Love this place. Will recommend for any occasion. Can’t wait to go back.
Outstanding. Was asked what meats we preferred, and they immediately brought us our favorites. Did not have to wait long for more like at other Brazilian steakhouses. Food was delicious!! Highly recommend.
I WENT FOR MY BIRTHDAY DINNER AND WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED. LOOKING FORWARD TO RETURNING BEFORE THE NEXT BIRTHDAY.
Service was extremely slow. The meat guys only came around once every 10 minutes or so. Everyone in our group only received one or two pieces of meat during the entire meal. Our waitress let plates pile up on our table.
The restaurant was amazing. The staff was great. Our server Eddie was the best server, and helped us make decisions as it was our first time there! Will definately go again!
Food and vibe was perfect, our waitress was not but the food and other aspects made up for it.
The food was amazing and our server was on it at all times. Would definitely go back when we’re in Columbia.
My wife and I were experiencing our first meal at your restaurant for our 34th Anniversary . Hostess was fine and we were seated quickly . Our waitress did not do a good job of explaining how the restaurant worked or did not explain that we could order special cuts at the cooking level we wanted . Our first order of filet Mignon was over cooked . Once we figured out we could order it medium we ordered that way and it was much better . Our waitress seemed disengaged , not friendly and did not even offer us the desert tray . Salad bar was awesome and very fresh. I am not sure I would try your restaurant again or recommended it to my family or friends . Disappointed with the experience . Thank you for allowing me to voice my opinion
Started off bad because of slow meat service. The waitress must have seen the disappointment on my face because she asked what was wrong. I told her and she took care of it. The rest of the night was wonderful. She turned a potential disappointing night into a great birthday dinner.
If you are not very hungry or have a big appetite it may not be worth the price. Also all of the meat that we recieved was very tender although med well. I prefer my steaks med rare.
First time visiting the restaurant. Everything listed on the salad bar was present. The servers were constantly bringing the meat listed. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience.
Besides the gnats everywhere, my boyfriend and I were first timers and had an amazing experience. It was his birthday and he enjoyed every food selection. The food was delicious and we will be back very soon.
Need to hire Pest Control to get rid of the fruit flies too many fruit flies all over the Cold bar you're paying good money for your food you shouldn't have to deal with fruit flies in your face and over your food
Used Groupon and went with family to celebrate a birthday. Food was fresh and tasty. There is a nice variety of sides to choose from at the salad bar. There was an endless parade of skewer loaded with juicy cuts of lamb, sirloin, sausage and chicken. Servers were polite and helpful. Great dinning experience. Recommend
So that have a gnat/fly problem. Tons of the food items on the bar were covered with blue cloth napkins. The gnats/fly issue was also around our table as we were seated near the bar/buffet area. Honestly I lost count how many times I was waving my arms around trying to get the gnat/fly away from my table and food. Honestly we should have just left but it was our anniversary dinner and didn't think it was going to be a big issue. (Wrong) I also even asked my waitress for a fan to help alleviate the issue. She said she has asked management about that but no fans.
As for the food on the bar. Its was okay nothing really special that stood out and impressed me by any means. I asked what made the "Brazilian Potato Salad" Brazilian and the same with the "Brazilian Chicken Salad" as they simply tasted like Walmart Potato Salad and the Chicken Salad tasted like a Tuna Salad. The Waitress tried to find out with no avail and said she hears the comment= Chicken Salad tastes like Tuna Salad all the time.
The Meat from the Gouchos....Well upon seating at the table the waitress asked how we prefer out meats cooked. Answer= Medium I promise every single meat brought to our table was either RAW like even my husband wouldn't eat it and he eats everything or it was so Well Done it was like Shoe Leather. At one point a Goucho came over and asked me what meats I would like because I kept passing on everyone that came by. He was nice enough to bring me Medium cooked Filet Mignon.
The Desserts...man those looked so delicious and my husband picked out the Turtle Cheesecake from the block display that she brought to our table. Just a fair warning the SIZE you see on the display for $7 each is totally NOT the size that was brought to our table. It was seriously half the size. It tasted divine however, for $7 um absolutely not.
Sadly, we will not return to this specific Brazilian Restaurant in the future very disappointed with this specific restaurant.
I was not at all pleased. The nats were horrible and all over the food. It was not worth the money and the food was really bland.
Made reservation and still had to wait. The dining area was very congested. not a lot of variety on the salad bar. They did not have enough servers to bring out the food. Kept running out of meats before they got to our table. We had an awesome waitress who had to keep going to the back to get them to bring us out meats. Atmosphere is very dark, gloomy and dingy. Needs a whole new makeover from floor up to the staff. The price was not even worth a dime of which we paid. Never going there again and I don't recommend this place to anyone.
This was another visit to Cowboys and I have to sadly say that our impression did not get any better. Upon arrival it took 10 minutes to get a table even though we had a reservation. Once there we informed our waitress that we prefer medium rare meat. None of the meat that was served during the dinner was medium rare... well-done only... the flavor was also unimpressive. It took a long time to get any meat at all actually... this has been our experience the previous times also so I don’t think we will be coming back.
This was our second visit. The first was a few years ago, and we were pleased at that time. This time the salad bar seemed to have fewer items. Or things like artichokes, herring, and ripe olives, were replaced by different items. The meats were either over cooked or under cooked. The lamb chops were good. The chicken and beef very dry. The pork ribs undercooked, but ok. The beef rib was a pieced of sliced beef, well done, from the prime rib. Not much flavor. Not to sound pretentious, but I have been to Rio and experienced this type of restaurant at the source. Vastly different preperation of foods.
