    My recent brunch at Counter Culture was a treat!! The menu offerings were great, causing a bit of difficulty choosing a meal! The eggs were prepared as ordered, and the grits were so incredibly yummy- very different than elsewhere. Caleb was a wonderful server and took good care of us. I only wish there was a way to control the noise level---

    Upon arrival we found parking to be a problem. But we did find a spot one block away. Customers need more direction about where to park, with SIGNS. We were seated right away and liked the table location. Our waitress was adorable but the service was not very good. Our take was that it was not her fault, not enough waiters. There should be salt and pepper on the table. We shouldn't have to ask for it and WAIT!!! We liked the food and the bill was reasonable. We try lots of restaurants in town and usually make the decision to not go back. But, despite everything we will return to Counter Culture. There was definitely something we liked about it.

    We ordered the key west shrimp and patatas bravas. The shrimp were a little overdone and the patatas could have used more bean sauce for our liking. The rabbit pasta was tasty but some of the pasta was clumped together maybe not enough flower when cutting it. snapper was a little bland but everything else on the dish was good. Might come back for happy hour to try some other dishes was hoping for a little mor being a sister restaurant of Edison.

    Went last month and service was excellent as was food. Booked again for my girlfriends birthday brunch and unfortunately did not have the same experience. Service was incredibly slow, to the point where we tried to go to the bar to get our own drinks because it had been over 20 minutes since we ordered. I understand they were busy, but this is something they should be accustomed to. food was still excellent, but service was not to the level that I would expect for this type of establishment. Not sure if I’ll be back.

    We had a great time, great server, great wine server, manager was nice, one of the chefs came out to say hi. Only complaint is all of the steak knives were dull for each course (for entire party).

    Monday night date. It's not often we are surprised by food offerings in South Florida. We were pleasantly surprised here. The Squash soup with the cherries and gorgonzola - Wow. The snapper was prepared well with crispy skin & boniato mash. I thought noisette were hazelnuts and we got pine nuts which were fine. The Scallops were prepared rare as ordered. The challenge was the timing - they were cold when they hit the table. We will be back to try more.

    We both did the 5-course tasting menu with wine pairing. I'm a pescatarian. One of the courses had pork. The chef swapped out the pork for me with tofu. It was perfect! Service was great. I highly recommend sitting at the kitchen counter. We love watching the cooks in action!

    Went for brunch because it was rated as a top spot. Perhaps we got unlucky with the order, but I wouldn’t go back. The Spanish tortilla with chorizo was not what it was supposed to be…it was an omelette with home fries on the side with tiny amount of a tasty tomato sauce and crumbs of chorizo at least that’s what I tell myself. Tte Cuban toast didn’t even have butter 🤣 A total disappointment! The chocolate brioche was better but be warned the brioche is sliced thin like sandwich bread. Not sure why anyone would do that. 🤔

    Tremendous meal and experience celebrating an anniversary at Counter Culture. Server Madeline and manager Rod had great recommendations. Yellowtail Snapper was a highlight. Seared yellow fun tender enough to slice with a butter knife. Pureed potato with onion and shiitake also exceptional. Wine list had great choices from accessible to adventurous. Decided we'll do the 5 course with wine pairing when we return which will be soon.

    Fantastic service, great food and a worthy happy hour! Good service always improves a dining experience and last night was no exception. Wish I remembered his name. I had a delicious, fresh snapper that was cooked perfectly and had the perfect accompaniments on the plate. Others in my party enjoyed the scallop and rabbit pappardelle entrees and my husband had the happy hour bento box. Overall a beautiful view, delicious food and outstanding service! We’ll be back!!

    Normally I love counter culture but this visit they lost their AC. I would normally be okay with it but it was so hot and no one came over to apologize or acknowledge it. It’s too expensive of a restaurant not to acknowledge it.

    Terrific experience, all around. The wait staff and bartenders were all super friendly, attentive and knew the menu items well. We tried 6 or 7 small plates - all were prepared to our liking and we weren't disappointed in any of them. Delicious! We'll undoubtedly return to dine again!

    Very disappointing Father’s Day brunch. Kitchen was really behind, not enough high chairs, waitress was flustered and manager wasn’t receptive to our frustrations. My husband and I didn’t eat. It was a disaster. The table next to us told us to “be prepared for the long haul” and even offered us food bc the kitchen was so behind. Very disheartening and ruined our brunch that we reserved over a month ago.

    Outdoor seating with no fans and an umbrella that didn’t block sun. Selection on menu was good. Three course sounded better than it tasted. Crab bisque- phenomenal. Steak was over cooked. Grits were great. Banana foster was amazing.

    Our first time eating at Counter Culture and we will definitely return!! It was more than just a dinner, it was a true dining experience! We sat at the counter and in front of the chefs where all the action takes place, immediately received a complimentary appetizer to welcome us, it was delicious - so much fun. Our food was amazing - such a creative menu, along with creative cocktails, a great wine list and incredible desserts, we loved all of our choices! We shared the ricotta filled Donuts..... amazing!!! Highly recommend and we will be back!

    What a yummy experience. From the appetizer to the dessert it was simply flavorful and delicious. We had a larger group and basically tried the whole menu. The flavors we complementary and melted in your mouth. Highly recommend, will be back again soon.
