. The wait staff was attentive and responsive. A very nice dining experience.
Buffet was good and meat selection was awesome. Our waitress was super friendly and helpful.
Never eating in a Brazilian steakhouse before, this experience was amazing. The gauchos didn't pay as much attention to the red/green cards as I thought they would, but the service was still fantastic.
Food was great, I wish I had a bigger appetite to be able to try all the great cuts of meat.
Food was great, cups were always full. Really fun atmosphere with lots of energy
The food is good and full of flavor. My favorite was the lamb chop!!. The whole experience so much fun. The meat is brought out nice and hot. The salad bar they have will have your head spinning from having to choose.
The experience was awesome! I had never been to a restaurant like this before and enjoyed it. My waiter Vinnie was great!
My husband and kids brought my mother and I here for our Mothers day dinner. It was absolutely perfect. From the staff to the food. A very different but enjoyable experience.
Just wasn't what we expected. Really expensive. Meats were fatty.. over $110.00 for two people, drinking water. Not a lot on the buffet.
*it was a one time experience
The food is good, but the meats are served infrequently. We sat for long periods of time without any meat being offered, and during our entire 2 hour meal, we were never offered most of our favorites such as lamb, or round special Brazilian steak (I don't know the correct name).
When we were offered meat, it was the inexpensive selections (flank steak, sausage), and we didn't want to eat that exclusively- but we did.
The salad bar is good, with fresh offerings. There were no usual Brazilian sides, such as cheese rolls, or yuca, or plantains though.
My husband and I have eaten at many Brazilian steakhouses in the Southeast (we live in Jacksonville), and this was our least favorite- but, it was also the most inexpensive, so it's a trade-off. If you go in with lowered expectations, you'll be less likely to be disappointed.
Outstanding service and very customer oriented, thank you Will and the others that where serving the meats!
I ate so much I felt like I gain a pants size. Great cold bar and 4 items on the hot bar(mushroom, mash potatoes, rice and something else). The server was very nice and keep out drinks full.
Very nice steak house! Authentic brazilian barbecue!
Very bad location. The building does not go with that type restaurant. The cold / salad bar was not good at all, no selection and what was there was like what u find in a cafeteria
We just moved to S.Carolina from NY in April of 2018. Cowboy Brazilian Steak House ( N. Charleston ) has become one of our favorite places to eat. Last Saturday was our first time dinning with 2 children joining our part. The 2 children, who can be picky eaters found plenty of items offered that they enjoyed and asked for seconds.
Wonderful place to eat. our waiter and all the one's serving us were all very nice.
