   Restaurant was closed! Hotel staff said it was closed even for special outdoor seating which we expected. Didn’t get to experience anything!!!

   The said they were taking g reservations from this app. We just happened to get a table because we had a rock royalty card. They should not allow people to make reservations on this app if they are not going to honor them

   Received email to confirm reservations the previous day. Confirmed reservation and received confirmation. Arrive at restaurant at designated time to find out restaurant is not open. Restaurant was informed earlier during the week that the establishment could not open for dine in seating, but yet they allowed their system to send out confirmation emails to confirm reservation.

   Loved it! This was such a great experience. We went for the restaurant week in AC and had a delightful meal. The steak was perfect and the sides were amazing. The bacon could have easily been too salty but it was perfect. Drinks were wonderful!

   WAY overpriced for a caesar salad, one crab cake, one leg of octopus, 6 oz of salmon and a dessert. 4 oz wine pour only? We will not be back.

    This was our second visit to Council Oak as it was great last time. This time we were dissatisfied as they limited our menu choices under a Travelzoo voucher (last visit they allowed us to pick any entree and pay the difference between the $36 max and cost of the items). Of the few choices we made the food was very good but portions were small, and prices are SO expensive (cheapest steak is $50). We discussed with the manager the issue with the voucher, and he apologized for the matter, essentially blaming Travelzoo, but he did offer to comp us on two drinks to make up for it. I cannot recommend this place as you get such low value for your purchase, and would not return unless I had a deal or very deep pockets.
