    Staff is fabulous. Last year I noticed an upcharge on rum drinks made with Cachaca 51 so I ordered it on the rocks as I like to drink my liquor strait. The bartender obliged and it is the best white rum I've had. Then I ordered a bottle to go, and they had to see if it was "allowed or available". Fortunately, it was available. This year I noticed Cachaca 51 is now on the drink menu and available by the bottle. So, I bought one. Maybe I started something. Dinner was fabulous.

    Not a great version of a Brazil steakhouse. You pay the price of one but the food and quantity of protein does not match a good Brazilian steakhouse. I would choose not to eat here next time in Bay City

    This place left a lot to be imagined. The salad and soup bar was good but the rest of the food we had was less than impressive with little to no flavor. We also had the slowest service. We were at the restaurant for over an hour and didn’t even get a chance to taste everything and sat with our plates empty 75% of the time. I’ve been to other Brazilian steak houses so I was excited to try this one. I would not go back and definitely would not recommend it to others. Save your money and go somewhere else.

    We were very disappointed in the service! The food was satisfactory, but a little overpriced for the quality. At the beginning of our “Churrasco experience” we were told to help ourselves to the market table and our waiter would bring bread to the table. We never received the bread we had to ask for it. We ordered a second round of cocktails and it took 25 minutes to get them. When they started to bring out the meats it was one after another you had no time to enjoy each meat. After they were done bringing out all the meats we sat for about 20 minutes before our waiter came back to our table we had to ask him to take our plates and 1 of us wanted an additional meat and we had to ask for that and we were never offered the final grilled pineapple, we had to ask for that as well. We were never offered desert either. With the 20 percent automatic service charge we expected much better service.

    We had an enjoyable dinner. But it could be better. How? The primary issue was that the meat that came to the table came too fast and so it just stacked up on the plate and made the experience feel rushed and also resulted in some of the meat getting cold before it could be eaten. Service was very good for the first half of our dinner than non-existent. So I am recommending it but with the caveat that some things need to be improved.

    Not what was expected, not what most Brazilian restaurants offer, limited choice of meats and only 1 of meat sample per, not unlimited like previous. Wanted coffee with cream was given coffee with Vanilla flavoring, they didn't have cream - ran out a week ago, but did not inform us at time of order. Still charged for coffee.

    This was our first visit but will not be our last. We were unaware of the Churrasco Experience on Friday's, but our server allowed us the opportunity to try out the Cantina shareables and still enjoy the experience.

    The meat is decent the salad bar is ok. The bread was dry which it isn't usually. The service is always mediocre but we expect that when we go there so we are never shocked

    The food & atmosphere was great. The service was polite & helpful/courteous. However I wish the service slowed down a bit to allow us to enjoy each meat that was presented, but we got everything so fast, back to back (less than a minute or between each meat), you couldn't even take a bite before your plate was a pile of meat. We don't like to over-indulge, so many in my family were only eating a bit of each thing to try and planned to take home the rest as leftovers. We found out at the end of the meal that everything we didnt eat would be thrown in the garbage, they don't allow for leftovers to be taken home. I can understand if people are “abusing” this, but for $50/person, i definitely felt like i should have been able to take my food that they served to me instead of it getting wasted. We were not ordering extras to stock pile, but each person took one serving of the various meat selections. That was quite frustrating!

    They charged us for water! Who does that?? Then at the end of the meal the waiter told us they added on a 20 percent tip for the waiter, the bartender and the hostess and then asked us to tip them more! We left no more tip it made us very angry that they added on a 20percent tip for those people and then asked us for more tips. If they hadn’t done that we would have tipped big but since they did that we didn’t give any extra tip.

    We ended up going to celebrate my graduation. The waiter was wonderful, and the meats were delicious. Even my son found something he wanted seconds of! Everyone ended up ordering dessert and we had enough people that we ordered 1 of everything, I would say the banana cake was the best.

