Unfortunately, our server’s lack of knowledge about the menu pricing, and her nonverbal communication put a damper on the evening. We were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary, and this was a far different experience from other visits. We are aware that the current health situation in our country has affected all sectors, and we do not expect pre-COVID situations everywhere, but our disappointment could easily have been avoided by the server’s preparation and a modicum of pleasantness.
The food was amazing! I would definitely go back and recommend to friends/family!
Great service and food. Very good atmosphere. Highly recommend.
Fantastic as always! The pineapple is my favorite!
As always excellent service and food variety excellent as well.
Very nice and thankful for the employees who were working on Thanksgiving Day!
Thanksgiving dinner was outstanding. Large selection on hot and cold bars with shrimp, smoked salmon, many types of salad including Brazilian specialties and traditional Thanksgiving sides. Meat carved and served table side with a terrific range of choices.Excellent service and ambiance.. We will be back very soon!
We were on Hilton Head for a few days and the family was craving something other then seafood and this hit the mark. We arrived early on a weekday before the crowds started to build but made a reservation just to be safe. Been to a few Brazilian Churrascarias throughout the years including the genuine offering in Brazil. Although some may consider it a little pricey the food and selection on our night was one of the better ones we have been to. Meats on our night included lamb (leg and chops), filet (as well as other cuts of steak), pork, chicken, beef ribs and various sausages. The steak and lamb was offered to whatever temperature you wanted but you may need to wait until the one to your “doneness” made the rounds. No need to worry though there were plenty of other meats circulating while you waited. Salad bar had a nice and diverse selection including some seafood (peel & eat shrimp and smoked salmon) and some meats (ham/salami/Brazilian chicken salad). The salad bar offerings was such that one in our group opted to forego the meat frenzy and just stay with the salad bar. Staff was attentive and they had a good selection from the bar. With places like this we have learned to skip the bread, not fill up too much on the salad bar and pace yourself with the meats as they come. That way you have a chance to taste the entire selection and get seconds of your favorites. Take your time and be patient....don’t rush thru dinner.....enjoy the experience and conversations with family, friends and the staff. The Owner was walking around the dining room and stopped by our table twice to check on us and make sure things were going well. Oh and if you are still hungry they have a pretty decent dessert selection but you don’t typically go to places like this for the dessert and coffee.....
Fantastic food, service, and price!! We celebrated our son's birthday and the staff made it a fun night for the whole party!!
Reward for shooting a banded duck. Great as usual.
Great experience! Very good customer service. They actually take care of your table and make sure you are getting to try all the meats. The salad bar was very fresh and kept clean. Wonderful ambiance, quiet and plenty of space between parties.
Food is just okay. The seasoning leaves a lot to be desired!
Cowboy Steakhouse was great! Loved the food and the service. The best part, it is locally owned and owner-operated. We were quite impressed that the owner herself was present and doing the “grunt work” with the staff! We will go back any time we’re in Hilton Head!
Our waitress was excellent! She was very attentive as well as the food carriers. It was a birthday celebration for me and our first time at this restaurant. We were not disappointed.
Good food, my waitress was slow and overwhelmed. Waited 20 minutes for a check.
We never received any of the meats even after repeatedly telling the servers.
I expected a lot more when I came to cowboys last night. When we came in, the hostess wasn’t very friendly. I enjoyed the salad bar and the different options they offered. The sides were not that impressing. I thought they would have better options. The meat that came around was really good. I didn’t feel like the price matched the entire experience though. I don’t think we’ll be back.
When bringing meats around, they asked if you wanted one piece to share! Food was not good.
Too expensive when most food was just okay. The variety was good and the servers were great.
Great service and amazing food as always!!
AH-MAZE-ING! Loved it. Came here to celebrate my husband's birthday with my in-laws and had a terrific experience. The staff was friendly, well-informed, and handled any questions/concerns we had with expertise and elegance. Our server, Melissa was wonderful. She was diligent and always on top of our needs. Highly recommend her! The owner Bill had also taken the time to stop by our table and converse with us. Added to the already wonderful experience. He took the time to visit every table and hear out their concerns and feedback. Very nice to have that kind of working environment here. We live in Savannah but will be more than happy to make the hour drive to eat here again and again. Will recommend this establishment within my network.
It was great! Although the host was not very welcoming and came off rude.
Doesn’t compare to other Brazilian style steakhouses we’ve been to. Service was lacking, which is surprising since all
They really have to do is drinks and desserts. Food was good though.
Of course, it is not inexpensive to eat here, but the food is excellent and then there is the entertainment factor of the gauchos bringing the meats to your table. Therefore, it is a true value. The restaurant decor was right on point and the Brazilian music add to the overall atmosphere. Loved every minute.
Beware of being lost against a large group. The meat guys only came by us 5 times - and in a place like this, you know that’s nothing! Most cuts of meat, we only saw from a distance. No chance to partake. A large group next to us had just wrapped up their meal, so the meat stopped flowing near us. Definitely NOT worth the money this time. We have eaten at many Brazilian steakhouses and the Picanha we did have was mediocre - it’s usually the best cut. Didn’t have the distinct crunchy sea salt.
We apologize if you felt lost, after saying something to your server the Gauchos and Manager check on your table to insure you got everything you ask for. Saturdays during prime time seating the kitchen may run at a slower pace. Our dinning is an experience, our guest are not rushed to finish their meal. Our Picanaha is Certified Angus Beef and we season with kosher salt as do all Brazilians restaurants. Some guest prefer more salt than others. Thank you for the feedback. CBS Team
First time going and arrived a little early and parked right in front. Food was good and no complaints about anything brought to table. Will definitely be back.
Fantastic place and staff, clean place and meat always on time.
Awesome food and service,go early and ask for the early bird special(check for times).Pace yourself because evrything is fantastic. You will not leave hungry or disappointed.
We did the early bird special. The food was excellent as well as the service.
Just do better. Nothing about our first experience was good. Nothing the staff doesn’t know.
Meat was excellent. Wine selection was weak in my opinion
Wonderful dining experience and food was delicious. Nice variety of side dishes and proteins like steak, lamb, chicken, etc.
We loved it! Great concept, fun dining experience and everything was delicious! Gauchos came around frequently and were generous with servings. Ability to immediately get salad bar and side items a huge plus! A little pricey but worth it! We will be back!!
Service was a little rough, but
13th wedding anniversary with family!
Great food, excellent service, beautiful atmosphere. A really fun experience.
The service was horrible. The food was bland and dry. We got put in a corner seating and was ignored. Large party came in so got no refill on beverages. Took forever for meat to come around had to keep requesting for service. Overall experience was unsatisfactory due to lack of service and poor food tasting.
Felt like larger tables got better service then a table for two
If you are a Steak lover this restaurant is a must. Picanha is the king of Steaks there.
