    The restaurant was good the halibut that I had was very dry and had no seasoning. But they serve took care of us. So it was overall a good experience.

    We dined here last night. Drinks and appetizers that we had were amazing. Very well presented and finest quality of food. However, very limited menu and after the appetizers we really had no appealing choices for dinner. We inquired as to why no more tapas, because the calamari, the albondigas, & bread platter were on the money! We were told that the restaurant is switching themes and tapas is out, they couldn’t tell us what was coming in. Sadly, we had our three bottles of Cava, the appetizers and we went somewhere else for dinner. The service was amazing and the food and beverage manager came to the table and spoke with us, it was a lovey experience. I think we caught the establishment in a transition period. Food (that we ate) was top knotch, service was excellent. The lack of options was a bummer.

    Based upon other, available, dining options, in the Saint Augustine area, we felt that Costa Brava was overpriced, but not necessarily atypical, for a boutique hotel restaurant. We paid $12.00, for a small, round, loaf of bread. The menu options, in all categories, were highly limited and unimaginative. Main course options consisted, of one fish, one chicken, one vegetarian, and one, other, non-memorable dish. Other than the Sangria, which was passable, there was very little, of our evening's experience, at Costa Brava, that reminded us of intimate and charming dining, in the quaint restaurants, of Spain.

    Very small menu, however great charcuterie board and one of the best old fashioned that we have had. Staff was very polite and our hotel manager made sure that our experience was the absolute best that they could offer. Great experience!

    When we arrive, could not find hostess, and our reservation was for 1230 and the table wasn’t set. Two of my guest on ordered hamburgers. One was supposed to be medium and the other was supposed to be medium well. They both came out well done. Wait staff was non-attentive. Live music was too loud.

    Upscale dining perfect for our anniversary. We went later in the evening so the pianist was playing in the front bar area but very few patrons in the restaurant. We did mention it was our anniversary on the reservation but no one acknowledged so at the restaurant. Food was exceptional and service was great! Would recommend!

    What a great restaurant! It popped up on Open Table and we snapped up a reservation since it was Mother’s Day. From the valet parking to the great service from Martin and every delicious bite it was a fine dining experience. My wife got the “eat like a local” four course meal with wine pairing. Martin let us know that was a lot of food, so we shared the charcuterie board and dessert and I added in the excellent Spanish Caesar and the prime filet. Evidently they are doing a renovation and remake into a chop house over the summer starting in June, so catch it while you can.

    We had a great mothers Day Brunch experience. The food was excellent, including the dessert’s. Server was very attentive to our table. Our 1:00-3:00 window was excellent and not overcrowded. The $95 price is a little steep but is to be expected for a holiday brunch. We would definitely do it again in the future.

    This was a fantastic Mother's Day Brunch. The only thing I rated below 5-star was value because it was quite expensive. Alec was a great server and the food was delicious with lots of fresh seafood and prime rib.

    Our server was amazing, and recommended the best food and drink to match our tastes. Our Rum Tiki and Espresso Martini were delicious. The filet was perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the duck was tender and had wonderful flavor. Highly recommend it all! The wagyu meatballs and the mushrooms were also great!

    A great experience - a lovely setting with live piano music, and kicking things off with a really nice crafted cocktail. I make it a habit of getting duck whenever I can and theirs was the best I've had, hands down. The bourbon flight was generously poured - fortunately we were staying within staggering distance! The bread pudding dessert is definitely one to share - I was defeated and had to bring some back with me 😄 Overall a lovely meal and we'll probably go again next time we're in St Aug.

    We were staying at the hotel. The ambience was nice. We were excited to try the tasting menu but after arriving we changed our minds because the tasting menu was underwhelming. I ordered the red wine flight, I was expecting 3 red wines however one was a rose. The hunts board was good. We ordered a Ceasar salad that arrived after dinner was served. The salad was good. I ordered the duck and my husband had the paella. My duck was cooked too well done. They were out of Brussels sprouts so I had them bring carrots instead. The carrots were very good. My husbands dish was not good and I honestly felt bad that he ordered it. He hardly ate anything and ended up getting pizza after dinner. The server was very friendly and visibly upset when the salads came out late.

    My brother and his fiancée held a small family wedding ceremony and dinner in Costa Brava’s Sultan Room. Caitlyn and Kelly were fantastic in explaining the details for use of the room and Abby and her restaurant team went above and beyond to make the evening special and delicious. We so appreciate everyone there and highly recommend them for a small special event or even a nice meal out!

    Way over priced for the quality of food. Menu selection was substantially less than expected. Normally I don’t pre-review menu for high end restaurants, but i wish I had in this case. First and last visit.

    Service was slow and unattentive and the restaurant was not crowded. Food was ok, no seasoning and paella did not have much seafood mostly rice. Not worth the cost of this great venue and hotel.

    Costa brava was a huge letdown. We went there for our 27th anniversary and we're looking so forward to an amazing meal and romantic setting. Instead we waited at the hostess booth for over 5 minutes even though we had a reservation and no hostess showed up. Our waiter had zero personality and definitely did not make us feel special or the occasion feel special. We waited more than 10 minutes before he finally took our drink order. He would just disappear for long periods of time. I ordered the paella, it was such a letdown, basically a bowl of white rice and black beans with some calamari slices, two shrimp and two scallops and it tasted very fishy. Not what I was expecting from an executive chef. My wife ordered a filet it came out far too rare for her liking. It took several minutes before we were able to wave down another wait staff since ours never came back to check on us. The steak was cooked to her liking but all the sides were cold. The manager brought out fresh sides that were hot several minutes later and also provided a free glass of wine to my wife. The overall experience was a huge let down. We will not be returning to Costa brava anytime soon. For a very expensive meal we expected a lot better service and better quality of food. With so many great dining choices in St Augustine I see no reason to recommend Costa Brava.
