Cosima is located inside the old boiler room of the Mill No. 1 building, which has been nationally recognized for its painstaking renovation. Both the menu and atmosphere provide a warm inviting environment for friends, families and neighbors to gather and perhaps discover a part of the city many Baltimoreans have never seen. Dining on Cosima’s outdoor patio will offer incredible views of the historic Jones Falls waterway.
Sicily, and the surrounding Southern Italian region, is known for fresh and seasonal ingredients but is also a mix of all surrounding Mediterranean cuisines. Sicily was once home to Greeks, Arabs, French and Spanish – all lending their cultures to create modern Sicilian and Italian heritage.

My wife and I have eaten at Cosima many times now and every time we are more and more impressed. The menu maintains its staples (meatballs, lasagna, etc) but is always changing. Every dish has been phenomenal and the staff goes above and beyond to make your experience top notch. Can’t recommended enough, easily one of the best spots in Baltimore.
Food was amazing and our server, David, was the best! It was our first time dining at Cosima, but it will not be our last. Highly recommend!

Waitress was distracted and not welcoming. Kale salad was over dressed and dressing was way too sweet. Seasonal vegetables were dry and polenta was very bland. Atmosphere is great and bartender was attentive.
This was our second visit in a month. The first being so good, we wanted to try again and were NOT DISAPPOINTED. The setting is perfect for our tastes and the interaction between staff and guests made it so very enjoyable. Once again our meal was delicious and taking it all together makes it an addition to our "go-to" list of places
It was just so good. We did shared plates and it was a perfect amount of food is not more. And it’s just such a lovely place. The waitress was so sweet and she even went outside in the freezing cold to take a picture for us!
Food and service was not great!
Food was superlative throughout. Upstairs was noisy, making it difficult to hear the wait staff, but otherwise the service was quick, accurate, responsive, unobtrusive and pleasant. But again, the principal kudos goes to the chefs and kitchen.
This was a evening I finished wondering WHY it took me so long to try this place! Finding Cosima seemed to lead us a bit off the beaten path but was well worth the find. There are no "bright lights" to help find the front door, just a classic sign on the corner of the Mill inviting you to "follow the arrow" to this dining experience. Entering I felt very comfortable; not too "vibrant" (loud) while not cavernous (empty). Staff were attentive and friendly; once seated everyone on staff checked to make sure we were taken care of. I was impressed with the delicious selection of Italian inspired recipes - and a little bit of pizza as well. All items had that fresh taste I look forward to in a good meal. I am a small plate diner and found a good number of choices. Looking around us, everyone's meal ended with some sort of dessert as well.
My daughter had her rehearsal dinner at Cosima this past June and that was a fantastic experience.
My latest dining experience was equally great and you should be very proud of the restaurant.
We will be dining there often, as my daughter live close by.
The food and service were excellent. My only minor complaint is that the vegetables could have been cooked more.
I wanted to take my son to a Sicilian restaurant for his birthday. We had traveled to Sicily three years ago, and we loved it there. The food we liked so much was fresh vegetables and fish, and we discovered that again here in Baltimore! We also enjoyed Cosima's selection of Sicilian wines, and our waiter added a personal touch by providing a bit of banter and displaying a fine sense of humor. We will be back soon.

Cosima was wonderful!! We had a dinner for 7 so we got to try a lot of things. There wasn't one thing we didn't love. The only complaint I have is that there is a limited Sicilian wine list that was difficult for us all to agree on so we ordered by the glass. Needless to say it was an expensive night, but still delicious and fun. We highly recommend it!!

This was our first visit to Cosima and we loved it! Everyone we met, from the valet drivers to hostess to our server were welcoming and helpful. The restaurant is beautiful and ambiance is very warm and inviting. And our meal was perfect- we started with Brussel sprouts and Burrata appetizers- all yummy! Everyone tried a different entree and everything was very good- the meatloaf and lasagna were favorites at the table. Our server David was attentive and funny and helped to make our birthday celebration a special evening. This is a cool spot with great food and excellent service & we will definitely be going back!

A remarkable setting. The entrance is in a courtyard mysteriously reminiscent of a hidden old Europe contrasting with the wonderfully modern restaurant and bar itself. The menu's scope is wonderful, the food outstanding though on the night we dined somewhat hot (peppery) for my taste. The meatloaf entry was delicious. It's description in the menu reminded me of the Tympano highlighted in the movie "Big Night" . Couldn't pass ordering that and it was indeed wonderful.

We celebrated our 40th Wedding Anniversary at Cosima's. It was a lovely evening. Everything from the valet parking, to the food, to the service, was noteworthy. We have recommended it to our friends and have given gift cards to our children.
Excellent service, great atmosphere better food!! I went with my wife for the first time. One of my friends recommended the place. We absolutely loved the place!! We will definitely be back. My wife and I loved the fact that the executive chef brought our appetizer. That made us feel special!! 😊😊.

Amazing appetizers and sides, and cocktails. main dishes were only so-so. A little too much smokiness in one dish and an odd choice to put BBQ-like sauce on Swordfish.
Atmosphere is fab, and so are all of the staff. Please consider tweaking the main dishes because we love your restaurant!

First time visit with friends. Mike was our server and was extremely knowledgeable in wine selection and helping with our dinner choices. Everything was out of this world delicious!
I really love Cosima! Tonight was the prix fixe Sunday dinner. It is an excellent value and a good way to experience the cuisine. The appetizer pairing and the dessert pairing were truly excellent! We made a mistake with the spaghetti and meatballs. The meatballs were delicious but the overall effect was rather dry and flat. I would have loved some crushed red pepper! Mark was a great server and sitting outside was the best.
Waiter/barkeep team prepared and served the wrong drink for my husband. I gave it a so-so "food value" because everything was expensive and my pizza special of the day was a mish-mash of flavors that were unappetizing to me.

We had the meatball apps, they were delicious, and the flatbread which was fantastic.

Wonderful dining experience on Sunday. We sat outside which was beautiful and the food was great. They made awesome drinks and the waiter was great. I enjoyed the entire experience and would definitely return. The only downside was the meal took 2 hours but I was with my husband so that was fine:)
First time customer. Had outdoor seating - wonderful. The wait staff were friendly and efficient. Sunday dinner - $70. A couple - 2 appetizers-1 entree and 2 desserts to share. Portions more than enough for two. Food was outstanding. Definitely reccomend. Will definitely be back with friends.
Excellent menu - fantastic variety of dishes and on Sunday night they have a prix fixe which was great. We had roasted brussel sprouts with a spicy honey aioli and a watermelon gazpacho. For dinner it was lamb that fell off the bone that was topped with a cherry Demi glacé that was subtle and added a ton of richness. The fresh veggies in the side were done to tender perfection. For dessert it was probably the best panna cotta I have had - served with a fresh blueberry sauce that contrasted perfectly with the dessert.
Cosima is an outstanding location for outdoor dining, and the food is always superb. A current favorites is the branzino.
Loved everything. One dish we ordered Fonduta was supposed to come with vegetables but did not. We had a vegetarian with us so there were limited offerings for her
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Service was immaculate and the food was delicious. I highly recommend Cosima to anyone in the baltimore area. Great for a date or a night out with a group of friends.
