So disappointed in our last visit to Cote D'Azur Gone is the French flare, gone is the flare he entire evening was uninspired The menu lacks anything special
Outstanding meals tonight - veal chop, and the loup d mer. So delicious!
We went on Restaurant Week to try this out. Our server ignored us once he knew we were ordering the special menu and gave all his attention yo a very loud table ordering off the menu. My entree(scallops) was a appetizer portion. I went home hungry.
None of us were really thrilled with our restaurant week meals. The butternut squash soup did not taste like butternut squash soup. The mushroom influence was much too strong. The scallop main dish was really small. I enjoyed my duck the best. With so many Naples options, none of us would rush back.
We went for one of their specialities, the crispy duck, which was always superb, this time we were disappointed
Disappointed. Had hoped that the new ownership would revive this neighborhood restaurant. To be fair we were seated "on the patio", but felt somewhat forgotten. Profiteroles were heavy and drowned in chocolate...not good
Tried because of restaurant week. Food and service was amazing. Definitely will be returning and recommending.
Excellent food and service. New owners have done a great job continuing a very fine restaurant.
Had heard fabulous reviews about this restaurant and decided to try during restaurant week. Although the food was delicious, it is extremely overpriced. A typical entrepreneur is $44. During restaurant week there was special for $36 - however, the duck was an additional $15! The atmosphere was void of anything exceptional … there are plastic flowers in the fake windows … huh??? The best part of the experience was the conversation with the diners next to us! We will be meeting them again, but I doubt we will go to this restaurant again.
Côte d’Azur is one of our favorite places to eat on our stays in Naples! The duck, the salads, the escargot, the staff and desserts all fabulous!!
We were not given a good table. the food was excellent but the presentation was uninspired.
I was expecting at least some vegetarian options. It was a nice evening but didn't seem as
nice as it could havebeen. perhaps the poor tablewas the problem. Would a bettter table been given if I had not booked through Open table?
We went for restaurant week and chose that menu. 3 of us were pleased, I had the salad, which was just an ordinary salad, good , but nothing special. For my entree I had the coquee st. jacques. I was so looking forward to it and knew this was the place to get it. Very disappointed. 3 medium scallops surrounded by a sauce that was so thick it appeared that the flour had not been incorporated properly, small serving. Dessert was good.
First time here and had a very enjoyable dinner. Don't go here expecting a traditional Parisian French restaurant ... cooking is French in style but lighter in terms of execution (which will keep your doctor happy) and the menu has more of an America/International feel to it. It was very busy - perhaps because this was Restaurant Week - and was clear they have a loyal local following.
They have an extensive wine list of predominately French wines but at high price points.
We have loved this restaurant for years, but this was our first time with new owners. We brought six friends to introduce them to the restaurant, and everyone thought our experience was wonderful. Great service and excellent food. Even better than before.
We were 6 neighbors who wanted to try Cote D'Azur...the food was very delicious and the
service was excellent...the restaurant was 100% full and the noise level high...
This was Sizzle week and cost $36 per person...my choice was to have the scallops...
very delicious but only 3 and this was the entrée...appetizer was fine also very small...
the dessert Profiteroles was not only delicious and a large portion...
We all enjoyed ourselves and remarked how delicious all our meals were...just would
have liked the entrée to be larger...
Took my wife for dinner on Sunday evening and it was FANTASTIC. Such great bread, wonderful salads and delightful entrees. It reminds us of our trip to Paris. Very authentic. Just go there.
Always wonderful....one of my favorite restuarants
Just outstanding; all six of us thought every course was perfect. The service was also exemplary.
Every meal I have had at Cote d’Azure has been delicious: excellent ingredients prepared with care and creativity. The owners and staff make their guests welcome from start to finish. There is no bar so the emphasis is on food and a dining experience. On any given night you will find guests who are well known to staff. It’s a very comfortable place for an excellent dinner. Conversation is easy. No need to shout across the table.
