Cote D'Azur is a Zagat 2012-2013 America's Top 100 Best Restaurant Nationwide Survey!
COTE D'AZUR WAS ONE OF FIVE NAPLES-AREA RESTAURANTS FAVORED BY "CONDE NEST TRAVELER" ON THE PUBLICATION'S LIST OF AMERICA'S BEST FOOD CITIES
The octopus appetizer was the most flavorful and impressive octopus dish I've ever had. The halibut was delightfully presented with an eye (and nostril)-opening basil risotto. The lobster, while less flamboyant, was wonderful and subtly flavored from the mushrooms and truffle oil-- I think perhaps it didn't even need the caviar garnish. The creme brulee was classically executed, with prominent flecks of vanilla, and a bit more robust in body than I what I normally encounter, which I enjoyed-- perhaps the chef uses more egg yolk than most do.
Always a wonderful meal with superb service.
We shared an octopus appetizer that was the best we’ve ever had. The pheasant tagine and veal tenderloin were both outstanding. The outstanding food and superb service made the high prices acceptable. We’ll return!
One of our favorite places in town. Superb meal
Wow. Great everything!
As always, brilliant food and professional service.
Outstanding food, service and atmosphere.
Despite being Valentine's day, there was a full menu. I had an excellent Salmon carpaccio with a light mustard lime drizzle with lacy greens, capers and 2 colors of caviar. She had diver scallops in a ceramic pot (similar to a coquiille st jacques but not) and i had a crispy duck breast with a very nice mixture of berries sauce. All VERY nicely done. Kudos.
Everything was excellent!
Thoroughly enjoyed the evening with friends. Food is excellent and the service was good without being over bearing.
Disappointed! Last year we enjoyed a wonderful meal here! This time one of us ordered filet medium well. It came to the table rare. They took it back, it was charred outside and rare inside. They took it back again, the rest of us had finished eating, and it came back shoe leather.they Compensates the meal but that was not the point! The duck was good but overcooked, last year this dish was wonders! Let’s hope this was just a bad night!
Our best experience yet. And who would have guessed we would be seated adjacent to old neighbors from Michigan!
The mussels are a fantastic preparation, the lobster was as succulent as ever . . . AND the veal tenderloin was the most amazing delicacy of all. WOW!
Tony was our attentive server. He guided us through the menu with great skill and his assistance resulted in a wonderful dining experience. We will request his service when we revisit the restaurant.
Thank you Tony you added a lot to our night.
We celebrate our Anniversary at Cote D'Azur every year, I would recommend it to anyone>
Exceptional food, service, and ambience. Innovative dishes exquisitely presented. Whole lobster and steak au poivre were excellent. Great for special night out.
Charming ambience and superb service. Ordered the sea bass and husband ordered the lamb chops - both entrees were outstanding. Felt like we were in a true French bistro. We will be coming back!
Best duck.....by far. Great place!!
Always good . A go to place by ourselves or frindd
This was our second trip to Cote in 10 days, and if I were still in Florida, I would go back again and again. Both Veal dishes were so good if it weren't such a classy place I would have licked the plate. The mussel appetizer with the basil broth was so tasty we all sopped it up with the ample bread. Go now!
Outstanding French cuisine. Never disappoints..
We have always eaten outside and always enjoyed the cafe atmosphere. Personally we find this restaurant to have the best food in Naples. We have never h ad a meal that was not superb. The difficulty is simply making a choice from the ever-tempting menu. The kitchen staff makes every meal perfect. The owner/hostess is wonderful and the service staff caters to your every need pleasantly. We will return.
Excellent wait staff and service but alas they couldn’t make up for the kitchen
Two fish dishes were frozen fish not fresh which is odd for SW Florida over greasy and tasteless the spinach on plate was drowning in butter
Desserts were poor
No vegetarian choices of interest
Overall my family and I left very disappointed
Cote D'Azur is a quiet French restaurant tucked into a strip mall in North Naples FL. The restaurant is cute and authentically French. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food, especially the crispy duck, was excellent. Unfortunately the experience fell short along a few dimensions. First, the lighting was more suited to a mid-day cafeteria than fine dining. It was really bothersome to the point of wanting to leave. The other problem was that the food, although delicious, was not elegantly presented. The pacing was fine, but mostly because we controlled it. Tables came and left within an hour which seemed odd for a high end restaurant. Finally, the price point was ... high. I'm happy to pay high end New York, Boston, or San Francisco prices but expect a comparable experience. Overall, I would rate the restaurant as good but there are some easy things they could do to improve the experience.
Excellent as always. Service impeccable and the food delicious.
Good local restaurant. Food was very good and our server was excellent. Seems a bit pricey for a location not on 5th Avenue or 3rd Street in Naples.
Wine selection was very good and not a huge mark up.
Very Good classic French fare. Four instead of five stars strictly because the Crispy Duck (not my first time ordering it here) had a significant layer of fat under the skin. Usually the skin is crispier and the fat is minimal. Service great as usual.
Best French restaurant in Naples.
Cheerful French restaurant. Staff is attentive but not obtrusive and the food is amazing. I had the Loup de Mer - outstanding! My husband said his fois gras was the best he has ever had, and he has had a lot! Highly recommend.
Cozy restaurant with exceptional food and service.
Went with friends prior to event at Artis-Naples. Delish. Don’t miss the Loup de Mer, one of my faves in the two county area. Cute but very cozy. Will be back again and again.
We celebrated our daughter's 22nd birthday at this quaint, intimate restaurant. We all tried something beyond our normal comfort zone and we were all pleased. Our waiter, Tony, gave us some wonderful suggestions and an excellent overview of the different dishes, what they were comprised of, and what made them different than the "run of the mill" ingredients we might find somewhere else. The Filet Mignon was cooked perfectly and my Baked Sol was light and tasty. The lobster was good, but we would have preferred it to be a little sweeter for our tastes. Our thanks to Tony and to Cote d'Azur for a beautiful evening.
The food here is very good. The menu prices across all categories are high and get higher every year. The owners are delightful people.
Professional adult servers brought us well prepared food.
Fabulous food timely seating great service. One bummer my veal tenderloin was stone cold. Asked the waiter if that was how it was supposed to be served - they comped dessert.
It was still delicious!
Delicious food. Great service. I have been dining here for years. Always consistent.
Very good food, quite expensive, but very sophisticated. Wonderful mussels in
green sauce, excellent crispy duck, good wine. Desserts not at the same level tho.
Service somewhat bumpty, but hostess very gracious. We come for special occasions and the quality is consistent.
Always a wonderful experience.
Always a wonderful experience!
Excellent as always
Delightful evening. The food and staff were all 5 star. Definitely would recommend to family and friends
