Food was outstanding. The salad bar was good. The meat kept coming and was all delicious. Perfect place to take four SC rugby players for dinner! Lexi is the best and makes great cocktails!!

Cowboy is our favorite restaurant so we go for almost all of our special occasions. We went last night to celebrate my wife's birthday. The food is always excellent and so is the service.
Salad bar was delicious. Meat was inconsistent, some too well some too rare some just right. Went for birthday dinner and no complimentary dessert or mention made.
Went for my birthday. Staff was friendly and helpful. Service was great. Food was hot, fresh, plentiful and well prepared. Truly enjoy our time there.

I think that the staff are top notch. Perhaps the problem is me. The majority of the meats tasted funny because they had been cooked in some form of a rotisserie.
I enjoyed the cooked pineapple, the beef brisket and the garlic bread. To be honest; the rest of the meats tasted funny to me, and were a bit tough to chew.
The Salad bar was top notch. 5 stars across the board. We also enjoyed the deserts.
Perhaps if the meats were cooked with charcoal or wood, it would produce a better flavor.
Either way, we had a good time.

We went there to celebrate my cousins birthday and the experience was amazing. The service was great and the food was amazing.
Food was great, service was great. Michaela was our waitress and was very friendly and attentive.
Food was all way over cooked and had no flavor/ seasoning. We had to wait well past our reservation time for a table. Most of the meat seemed to be poor quality. Not tender and lots of fat.
Our waitress was polite and professional at all times. The servers were kind and explained everything to perfection. We had a family event because my husband is leaving to deploy for a year and the restaurant took care of us, making it special. 100% would go back and would recommend others.
We had a great server who was very attentive, despite the establishment dealing with short staffing. My kids enjoyed the experience. The noise wasn’t so bad because our party of 6 was fortunate to be seated in a private room.
Definitely not what I expected for the price. The ambiance is very lacking. For $50 meal you would expect the place to be someone decorated and not feel like an industrial cafeteria. Most the of the meat was dry, ribs were inedible. Won’t be back.
We went shortly after they first opened and it was good. We went a year or so later and it was better. Tonight was the first time in a few years since we've been there. It was great! A really nice selection of meat, the most variety I've ever seen there. Very nice salad bar and sides. Cocktails were perfect. The service was top shelf.

Probably will not return, but not because of any displeasure with the restaurant. My wife and I were celebrating our 65th wedding anniversary. It was a good experience, but at our age, the amount of food is impractical and the price pushes you to eat as much as possible. Just not our thing. Again, a good one time experience but not practical for us.
The meats that were served were very bland. Many tasted as if they were not fresh. Have eaten at several Brazilian style steak houses and never have experienced the meats tasting so bad.

Service was VERY slow, yet the waiter only had our table of 2, a table of 4, and another table of 2. I had to flag him down 3x to refill my and my wife's cokes. The meat offered by the Gouchos was Dry and Extremely Overcooked (notice the capital letters), and NO Filet Mignon was ever offered. Our choices were: Parmesan bread, some sort of sausage(dry), flank steak (decent), salmon (insanely overcooked), Parmesan pork (dry and hard as a hockey puck), lamb chops and leg of lamb (perfectly cooked) and top sirloin, which you took your chances on what you'd receive... Burnt or rare. I made reservations, taking the time to tell them this was our anniversary... We weren't even offered desserts. Very very sad.
We had Ryan as a server and he truly exceeded our expectations. Georgio one of the guys bringing the meat to our table was beyond knowledgeable of the meats and what to pair with them to bring out the different flavors.
Not at all what we expected for the price we paid. Salad bar choices limited. Meats had no flavor. Some of the items served were dry. Expected a nicer atmosphere. Can't say we will go back.

The food was good but not quite as good as a previous (pre-COVID) visit. Needed more flavoring on the crust and for some cuts, the temperature of the meat was on the cold to lukewarm side. Not too impressed with lamb, brisket, and steak w/Garlic as they were dry and seemed old. If you stick to the filet and ribeye you'll be OK. The salad bar had a lot of variety. The peel and eat shrimp snapped when you bit into them as they should - I liked that. Surprised to see tabouleh on the salad bar and it is one of my favs, but it was very dry - felt old. The experience I had here, being not as good as the last, may indeed be a symptom of COVID and the ability to attract/retain the front and back of the house folks that make it all happen so I may give this place one more try in the future. I like the atmosphere and want this place to succeed but they need to raise the bar a little IMHO.....
We had a wonderful celebration at Cowboy's. Everything about the dining experience there is elegant. The food (including desserts) is truly memorable. You won't leave unsatisfied!
Service was great but many of the meats that were offered were not to my taste. They tended to be more bloody. I prefer medium over rare or medium rare. The cost is a bit on the high side for the overall experience.
Haven’t been back since before COVID so it was interesting to see new meats offered! Waitress was great and attentive, overall a great time.
For anyone wanting to enjoy a nice evening trying different cuts of meat, I highly recommend the staff is amazing and will take great care of you
The ambiance and the service at this restaurant was outstanding. We arrived 8 min prior to our reservation and was seated immediately in a private room which my party and I was not expecting. The service was fast and friendly and the variety of meats that was presented was cook to perfection. I highly recommend this restaurant in Columbia.
Server Ryan was excellent, made sure we had the meat we liked at the temperature we preferred.
We really enjoyed it as first timers. As a fan of MR steak I was disappointed that we seemed to always get WD meats. The pineapple was THE BEST!