It is Restaurant Week in Naples and Côte d’Azur had a wonderful menu prepared. Two of us had the sautéed calamari for an appetizer followed by the quail with foil gras for a main course and profiteroles for dessert. The third person had a different appetizer, a pasta and seafood main course and berries for dessert. Everything was delicious, however, the service was not quite up to snuff.
Wonderful restaurant with the new owners in charge. The duck is still amazing and the fish with tomatoes, capers and black olives was scrumptious.
Outstanding French food. Crispy duck is their specialty, and a must try. Nice twist on the classics.
Went to dinner on a Thursday night and place was hopping! We were a bit early,so we had to wait a bit to be seated. The hostess offered to bring us a glass of wine and had the waiters light the heat lamps outside because there was s chill in the air. They were great! We were seated very close to our reservation time and had an incredible meal, as always. We love this place and will go back the next time we are in Naples.
Great, warm reception by owner's (chef's) wife. We got a nice table - nice atmosphere. Food was good, albeit a bit (too) traditional French.
This Naples restaurant has excellent food; a varied menu; and excellent service. I thought that the presentation could be better. Also, although the bread and dipping oil is very good, it was nothing special. It is pricey and some of the entrees are not generous. This restaurant is for special occasions or a once in a while selection.
The loup de mer was fabulous!!
We have dined here numerous times and maybe I’m in a rut but I rarely look closely at the menu. Their Crispy Duck is so good that I just can’t bring myself around to ordering anything else.
We were hoping this would be one of our more memorable anniversary dinners, but it was not. Service was by and large good, but the server did not acknowledge our anniversary in any way. We were more of a footnote to his other tables... Restuarant is expensive for the location. Overall, food quality was good, but not extraordinary. We are fortunate to dine in many French restaurants. We wish they had made the effort to make us feel a bit more special.
As usual food here was outstanding. I had Duck, my wife had beef both were very good. We like, the atmosphere, the menu and the food quality and presentation. On this visit our server while pleasant was rather inattentive. He seemed busy talking to a group of his favorites. We had to ask for him to return on several occasions and he took 5 minutes to replace a knife after my entree was served. Not disastrous but a bit disappointing since our usual experience here has been to receive very good attentive service.
From the warm welcome by the Owner/maitress d'hotel to the Provencal decor, to the professional and friendly service and outstanding cuisine....Cote D'Azure is Superlative in every category. Our favs are the octopus appetizer, the crispy duck, the yellow tail snapper ....actually everything on the menu. Especially enjoy the profiterole dessert with the generous serving of melted Belgium chocolate...yum...
Great place, fabulous service, wonderful wine selection, and exquisite dining options.
We celebrated our anniversary, and we could not have picked a better place.
Always a treat. Pheasant and veal were fabulous. The duck is still the best around. And service continues to be outstanding. We dine here 2-3 times per season for special occasions. Never disappointed.
I wish I had taken photos of my food to share its artful, gorgeous presentation... but I couldn't wait to try it! We had the foie gras, salmon carpacio and the tomato n buratta for apps, lamb chops for dinner, then somehow fit every bit of the chocolate mousse in our bellies. This place is an unassuming hidden treasure with top notch food and fine dining experience. Kudos Cote D'Azur! 10 out of 10 again!
We had a lovely evening. The meal was amazing. Tony did a great job taking care of us.
Wonderful ambiance, great service and great food. The owner who greets all guests is most pleasant and helpful.
One of our favorite restaurants in Naples!! The duck is wonderful & their Dover sole is the best!
Artichoke appetizer supberb. Recommend the duck.
Excellent food and prep. The only thing is about the pheasant tagine. The flavour was excelent and well combined but the pheasant nedded at least 2 more hours of slow cooking to make it a perfect meal
Always a treat to dine here. Dover sole is always delicious, as is the Loup DeMer. Claude, our waiter, was efficient and pleasant.
Excellent location for Birthday. Anniversary and any other special occasion! Certainly fine for a meal of 4 or 6 friends... more than 6 might be a stretch as you would be in the middle of the restaurant in a long rectangle layout making it difficult to speak with everyone... Food and Service is excellent!
