   The service was excellent! We ordered tapas style and shared everything. Our favorites were the coco mojito, the tuna totopos, and the chicken empanadas. Highly recommend!

   Great atmosphere. Beware of the chairs if you have a bad back. Awesome food. We shared a few tapas and a bottle of wine...that we poured ourselves.

   This was our best meal in Sedona, with my husband (who had the tenderloin), saying it was the best meal he could remember in years. The food was so flavorful and delicious it was noteworthy. Service was attentive and professional. This is a great restaurant!

   As locals we've dined there quite often since they've opened and have always had a great experience. We are making our way through the menu. Shared starters were the Tostada de Carne & Hamachi Rabo Amarillo and a main course of Chilean Merluza al Coco Lopez and Feuille de Brick Squash Quesadilla. The Mojito de Coco was also a wonderful take on the original. Highly recommend everything. A note about kids. Although there is no separate menu for them we inquired and found there's enough items for them like the empanadas to make it work.

   We loved every dish we ordered! Fresh ingredients were celebrated throughout the menu with a compelling balance of flavors that kept you wanting more. Go with friends/family who love sharing food.

   Small relatively comfortable restaurant. There were a few glitches noted upon arriving, including not immediately recognizing our reservation, seating us at a table then having to move as the table was being saved for another party, and eventually receiving our bill with an entree listed that we never ordered. Overall quality of the food was very good, and service was attentive. However, the menu setup is very poor, and a “recipe” for unhappy patrons. Basically, all choices are listed under one column of choice….both items that one would consider as an appetizer, as well as something one might consider more of a traditional entree. Perhaps price could serve as a distinguishing marker, but why leave that to chance? As an example. My wife ordered the “corn chowder” soup, listed literally above another item that was more costly and seemed like it might be an entree. The size of the soup was small, and was priced at 19 dollars…which after tax and tip was about 25 dollars for a small cup of soup. It was good, but certainly not worth that, and more importantly was not anything close to an entree. It would be fairly simple to creat a column of items that are clearly meant as starters, whatever the price, and perhaps another column of items that might be considered Tapas. Lastly, a column for full entrees should be listed. This should be a priority of the current ownership. Restaurants are very expensive today, and the bar is high to satisfy patrons with small cups of 19 dollar soups and 20 dollar drinks. The current system at Costa by Madrid is setting themselves up for failure, which is not inevitable given the inventive menu and apparent high quality of the food. The difference between making it or not is small….

    The flavors for everything we had were different from the usual. The beef carpaccio tostada was a favorite of everyone at the table. The sides were delicious - best asparagus I’ve ever eaten and the roasted chickpeas were another favorite. Our server was friendly and attentive - there when we needed her but she didn’t hover. I’ll go again!
