COTE D'AZUR WAS ONE OF FIVE NAPLES-AREA RESTAURANTS FAVORED BY "CONDE NEST TRAVELER" ON THE PUBLICATION'S LIST OF AMERICA'S BEST FOOD CITIES
The waitstaff was knowledgeable and attentive. The flavors of my branzino dish were subtle and excellent. I thought the food and service were great! Can’t wait to go back!
Always enjoy a special dinner at this restaurant. Have never been disappointed.
It’s our go to for celebration and our anniversary. Staff and owners are so gracious and the owner/chef’s specials are artfully delicious.!!!
We love sea bass and this presentation did not disappoint. The chorizo crust was great! Will return for another evening dinner.
Never disappoints us as often as we go there for dinner
Upon a few recommendations we tried this place on our ann anniversary..
WOW we were so impressed.
Food, service br Tony, and overall feel was terrific.
5- star experience.
Most excellent. Food is most outstanding and the service is spot on. Best in town. I would recommend being seated at the middle tables. The booth benches were very uncomfortable for ones posture.
Great french cuisine. Service is exceptional and the dishes are very creative and tasty
Great restaurant but service a bit slow. Food wonderful! Need to call ahead a few weeks to get a booth which is less noisy.
Food was outstanding. Service was fine just slow.
Always good; I'm a repeat customer of many years.Surprising charm for a strip mall location.
This was our first visit and plan to go back. Tony our server was an absolute delight. Tony made fantastic recommendations which made our dining experience perfect. Thanks for a great night Tony and we look forward to our next visit. Ask for Tony if you plan to visit this hidden gem.
Our waiter, Tony, was outstanding. He was attentive and yet not intrusive. His recommendations were superb.
Food was excellent.
We had an excellent meal on Jan 2, 2019. Three of us ordered the fish (branzini) and one duck. All were excellent. Beet salad was very good as always , bread delicious. Good service and quiet so we could visit.
The food and service was wonderful. Duck to die for. Sea bass like it should be. Our 3rd time back.
Lovely as always...had a wonderful New Year's Eve dinner...
A bit cramped, a little noisy because of closeness of tables. Pricey but good food carefully prepared.
Hidden gem in the Publix plaza showcasing traditional French cuisine. Great food and the service from Tony was great!
Food was excellent, but the tables are too close together . Ours had a narrow space between it and the next oneThat was used by people going to the restroom and the waiters serving other tables. Everyone bumped into my arm each time. Very annoying. I complained but all I got was a shrug and "I apologize .
What a great find. The worst part about Côte D’Zur was finding it tucked away in a plaza near a Publix. The best part was everything else! Entering, we were greeted by a smiling hostess, and viewing an almost full restaurant, looking like an outdoor French bistro, with colorful awnings covering the tables that lined both sides of the restaurant. We were promptly seated at a nice table under an awning, about halfway into the restaurant. Our server, Tony, promptly came over to fill our waters and explain the wine list and specials for the evening. Tony was both friendly and efficient while walking us through the menu and describing the specials. We each ordered a glass of wine (list for both bottles and by the glass was both ample and reasonable), while we mulled our decisions. A perfectly baked French bread was placed on our table adjoining the olive oil and balsamic mix already on the table. The bread was warm, nicely crusted, and delicious. My wife started with the roasted artichokes (served chilled), and I started with the foie gras. Both appetizers tasted as good as the elegant, garnished plated presentation of each. Tony’s perfect explanation of the specials and menu made it easy to decide on our main courses. My wife chose the whole Maine lobster, which was entirely removed from the shell, elegantly sauced with mushrooms and caviar, and was delicious! (We always share when it’s this good). I requested the veal chop, served medium rare. It was served perfectly cooked and tender as ever. Upon sharing a bite with my wife, we agreed that it was probably the best veal chop we’d ever had! Too full for dessert, but my wife really had her eye in the profiterole, which we saw on a number of tables. Next time, for sure. This truly was a lovely meal in a very pleasant, comfortable atmosphere. Our server, Tony was both friendly and attentive, as were the many dining room staff who filled our waters, cleared our table, and generally made us feel welcome.
