Covino's Pasta & Pizza is a casual Italian eatery. This family-owned restaurant first opened its doors in 1951 under the direction of Nick Covino who ran it primarily by himself. It wasn't until 1990 that Nick's son Joe joined the family business by opening his own restaurant. Corvino's specializes in Italian comfort food and simple, yet delicious, rustic dishes. Diners should note that Corvino's is closed between 2:30 and 4:00 to switch from lunch to dinner service.Corvino's menu starts with appetizers like fried calamari, mozzarella sticks, garlic bread and chicken wings that have been called "The Best In Town" by several local publications. Some of the entrées that diners can enjoy here include NewYork-style thin crust pizza, Chicago-style deep dish pizza, calzones, stromboli, mussels marinara and sandwiches like Joe's sub with capicola ham, salami, provolone, tomato, lettuce, grated romano and a made-from-scratch Italian dressing.