    I took my beautiful lady out for her birthday. I thought to a great restaurant. Service was slow, we paid for salad dressing! Who pays for salad dressing!? I ordered medium and my steak was tough and chewy and it was medium well. The big thing was , my steak tasted just like a ponderosa steak you can buy for a dollar with the buffet. Never once did the staff asked about our experience. We got even charged for using a credit card. The owner must of had a family gathering there for a birthday party. Screaming kids and babies. For a high end place . I would recommend to stay far far away!!!!!!

    Wow the meats are fantastic! We went with the full experience as I wanted to know what their entire menu had to offer. The first items came by our table with small 2 pieces and I was a bit confused as I thought I’d be seeing big skewers full of meat. As the skewers kept coming and my play started filling up I knew why they did what they did .. to sample everything then you can request your favorites. By far my favorite was the picanha. The lamb was a must for me too and the chimichurri was excellent with all the meats, but be sparing with it as it’s rather strong. Not a place I’ll be going to once a week, but on occasions will be a staple. I will definitely be back! It was my wife’s birthday so they gave he a free desert which was nice.

    I was recently enlightened to the idea of Brazilian steak houses and seeing that there was one so close had me incredibly excited but by the end of the night I would say I went from a solid 10 on the concept to about a 3. The flow of service felt a strange, at one point we had been confused as to whether or not we were getting what we paid for whereas once the service started it felt rushed. As for the actual quality I can only really say that the grilled pineapple and bacon wrapped filet stood out to me at all which are both pretty hard to screw up. I can’t say I’m impressed with 2/12 items and some jasmine rice supporting the whole trip. In the end when we had been displayed a few choices in dessert and while the display crème brûlée wasn’t necessarily recognizable (dry, split, over burnt) we still went for it. They looked good but ended up tasting like they were made with a ton of salt. For the price you could go anywhere else.

    Not sure where to start with this experience…. The staff was friendly enough but difficult to hear our sever. The acoustics of the restaurant could have contributed to that. The initial part of the meal was basically like going to a buffet and the quality was ok , very similar to going to a golden coral. That would be ok if it weren’t for the prices. The meat came out after about 20 minutes and we were served all types of pork , beef, and lamb. It was average to slightly above average. Again , if this was a $15 buffet that would be fine. But it’s not and we expected way higher quality. We got two dinners , two cocktails , and one dessert and our bill was $153 with the mandatory 20% tip they add on. Next time I want a buffet , I’ll go to golden coral or ponderosa. Next time i want a high quality steak , I’ll go to Luckys or Texas Roadhouse.

    Greyson is an outstanding Server. He has waited on our group a couple of times. He is genuinely friendly and definitely cares about his guests. The guys that bring out the samples of meats were also very friendly but I would suggest they pace out their offerings a bit. Before you could finish one selection they were bringing another selection. Seemed a little rushed. My favorite Restaurant in the Tri-Cities!!

    My husband and I wanted to try this place for sometime now. When I told a few people that we planned on eating here they warned us to not come here and we should’ve listened. The restaurant was practically empty for the first 25 minutes we were there. I ordered the salmon and it was the saltiest salmon I’ve ever had. The server was nice so I’m not knocking that but the cook needs to step it up because the food was just not good at all.

    I never provide reviews, but my experience was so bad that it motivated me to create my first one to prevent what happened to me from happening to anyone else. The meat was spoiled. I tried the bacon wrapped chicken and it tasted spoiled, thought it was a fluke. Tried a piece of filet mignon and a piece of picanha and they were both also spoiled. At this point I gave up, and left. Also, the gaucho brought out the meat one small morsel at a time. I would rather go to Texas de Brazil or Fogo de Chão any day, where they bring you out whatever you want however much you want. You almost never have to wait for meat at either franchise. To top it off, it was Valentine’s Day and this completely ruined the night as the spoiled meat made my significant other feel sick. I still had to pay The only positive feedback I have is that the bartender was excellent. The drinks were perfect and he was fast, professional, and provided great service.

    I have to say we were disappointed in our visit to Costela. Service was very poor. Drinks had to be requested to be refilled twice before it was done, dirty plates were not pulled after finishing eating, requested to see the dessert tray and it was a good 15 minutes before the server returned. Overall, food was good but for the price point I felt the salad/appetizer bar could have had more variety. Just not a positive experience.
