Great, funky space with good people watching. We had a group for Saturday night dinner and were not disappointed. Staff is informed and friendly.

Overpriced, disappointing, bland food and terrible service.
When I booked here via Open Table, it said 'Hurry, only 4 tables left". But when we arrived, the restaurant was empty and we could choose any seat we wanted. This was on a regular Tuesday at 6.30 pm. We ordered happy hour wine and 2 appetizers, but the scene didn't change, so we ended up leaving to seek up another place more lively. The mushroom flatbread and the asparagus appetizers were delicious, and they do have free wifi.
I love writing reviews for meals this good.
First of all, when you walk in, the smell of searing burgers and cooking meat is spectacular.
I'm currently on a high-protein diet. This was the place to go.
Started with the miso ginger salad and the mussels in white wine. Oh, so good.
Didn't get the skewers or any of other small plates this time but they were great a few weeks ago.
Spent a long time trying to decide if we wanted to share the bone-in rib eye. It looked great on the table next door. In stead, we went with the skirt steak and the ribs. Delicious. Our only disappointment was that the side of broccoli was a little small.
Enjoyed a couple of cocktails (Columbo and Chipotle Pineapple Margarita) and skipped dessert.

I came here a couple of Saturdays ago for Brunch on a blind date. I will be needing a do over. So I will bring some family, friends, and maybe another date here. Although in Williamsburg it is kind of away from the cluster of other restaurants. I do like the industrial look and the wood burning oven that you can cozy up to and sit by the island they have in front of it. I had the Smoked Duck Benedict. I had one sangria and it was great. I will have more to report once I come back here again. I really didn't get a chance to observe the rest of the establishment. I like details. I was pressed for time and the person I met had to report to work and could not take advantage of the unlimited sangrias. Brunch is not brunch with out a brunch cocktail (mimosa, bellina, bloody Mary). I did like the atmosphere, nice vibes, and how attentive our waitress and the host was.
Overall nice spot. 'Will surely visit again in the near future.
Lovely restaurant. Went for brunch with a gf and it was fresh and delicious but a bit bland. Would love to see more variety on the menu as well. Overall, yummy and fun.
This was our second time to Cow & Clover. The service was great both times, and the food was outstanding. The bacon appetizer was so great I could have eaten 20 of them. The duck and branzino were perfectly cooked. Can't wait to go back for brunch next time!
Can accommodate large groups without feeling too crowded. Generous and proactive with the unlimited brunch mimosas. Great comfort food. Would definitely go back.
Food was fantastic! Ambiance was great. However, if was 9pm on a Friday night we were the only table there... seriously. The Mac and Cheese was probably the best I have ever had, however we paid $4 more for bacon and we only had a couple bites where we actually had a small piece of bacon... the the actual mac and cheese I will dream about 😻 a pitty it was so dead.
We went there for brunch after looking at a list for boozy brunch. The food is SO damn good! We got the bottomless mimosas and the server didn't hold back. She was awesome all around; very friendly and funny and so helpful with suggestions. But back to the food...SO DAMN GOOD!
Boozy brunch was fantastic! They were very quick at topping us up and my glass never ran empty :) Food, staff and service were all superb.
So we drove to Brooklyn to try Cow and Clover for a celebration for our son. Everything we ate that night was simply delicious. The food was meticulously prepared, not pretentious at all, just a very good meal. The staff were quite friendly. We will return!
Our former vegetarian waitress suggested the C&C burger. Damn fine burger!! And good fries. A great find!
I can't wait to go back!! I got the ceaser salad and burger with fries then the cookie platter for dessert. It was all AMAZING. Also, the waitress was the absolute coolest.
The restaurant was very large and it seemed like we were the only ones there. Definitely no need to make reservations. This is especially true because since I made reservations here through open table, Cow and Clover has now added me to some email list that does not have an unsubscribe option. I don't know who to be more annoyed with, the restaurant or Open Table.
I have zero complaints the food the drinks and the service were perfect
Our server Judith was amazing, so informative and attentive. Always had a smile on her face and was very inviting. The food is 5 stars, we opted as a party of 6 to just order loads of food and share it family style. Music was on point and ambience was great! Thank you!

Exactly what you'd expect in hipster land. Imaginative food, great setting, very nice staff, no one over 35 years old (except me). Cool all the way around. Service a bit slow, but very pleasant so no worries. Look forward to returning.
Went with a group of 8, we all shared several appetizers that were all very good. The cocktails are great! I loved the Columbo, it has a great unique kick with the infused peppercorn vodka that I truly enjoyed! We all ordered the special ribeye steak for two. Temperature was perfect and it was flavored well.
It was outstanding. That is all.
The food was was delicious, the bottomless mimosas were flowing and topped up in a timely manner, service was excellent. Highly recommended.
Steak and Egg is a most try and the unlimited mimosas are amazing.
Our staff was amazing we had a slight hiccup with the seating arrangement and they helped us immensely.

Cow and Clover never fails to impress. We've been coming here for over a year now and the staff is always so incredibly sweet and the food always has us coming back for more. Great location on the river makes it easy to get to from Manhattan. Can't wait to come back!

Everything i've ever ordered her is outstanding! I've gone now for both brunch and dinner and had a wonderful time at a really small price for what you get. The portions are huge.
The dining room is spacious and trendy. Our server was polite and very knowledgeable too.
The avocado toast and the chicken and egg were two of the best things I've eaten in a long time. The space is nice, relaxed vibe, overall good evening. Highly recommend

This was the first time at Cow and Clover. The food was amazing but the service was not. The staff was super friendly and nice, but the service didn't match the food. I would recommend as long as you aren't in a rush.
Let's be fair...we were there for Mother's Day. The food was delicious but the four of us at the table got each part of the meal at a different time. As a result, we all ate at different times. I was told it was because of a new chef by the server and the bartender said they were trying a new system. Hmmm, which is the truth? And why on Mother's Day? We sat down at our table when we arrived. The restaurant was busy but there were available tables. By the time we were done eating two hours later the restaurant was empty. We were dying to leave and there was our server holding my credit card talking at the table with the owner. I had to take my credit card and bill out of his hand to pay at the bar. Really??? I was definitely too generous on the tip in retrospect. The white roses for Mother's Day was a nice gesture. I hope the chef get's the new system together.
We went for Mother's Day brunch. Food was good, not great as was the service. Nothing really to complain about but nothing to go out of your way for. Had the "pork hash" which was mostly potatoes with VERY LITTLE pork. Another member of our group had the burger which was good but need some garnish like some lettuce and tomato. We expected better. The pastry basket was the best part of the meal.
