First time eating at Corked. Overall, the food was good. My NY strip steak was one of the best I have had at a restaurant. Perfectly cooked. Cocktails were ok. My friend sent back his martini...something didn’t taste right. The bartender did not hesitate to make him a new drink...which was much better. Our server was excellent. The bar was very chic with tiny lights built into the bar top. I would go again...if just for the steak.
Restaurant? Or Night Club? They need to choose one.
I have been to Corked several tmes before and was happy when there was a last-minute open table. The happiness ended as soon as we got in the door.
The food was very disappointing, ambience was bad. Only the service was decent. We were double-teamed, and the servers were responsive when we were able to get their attention, but . . . .
No more customer meals or dinners with my family. Too bad to see a good place go south.
Waitress took another tables order, but we sat down first. Must of been reoccurring customers or friends, but that is not customer focus. Also they got their food first. 😡
Had to wait for our reservation but it was Valentine’s Day weekend so that’s usually the craziest weekend. We were able to sit at the bar while we were waiting and everyone was very nice. The food was also delicious!
Too loud! We could not carry on a conversation without raising our voices. Overlubed loudmouths at three tables behind us, plus so-so acoustics contributed to the lack of atmosphere. If it wasn't for a very good waiter we'd have been more upset.
Bartenders did not even acknowledge us even though not doing anything, had to wait 15 minutes to get seated, yet a plethora of open tables, waitress got the order wrong and had to ask for silverware. Used to be good, but seems service going downhill. On positive note the food was good.
I thought it was more upscale. It has TV's everywhere like a sports bar. Not the atmosphere I was hoping for.
Food and service were excellent.
Excellent service, great atmosphere, delicious food. Not much to choose from menu, but delicious. Beautiful for late dining and lounge after.
Went for Valentine’s Day. Food and service were superb. Definitely will go back.
A great night spent on valentine day, ordered two appetizers, the bruschetta and crab cakes, both were above standard for sure, and a filet mignon, which was ordered well done, but came out medium rare, but the manager insisted it be fixed and when it can back out it was mouth watering and cooked perfectly, although the green beans were a little oily. Overall a great meal with great service, in a great bar. Would recommend and will revisit
Great atmosphere with great food.
Menu needs a bit more variety. Otherwise always happy here and will definitely be back.
Server was excellent. Meatballs were cold. Nachos had very little cheese. Pizza was less than ok. Pizza at local pubs are much better for less money. I don't mind paying more if it's better.......this was not.
We loved our brunch at Corked! The food was so unique as were the adult beverages! Will definitely be back!
There were things on the menu that they did not have. My husbands steak was well instead of medium. My pasta was too soft. We went to Brew works & got bar food after. Much better
Overall it was a good night with good company and good food.
Overall a good place. Service was a bit slow early on but it was New Year's Eve. Our server was friendly and terrific. Neat decor inside.
A few of my friends and I went to corked to have dinner. The host that greeted us at the door was a little stern and not too welcoming. Our server was nice, but not efficient.
We waited over 35 minutes for our salads. The salads were basically just lettuce. Our server did not check in regularly throughout our stay. We asked for drinks that never came. We, again, waited a long time for our entrees. The food was ok, not terrible, but nothing special.
It was just frustrating sitting with empty water glasses, waiting on to-go boxes, waiting on drinks that did not come, etc.
I understand that one experience with a server doesn't define a restaurant, however, this experience didn't leave me with a desire to return. Where the service lacked, the food did not make up for.
It was a horrible experience and I wish I would have read the reviews before making the reservation. It had been about 6 months since our last visit and we had enjoyed past meals but the place has gone downhill. From waiting 20 minutes for menus and another 20 minutes for a round of drinks which arrived wrong. Avoid!
The hostess was a terrible "first impression" as she never smiled and her drinking at the hostess stand was unprofessional. Everything got better once we were seated. Our waitress was outstanding, friendly and funny. The food was spectacular.
Shopping for Christmas
Sports bar. What happened to this place? Hard to enjoy a meal when bloody UFC on screens all around. Won’t go back ever.
Hostess was not at the desk when we arrived. When she showed up five minutes later she initiated conversation by stating “You’re gonna have to wait” and proceeded to walk away again. She was visibly irritated when we asked to be seated away from the front door (for a reservation made 7 weeks ago). Appetizer arrived uncooked. Was redelivered a few minutes later burned. One entree (filet mignon) was delivered ice cold. We stated we no longer wanted it after the appetizer issue. When the bill arrived we were given the cold entree back in a take home container and told we had to pay for it, as it was half eaten (in fact only one bite had been taken). We observed another table sending back cold food as well.
It was great
Enjoyed a happy hour drink, followed by a nice dinner, Sarah was great and accommodating.
There was a large party seated next to us & they were so loud, we could barely hear each other across the table. Food wasn’t as good as previous dining experiences here. Perhaps it was because it’s the holiday season, but I still don’t think that is an excuse. The manager did give us a gift card to encourage our return. Perhaps...
WE were there on a Sunday so No Night Club experience. Our server Morgan was great, the food was very good. A little noise but acceptable. WE enjoyed it and will return when in the area.
My husband and I love coming to this restaurant when we are in Bethlehem. the food and service cannot be beat. I have recommended to many friends and family.
We went to celebrate my husband’s bday. It was a fantastic experience. Great service, food is delicious and flavorful. Our waitress was very polite, have great knowledge of the menu and kept checked on our table making sure we had the best experience!
Food was good but not worth the price.
The turkey BLAT was very disappointing. There was a huge chunk of turkey and barely any bacon. I can make better sandwiches than that at home. I was hoping Corked’s food would be comparable to Apollo Grille (especially their turkey BLAT panini), but I left disappointed. Service was not very attentive and I had to ask a few times to get a refill on drinks. The pomegranate martini was pretty good.
Great Vibe, young lively atmosphere! Fresh food, wide variety for everyone in our group; great value for fine dining. I’ll definitely go back.
Nice ambiance. Food is ok. Bartender was rude. Good ambiance.
Friendly and courteous service. Excellent food and great ambiance!
Urban ambiance in a restaurant serving decently priced and good steaks and seafood
The food left something to be desired, but that aside my main qualms with this place was the atmosphere. Are you trying to be modern and trendy with the decor? Why play big band and swing? What’s with the diner style papers underneath the “nachos” (I use that term loosely...). Also, what’s up with the booths that face the rest of the restaurant? I felt like dinner consumption was on display.
We were less than pleased. We are new to Corked and brought our grandmother here for her birthday (weekday night) because the menu looked awesome and appeared high quality. We realized on the way there, according to the website, we would be there during Happy Hour (bar and lounge.) When we arrived we were informed it was only at the bar; We still ordered drinks. Despite the place being empty, we were seated at the only fold up table in the place, tucked around a corner. During a conversation we were interrupted by someone soliciting money for an organization. The food quality was not as expected as nothing appeared fresh-made, thought-out meals at all-frozen pizzas, canned soup, raw apples and walnuts on the crostini’s. As someone else mentioned, it would be important for Corked to establish if they want to be a nightclub or a quality restaurant. On another note, Sarah was a great waitress and consistently came back to check if we were ready to order or needed another drink.
