Covey Grill features a casual elegance with its indoor and outdoor dining located alongside the natural backdrop of Quail's sparkling pond and lush gardens. Our Carmel, CA restaurant is proudly guided in the principles of sustainability by the Monterey Bay Aquarium Seafood Watch and focuses on local farm to table options.

We offer a variety of menus throughout the week between our two restaurants, Covey Grill and Edgar's Restaurant.
Wednesday Dinners Chef Goran exquisitely curates our Love Thy Neighbor menu each week, a unique three-course dinner for $59++. 5PM-9PM every Wednesday.
We offer our Sunday Dinners from Edgar's Restaurant with a unique menu curated with our Quail Lodge Golf Members favorite items from 5PM-9PM every Sunday.

We enjoyed a very nice dinner outside overlooking the lake on a very nice evening. They did have outdoors heaters for when it cooled down. We had the Heirloom tomatoes and burrata, and the beef & courgette skewers for appetizers and they were fresh, cooked perfectly and delicious. We could have stopped with those 2 items, but also ordered the whole roasted branzino, the roasted salmon, and the 14oz pork chop. All were very good and cooked perfectly and the items were hot. So happy we dined there and can't wait to return.

The food has changed over the past six months and the farm to table offering is no longer available or not emphasized as in the past. Need an update on menu and new options.

My husband had the hamburger which he said was excellent and I had the branzino which was also yummy. My one suggestion would be to offer a small basic dinner salad which used to be offered. The service was also great and our waiter was very attentive. A very nice evening.

Service is consistently excellent. Food ranges from good to great, but never disappoints. Remodel is a significant upgrade. Worth a visit, especially on Wednesday night special dining.

Service was slow and forgotten at times. Entrees served without clearing appetizer plates. Food runner asked us to set app plates aside. Should be a lot better for that price. No up sell on drinks, had to ask for second round. I am local and not going back, there is better around.

Cute cozy restaurant at Quail Lodge. Overlooks a little romantic pond. Lots of appetizers but mains are a bit limited. That being said, I had the ribeye and it was fantastic! A couple more fish options would be great but the food that they offer is fresh and delicious!
