   Went to Cōste with my husband for our anniversary. Mark our server was great and knowledgeable. Food was good, my snapper dish was too salty but the problem was fixed right away. Highly recommend the Brussels sprout app and lobster carbonara as well as the key lime pie for dessert. Downside was my first glass of wine at the bar, the bottle had been open for a while and the wine tasted old. One more day and it would have been vinegary. Maybe get the bartenders to check the wines before pouring them?! Overall the experience was positive!

   Went for our anniversary. Staff were gracious and just the right amount of attentive. Sunset view was beautiful. Food and beverages very good and as a pleasant surprise we were gifted a yummy anniversary dessert.

   Mark our server was superb. Despite it being a busy evening he was very attentive The filet wan cooked to perfection. It melted in your mouth like butter: and the snapper Oscar was phenomenal.

   Pretty restaurant until they put the shutters down( not a turtle nest in sight there, we walked the bch. earlier, as the reason). The Caesar salad came with a small amount of romaine slathered in dressing, a hard boiled egg, pile of tomatoes?? We love scallops, but these were tasteless. Service just ok.

    I will tell you Coste never disappoints! We brought friends that had never been. They could not stop talking about how wonderful our evening was. Tracey was our server and she was fabulous. The food and cocktails were outstanding, as usual. And watching whatever weather is performing over the gulf is always an extra added treat be it a beautiful sunset, lightening storm or waterspouts. Our friends are already talking about a return visit.

    We experienced excellent service, a beautiful view, and had a lovely time. The food was a bit disappointing. While our appetizers were very good, The brussels sprouts and the chowder, our main courses were a disappointment. I had the snapper Oscar. The béarnaise sauce was broken, and the crab was not lump crab meat as I would’ve expected for that price. My husband had the prime steak special, the potatoes were cold, the meat was just so-so. Both appeared with lovely presentations but taste wise were very average.

    Came in 10 minutes before reservation,we were told table wasn’t ready to go to the bar to wait Sat at a table by the window and a server promptly and not nicely told us we couldn’t sit there as we were in the walkway So we move to another table and order a drink 30 seconds later the hostess says close out your tab your table is ready So we do , we try to find the hostess, not to be found we stand holding our drinks She finally shows and takes us to our table Have to say the table was gorgeous, but by this time I’m feeling like a cow that is being herded about The salmon and lobster carbonara were delicious also Brussel sprouts Fish and chips and chicken ok It was too bad that we started out the way we did

    It was an app night! I tried the Mongolian Shrimp, Calamari, and Crab Cakes. The shrimp were my favorite of the three. All were good but the crab cakes could’ve used a little more seasoning. Good experience and will definitely be back!

    Coste is a nice restaurant for a hotel staple. The food was OK, but nothing special. My snapper was tasty as was my wife’s salmon, but nothing that would cause us to rush back. The prices were high, probably due to the type of customer - read tourist - the hotel appeals to. The view was good, not spectacular, but again, we live on the beach and see this view daily. If I was from the Midwest, I’d be impressed. The service was excellent. Our server had a great sense of humor and saw to our every need. There was never anything we lacked, and yet the server was unobtrusive. Would I return? Probably, but not for a while. There are too many other spots on the beach or along nearby beaches which offer as good or better fare for a lower price.

    Food was terrible. Worst birthday dinner ever. I had the Snapper Oscar. The undercooked asparagus was drowned, and I mean drowned, in oil and the bernaise sauce tasted like it came out of a can as opposed to a real bernaise made the real French way. Portions were small. $179 for 4 water drinkers. Some of us left hungry.

    This is one of our favorite restaurants, the view, food and service have always been outstanding in the past. However, this time, we were a little disappointed. Mind you, our server was very pleasant and did a nice job. My husband ordered his steak rare, it came out medium well. The chicken I ordered was dry which was disappointing. We did not let the server know, we just ate our meals as we do realize sometimes a chef can just have an off night. We will try again soon as we are local.

