I was disappointed King Crab Legs were not on the menu. We’ve dined there before and I was looking forward to them. Is it possible to get the butter warmer over a flame for the crab legs, please?

It was my husband's birthday, he requested to go there six weeks ago, we order and the waiter comes and inform us that lamb chops are not on the menu today, this was very disappointing, (IT'S HIS FAVORITE) the reason for going.

Everything was great but unfortunately the Open Table reservation made on your website wasn’t honored as the restaurant said it never got the reservation? Thankfully we had our reservation confirmation number so they honored it but we did have to wait.

The service was fast and efficient. The staff was friendly and appeared well trained. The food was just kind of so so for the price charged. I’ve been to the Councel Oak in the Tampa Hard Rock many times and the food was always great there. While that was several years ago, perhaps the Hard Rock has changed vendors for their meats or they have moved to a lesser quality cut. Either way, if you are expecting a very flavorful steak at this venue, you will be disappointed.

During our stay we ate 2 times and enjoyed our meals. Service was top notch. Was not happy to see or eat with a dog at table next to us. to me unhealthy. was not a service dog!!!!!!!!

Outstanding dinner! The Oysters Rockefeller are my absolute favorite. Always cooked perfectly with a toasted top and creamy in the middle. Calamari and shrimp cocktail also fantastic. We added a 6 ounce lobster tail to our filets not realizing that it was too much food to finish! Luckily we had 4 people to share the apps with us. We shared the au gratin potatoes and creamed spinach - both wonderful. No room for dessert but maybe next time. Service was impeccable and overall a great evening

The waiter was not nice to us. He then switched and gave our table to another waiter who was nice (original waiter never explained he was giving us off). He was very dry but original waiter WAS nice to the table next to ours. He was laughing with those guests but not us. He barely spoke to us. He also dismissed my stepfather when he spoke to him (who has dementia by the way). The waiter stopped talking and did not answer the question to my stepfather, and it was very awkward and uncomfortable. Although maybe not intended, it felt like the waiter had zero interest in us, almost to the point of discrimination (as we were Latinos and the table next to us was caucasians). Despite the fact we have plenty of money to eat at your restaurant and went with intention of celebrating my mothers bday (which I requested for them to sing happy bday but he did not make much of an effort at all), his lack of attention and intentionality came off dismissive and apathetic. I recommend if your waiters will treat people based on their personal bias, they should clock out, reflect before applying to a different establishment. The high level of guest service expected at your level of cuisine is expected. You never know who will walk into your restaurant and who knows who. You never know who could feature your restaurant in a publication, and who can cancel you in an instant. The waiter could’ve had an even larger tip had he just pretended he cared about us for an hour. It is not difficult. Please do better. Please understand all families want to have an elevated experience in a place like yours. Please do better for others. Thank you for your time.

Layden, our server, was miserable. Ignored our table while tending to the table next to ours. The oysters rockefeller were inedible, the bacon was grisly and chewy. My friend's steak was good he said. We used to go often, before the restaurant was rebuilt. Never again. Very disappointing.

DISAPPOINTING:-( We went to Council Oak to celebrate a special birthday; however, my steak that was supposed to be medium, came back rare and cold so my husband got to eat his birthday dinner by himself while I waited for my steak to be corrected. Our waiter was awful. We constantly had to flag him down. He was so bad that the waiter next to us, Edgardo, pitched in and brought us drinks, hot towels, and a birthday dessert and our check. We were so mad that we had to tip a waiter who only took our order. What a bad birthday dinner, so upset.

We booked an early dinner (17:30) as we had a show to see at 19:30. Our service was great, however our server must have misunderstood our ordering requests. For some reason our appetizers and our entrees came out at the same time. Our food also came out 10 minutes after ordering which was odd. Clearly wasn’t cooked fresh. The plates were cold, and central portions of our actual foods were cold. Multiple dishes. So it seemed to me they pre-made things and then just tried to heat them up for us as the edges were warm but centers were not. Management came out to speak with us (did not request this) and comped out wine which was nice, as we didn’t have any expectations to have any part of the meal taken care of. This is my 4th time at this restaurant and the only time I’ve had a poor experience. Unfortunate as I raved about this place to my mother, and it was her first experience there…

Made a reservation for a friends birthday, but the fact that it was her birthday wasn’t even addressed by the waiter. The waiter did not seem to be in a good mood. His service reflected his bad mood (rushed taking our orders, didn’t go over the menu with us, didn’t ask us if we’ve ever been there before, placed our orders incorrectly, charged us incorrectly). Having been our first time, we didn’t really have a good impression of the restaurant.

The food and service was excellent as always, the noise level was ridiculous, there were 4 of us and we had to yell across the table to communicate, we did complain and I think they did turn the rock music down but the acoustics with all the people was still extremely loud. Not what I’m looking for on an upscale dinner out.

We came early to see a show. Ordered our appetizers at 6pm. At 6:30 we started complaining to server and manager. Appetizers came aut at 6:50. We sent them back and asked that the steaks would come out asap. In about 10 minutes, the steaks came out and all cooked wrong. The manager had no excuse and paid for our drinks. Service was totally horrible. I have been there before, Service was great and food amazing. Can chalk it off to an off night but everyone around us was served properly and timely.

Place has really been redone beautifully, both the food and the restaurant itself. It was one of the best meals I have had in a long time. The service was terrific too. A little pricey, but we got what we paid for.
