   A lovely afternoon at Cove Cafe, Intercontinental Sanctuary Cove. Beautiful presentation, delish treats. A refreshing welcome tea to begin. Just 2 downs 1. Avery noisy table next to us made hearing talk difficult 2. Very slow to ask about drinks and very slow to bring to the table. However apart from those 2 downers it was a very pleasant experience.

   We booked for people and had the confirmation, but the hotel had a table prepared for two. The confirmation email was shown to the staff. The waitress kept asking if we needed more drinks, when a full bottle of wine sat on the table. The NYE buffet was a down scaled version of the Christmas Eve and Christmas buffets and definitely not value for money.

   The food was fantastic plenty to choose from. The staff was very friendly and helpful everything looked lovely when we walked in. Overall the stay has been great as usual.

   I haven't been to high tea at Sanctuary Cove for some time, but I decided to give it another go. From the moment I arrived I was pleasantly surprised. The greeting was warm and the welcome drink on arrival was delicious. They took note of my request for no seafood which was really appreciated. Everything tasted amazing except for the apple tartin. Other than that everything exceeded my expectations. Thanks, I'll be back!

   I would not recommend the High Tea. Nice location but would have to be the most ordinary food we have ever had. In addition, there was no parking available so had to walk almost a kilometre.

   The cafe is quite dated although still well maintained. Our table was against a large pillar with a main walkway behind us. Lacked atmosphere and the high tea was ok but certainly not great. Staff were very friendly and very busy

   Fabulous all round. Service, food and ambience. Highly recommend. Made our Mother’s Day experience fabulous.

    Went for mother's day high tea (day before). We followed signs that we thought were related and got lost. Food was good. Table service was average. Spilled wine on the table due to mismatched heights of the two tables put together. Was a whole process and confusion just to get it set back up. Even then, missing cutlery, plates and drinks. Then, when asked what tea we wanted from the menu, we were told the ones we picked weren't available. Sold put already and it wasn't even Mother's day. Food was nice. Probably could've been more simpler options for the kids. Staff were also nice, although seemed a bit nervous. We weren't angry or frustrated at all during the above so not sure why. Might be because they were less experienced. Considering the high price we paid for this experience, I would've expected better in all aspects. I wouldn't recommend the high tea for mother's day in the future unless they drop their prices given the service and food quality.