    Mercer and Kyle are way over the top! They are more than exceptional folks who treated My wife and I with polite, enjoyable attention, positive attitude, and a wonderful, professional, dinning experience. We enjoyed an incredible elevated view of the beach and Gulf of Mexico. Food. Important, it is, to qualifie an opinion. My wife and I have traveled our worl and have enjoyed great multi culutrual food. A fun, exciting, and tasty sojourn for sure. We can only vouch for our choice and not all. Dissapointing and expensive. 1. No frozen alcoholoic dinks -eg, Frozen Margarita, Pina Colada, etc. Sea food chowder, so curious, a taste of seafood broth, no seafood, but vegetables and beef. Bouillabaisse is a disgrace. We have enjoyed this dish in Italy and complimets to great Bouillabaisses and one of the best in Billogio's Las Vegas. Costes was a one brown colored broth and food, rubbery shrimp, brown scallop, overdone small Lobster tail, and mussles. We thought it could possibly be one of those frozen distributor things you just warm up in a micro wave. This gave us pause about the rest of the menu. Would I reccomend to a friend, yes, after I reported the above.

    No complaints on good and service. Decor is nice, but not fancy. Went in the summer months bc it’s so busy in season, but if you want to see the best sunsets you really need to go during the winter season. Summer season you can go eat before sunset then stroll out into the beach to watch the sunset up to the northwest. We will go again in the winter but traffic is a nightmare.

    During our stay at the Diamondhead Beach resort, we dined at Coste and had such a great experience, we had to return the next evening! We were thrilled when we again had Mark as our server. He was so attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. He welcomed us back as soon as he approached our table and even remembered our special requests, like the temperature my dad wanted his steak and the sides he preferred. He is an exemplary server and we would return just for his friendly and professional service! That said, Mark only enhanced an already wonderful experience. The food was amazing and beautifully presented. Not pictured because I had no time to take the picture, was some of the best and freshest calamari any of us have had! The chef and kitchen staff know what they’re doing and do it well. We had no complaints whatsoever with the food. During dinner there is also a live act across from the bar. Both nights, the artists were talented and friendly. The music is played through speakers for dinner guests to enjoy at a good level where conversation is also easy to carry. I would recommend this any time you visit the Ft. Myers area and hope to return to see Mark again soon!

    Mark, our waiter did an outstanding job. He was very attentive and offered wonderful suggestions. The food was terrific. We ordered the filet and short ribs. The soup, a chowder was delicious. The caprese salad was very good. We also ordered the ahi tuna at Mark’s suggestion. We topped it off with a fabulous key lime pie. All in all it was an amazing experience-it was our first time at Coste.

    Cafeteria food. I read the reviews and thought for sure this is good. I think the chef left. We had the two best seafood entrees and it felt they were reheats from the night before. Based on the Oscar sauce, it was not prepared that night. Overpriced food with decent views.

    My wife and I celebrated her birthday there recently. The views are amazing, the food very good, and the service impeccable. The only demerit, and it's a small one, is the bread bowl is underwhelming. As an Italian, I love fresh crusty Italian or French bread, not the ordinary heated rolls we were served. The food though was very good. Calamari was tender and fresh (a lot of places in FMB don't do fresh calamari - i.e. too chewy), the Snapper Oscar and Bouillabaisse outstanding. And to top it off we had a bottle of the Porter Cave Dwellers Blend which was one of the best cab blends we've ever had. While some of the wines (eg. Silver Oak at 3x) were marked up too much imo, the Porter was only 30-40% over retail. A good find and one we would like to add to our wine cellar at home. Highly recommended. We will be back.

    Gorgeous beach side restaurant with superb food and service. We had blackened Mahi and Salmon as entrees. And The beet and arugula salads. Both were absolutely delicious! We had the best table in the house—right next to a window with a view of the beach. They even surprised us with a complimentary chocolate lava cake for dessert to celebrate our wedding anniversary. A top notch evening all the way around! We be back!

    Restaurant is beautiful and we had a great table by the window as I requested. Dinner was delicious although I would have ordered the special had the waiter told me about it. I had the strip steak which was delicious but I overheard him tell the other table about the prime rib which is a favorite of mine. But over all it was wonderful

    It's a wonderful place to eat, it has the most breathtaking view. The service is amazing and I definitely want to go back there again.