What more can I say than phenomenal!
The food was just ok. This restaurant was expensive and I don’t mind paying a premium for premium service and premium food, this had neither. It was loud and the tables were too close together. Our neighbors were examining our food and asking for a narrative.
This was my second visit to this restaurant, there won’t be a third. Sad because I wanted to like it.
Tony is a fantastic waiter! He is friendly, energetic and made sure everyone had everything they needed. The food was incredible! You must try this restaurant. The ambience is great, the attention to detail was great, and the entire staff is excellent. The owners take a personal interest in the customers. This is an awesome dining experience!
Outstanding from start to finish: from the endive salad to the profiteroles and crème brulée. Waiter Tony was ideal-- totally attentive without being obtrusive.
Truly exquisite Dover Sole! It was the authentic French delicacy, with waiter deboning fish at the table. It was accompianied by a light hollandaise sauce and green beans.
We had a 5 Star experience. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted and all the staff were very attentive and professional. Our meal was exceptional; the appetizers of escargot and calamari, and the lobster entree was fresh and absolutely delicious. The Parisian ambiance added an unusual and touch. This was our first time and we definitely will return.
We went for our 49th anniversary and will likely be returning again in the near future. The service was very good, not too distant nor hovering. There were not very many Provencal dishes which we thought would be on the menu with the name Cote d'Azur but the food was very good regardless. The wine list was extensive, but they we a triple mark up compared to the local wine store retail prices so we took our own and paid the $30 corkage fee as it was a special wine on a special occasion.
Excellent food excellent service
We were greeted warmly by the owners and waitstaff. Our waiter welcomed us as we sat . The specials were revealed. We discussed a food allergy my wife had and with full knowledge of how the offerings were prepared our waiter indicated that it was no problem to prepare two versions of our desired dish sea bass. We enjoyed a wonderful endive pear salad, the sea bass was superbly presented and was exceptional. Our waiter recommended an excellent wine selection which went well with the meal. The restaurant was tastefully decorated for the holidays and added to the experience. The owners stopped by the table and thanked us for coming and inquired about how we enjoyed the meal.
We will definitely return
One of my favorite restaurants period (I'm from Chicago). Ask for Tony, a fantastic server.
So disappointed in our last visit to Cote D'Azur Gone is the French flare, gone is the flare he entire evening was uninspired The menu lacks anything special
Outstanding meals tonight - veal chop, and the loup d mer. So delicious!
We went on Restaurant Week to try this out. Our server ignored us once he knew we were ordering the special menu and gave all his attention yo a very loud table ordering off the menu. My entree(scallops) was a appetizer portion. I went home hungry.
None of us were really thrilled with our restaurant week meals. The butternut squash soup did not taste like butternut squash soup. The mushroom influence was much too strong. The scallop main dish was really small. I enjoyed my duck the best. With so many Naples options, none of us would rush back.
We went for one of their specialities, the crispy duck, which was always superb, this time we were disappointed
Disappointed. Had hoped that the new ownership would revive this neighborhood restaurant. To be fair we were seated "on the patio", but felt somewhat forgotten. Profiteroles were heavy and drowned in chocolate...not good
Tried because of restaurant week. Food and service was amazing. Definitely will be returning and recommending.
Excellent food and service. New owners have done a great job continuing a very fine restaurant.
Had heard fabulous reviews about this restaurant and decided to try during restaurant week. Although the food was delicious, it is extremely overpriced. A typical entrepreneur is $44. During restaurant week there was special for $36 - however, the duck was an additional $15! The atmosphere was void of anything exceptional … there are plastic flowers in the fake windows … huh??? The best part of the experience was the conversation with the diners next to us! We will be meeting them again, but I doubt we will go to this restaurant again.
