Loved the food & the ambience. The quality of the food was great and the service was excellent!!
Everything was Amazing took my mom here for her birthday and she loved it! The cottages are so cute! Love the fact that we have our own little space. Food was amazing 👏. The service as well.
Great place for a quiet night out , will definitely come back
Such a great experience at Savoca! The cottages were closed on the Thursday we went, but was not an issue for us. The dining room inside the hotel is spacious and we felt very safe regarding covid and eating inside. Mark, our waiter was wonderful and very attentive! Food was delicious and filling and the cocktails were great too. Definitely try their new summer cavatteli pasta! They served us two desserts for the anniversary we were celebrating and they were both delicious! Definitely recommend Savoca and I will be coming back soon!!
Wonderful evening. Out waitress was attentive. Food was was delicious. Out
Cottage was homey and sweet! Loved it!!
There were 5 of us and we shared 14 or so dishes from salads to desserts. Food was excellent and our server was great. We were seated in one of the "cottages" outside the building and it was cozy and comfortable even though the outdoor temperature was chilly. We will definitely go back.
Came here for my wedding day dinner and had a great time! Great ambiance, food, and service.
Amazing experience here! Our server Caroline was the best. She was so sweet and attentive. Perfect personality and was always keeping on eye on us when she walked by to make sure we were doing okay. She even split the appetizer and had it plated seperately because we were sharing. The food was well cooked and flavorful.
Literally my first review in Open Table, grateful for all the feedback here that made me decide to try Savoca. Since Savoca is fairly new, I hope this will help you go check out this place out. Love the idea of secluded glass house style cottages that is both intimate and private. Due to pandemic surroundings wasn’t as loud which was another plus and something we are not used to in normal LA Live setting. The food, drinks, service and overall ambiance was exceptional! Tried handful of items in menu, since it was so straight forward, simple and affordable. Fun part. Let’s talk about the drinks. Tried the Limone, LA Sunset and Lilikoi. Whoever was the bartender- wow! Who doesn’t like a perfect fruity drink with the right amount of alcohol? Sometimes drinks can be hit or miss, as they can be too strong. Not this place! It was so good we had 2 rounds! Food was amazing, reminded me of my trip to Italy where I enjoyed the best food. Love the idea of “Produced in Italy, designed in California” I feel like that is true with every authentic bite in Savoca. I hope you try this hidden gem in Downtown and they don’t get rid of the cottages whenever we get back to normal again.
Food was delicious.
Service was great.
Great place with family, friends, and couples :)))
Super cute idea for a date! Food is yummy too. Def recommend it.
So cute with the little greenhouses! They were actually very nice to be in; outside in the beautiful weather, but sheltered from wind and didn’t have to hear other people’s conversations. It wasn’t busy at all when we went, yet yard house around the corner was packed. The food was really good and the staff was friendly and professional. If we lived closer we would go more often.
Our servers were superb!!! Will definitely return...
Such a beautiful, unique and romantic setting! We ate at The Cottages at Savoca for our anniversary dinner and it was a truly wonderful experience, highly recommend!
Seating guests in individual greenhouses is a brilliant idea. COVID safety aside, it's a great way to create an intimate, quiet atmosphere while still being able to see the other "cottages" and feel like you're among a community. The service and food were also very good, but it's the cottage concept that will definitely draw us back again.
Perfect, the food was flavorful & enjoyable. Esp the ambiance in our mini cottages, safe from the world in our own bubble. So much fun and everyone was super friendly. Tysm for a great dining experience, See photos
Our server was very familiar with the menu and made helpful recommendations. Dinner was excellent. The cottage was cute and intimate and quiet. Great experience, We will come back.
Our server was friendly & knowledgeable.
She suggested us amazing dining choices.
We loved the cottages idea, and the music that comes from the Staples Center made us feel happy !
It was a cold night but we got blankets and that made it perfect
You get a personal tent. It would be a little nicer to be able to see the outside but the environment is still cute
The concept of dining in your own private space is fantastic! The lights from the LA Live billboards set a certain ambiance. We had early, 6 pm, dinner reservations which made everything quiet. My guess, is that if we weren’t in Covid times the aluminum framed cottage and plastic enclosure would provide for a fair amount of privacy and muffling of the surrounding atmosphere. There is a space heater in the cottage for warmth. What I didn’t understand was that one-off the plastic wall sides was removed, allowing the cold air back in.