I took my husband for Father's Day dinner, and he was very pleased it with the experience. I thought he would not be able to eat as much as he did, but he made it to dessert and coffee!
We go all the time. Very disappointed. Requested items that nevet came and did not get our moneys worth. We saw meats going by, but they nevet came to our table. Offered the same thing over and over. Waited 35 mins for pineapple and saw it go by several times. We usually love this place, but not this time. And the price went up on top of it!
Service was terrible the food was very sporadic coming out and had to go find the wait staff multiple times. This was a terrible experience for our group of area firefighters.
We visited for my husband's 40th birthday on Tuesday, and we wanted to love it. Parts of it, we did. The service was good, and the dessert was great. However I and two of my children were sick all night after eating here. It's two days later and we're just starting to feel better. We were the first table sat for the night, not sure if there was something that wasn't cooked warm enough or what but the kids especially were really upset about being sick after eating at such a fun restaurant because they have no desire to go back right now. I'm not pleased with having spent that much money and getting sick. :(
Great family dining experience
Great food service and atmosphere! You will not leave hungry and you may need someone to wheel you to your car!
The staff was great and food was too. Great for family gathering. Definitely a LOT of different meats to try so need to be hungry.
We were rushed. And only visited 6 times with meat. Not happy with this experience. Tried to reach out to management twice and was ignored.
We thoroughly enjoyed our evening. Our waitress was excellent and very attentive to the needs of our group which ranged in age from 10 to 70. We will certainly be back for future celebrations.
Our waiter was really nice (her second day on the job) and the food tasted good, but the amount of time my mother had to wait for servers to bring the meat was excessive. On more than one occasion, 1-2 servers skipped our table completely (although the "green" card was visible). It could have been the placement of our table, but they should have been more careful to ensure they visited the customers. This was my mother's birthday dinner and given the amount of money we spent, she should not have had a bad experience. Again, our waiter was good and the food was tasty, but some of the meat servers definitely had poor customer service.
I loved the place, it was clean and cozy, food was super delicious and the meat selection was wonderful. I raved on my Facebook page about the food.
The table that we reserved was ready for us when we arrived, which was great. The salad bar was average and the meat selection that was brought to us was below average. I had one piece of steak that was decent and I never saw that person or the selection of meat again. We waited at one point 15 minutes for a waiter or waitress to bring more meat to our table. We finally were so fed up with our experience we got up and talked to a manager and left. They did not charge us for the meat but we paid for the salad bar and wine. The salad bar was not worth it, the only thing enjoyable was the bottle of wine. Additionally, the bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. They were so bad that it caused my wife to lose her appetite and set the mood for the rest of the evening. My wife and I both agreed that we will never try this place again. The overall experience was terrible and I would never recommend this place.
This was a great experience! the staff was attentive and helpful and brought us all of the things we enjoyed! we will be back!!
Food was very good. Not somewhere I'd want to have dinner on a regular basis but great when you're looking for something different or for special occasions.
Restaurant was not crowded, however, we had to wait to get served the meats, and had to ask for certain items. We didn’t even get every meat that is advertised and the meat we did eat, had NO flavor. Chicken was dry and tough to chew. Salad bar was ok, but nothing special. We won’t be back! Side note: The turtle cheese cake is the only thing worth going for. What a disappointment!
This was my first time visiting this restaurant, and both my wife and I were pleased. The restaurant was recommended by a co-worker some time ago, and I waited until a Living Social coupon came available. It was a good deal, but I gladly would pay full price the next time we come. A very nice change from the chain restaurants. The food was very good, and the service was great.
My wife and I stop in Cowboy as often as possible. The ambiance and our ability to enjoy a meal in a cozy spot that feels more posh than other equally priced restaurants makes it a "no-brainer" when we have celebrations or Special events, like this Mother's Day. We love the personal touch of having the owner and his family in the restaurant, ensuring that everything is always up to par.
Was there to celebrate Mother's Day with my mom, girlfriend, sister-in-law, and niece. The meat selections were very good and matched very well with the hot/salad bar. The service was exceptional, we were treated like royalty.
We made a reservation for our wedding anniversary (which happened to be on Mother's Day), thinking that it wouldn't be terribly busy since Cowboy doesn't really give off a "kid vibe" compared to other restaurants. That said, I'm glad we made the reservation because it was PACKED. We were seated almost immediately and while there were kids at the restaurant (something I've never seen before), they were not a problem and I didn't feel like their presence detracted from my adult time like I do at some restaurants I've been to. It was a little loud, but not overbearing. The meat was good, the salad bar was solid, and our waiter, Eduardo, was superb. Honestly, I don't think I've ever gotten the desserts at previous visits, but I will from here on out, they were devine!
Great buffet with lots of choices. Awesome taste. Meat was tasty.
I had a 2:30pm reservation, showed up at 2:20 and was told that my reservation was already seated. It was Mother’s Day and we had drive over 90 minutes to enjoy a great lunch with my mother in law. Spoke to the manager, Amanda, and she had all types of excuses. “It was busy” “Sometimes tables are not available because others hadn’t left” etc. I explained that I understood if someone was taking longer to eat, but the hostess had given someone else our reservation. We were eventually seated, but this was after the hostess had somehow made my wife feel it was her fault. I spoke to the “manager” and she stated she would look into it. But she never came back to apologize or anything. This was by far my worse experience using opentable. I would definitely be cautious when making reservations at this restaurant as they are not concerned about their customers.