We ordered off of the DineLA menu, which as you know is a great introduction to a new restaurant but is somewhat limited in choices. The food was simple but good. We had the pork meatballs, roasted beet salad, Bucatini cacio e Pepe, Mary’s chicken Milanese and both the olive oil cake and chocolate torta. As with all outdoor dining during this season, our food cooled off faster than we’d have liked it to. My one complaint is that the olive oil cake was much drier than I’m used to for any olive oil cake. The chocolate torta though was fantastic. It had a very nice bitter sweetness to it that wasn’t overpowering.
Loved the cottages. Service was excellent, food was great.
Great place, great ambiance. Burrata and short rib were delicious! The bolegnese on the other hand, too much overcooked meat and the sauce tasted like it needed to cook more and the entire dish needed more seasoning. But overall great place and can't wait to go back
Had a great meal and loved the little greenhouse we sat in. There was even a small electric heater to keep us warm. Food was really awesome and very friendly staff. A little pricey but would definitely go back!
Excellent customer service. The food was fresh and really delicious. The outdoor seating was just right. Nice private feeling with an excellent view. Will definitely come back!
Our experience was cut short due to the high winds and overall cold weather. But amazing place. We will be back
Our server took forever to bring my husband's drink and when it finally came out the drink wasn't as expected. It was really strong. He did try his best to compensate him with a shot of tequila. I think more servers are needed. But over all we would go back again my pizza was very delicious just what the server recommended.
Only option available at JW Marriott during Pandemic
The food is great bar food . I was underwhelmed with the Cesar Salad with chicken as it is very bland. The wings and pizza are great just wish the wings could be cooked more as in well done. I love the cork fee of $25.00 so not only is this a good place to watch sports but a chill vibe outdoor dining experience. Danny and Jose are the BEST!!! Ask for them . I like being able to actually watch the game without the element the YARDHOUSE has.... I do wish tacos where back on the menu and that sliders where an option as well.
I like that you can reserve a table which is great . I only had one issue with my table and that is when the OWNER of LA LIVE and JW wanted my table .... The man has more money than.... Anyway they gave me another table and drink so I was okay with my new table
nice date night spot. Drinks were pretty pricey but thats covid for you
This patio dining is located under some extremely bright and massive electronic billboards, which were flashing and changing colors constantly. We ate at night, but could have used sunglasses. As such, the ambience was pretty grating. The food was OK, although my burger was rubbery and I only ate about half. The fries were great, and the service was great. But I would not go back again. Also was quite pricey.
Place was almost empty due to Coronavirus. But food was excellent and service very good. Wine list is bit limited.
Great food. Service was slow. Maybe because there was a lakers game. Ordered a drink but did not get it. It did sit on the bar in our view though!
Overall, if you have time to spare, the food was excellent.
Flavor of the food was excellent. Portions are very very small. Not worth the $$
Slowwwww service, we had to flagged down several times for things we requested.
Brought us wrong food!
Wow, something is wrong here. I travel the world and even have been to Italy several times but never have I eaten food that was so confusing. The flavors just don’t work together and the execution was even worse. Salty, the ocean is less salty than the food here. Avoid at all cost
I ordered the lamb, eggplant lasagna which is not your traditional lasagna because the noodles are rolled with ricotta and placed vertical in the lamb eggplant sauce and cooked. The sauce was delicious but I did not care for the rolled ricotta noodle. My partner ordered the filet mignon and was happy with his dinner.
The waiter was very attentive and knowledgeable about the dishes.
Service was only ok and I was surprised by how small my meal was. Food was very good for what was there.
Special date with my husband. Working the Grammys we got a break and ended up here and was amazed at the food since hotel restaurants are hit or miss and at ANDREW our server who was perfectly helpful and non intrusive and extremely knowledgeable about the food AND wine! Would love to go back someday.
